Leslie
I have an incredible life. It’s exactly the way I’ve always wanted it. Even though I’m an Adamson, I’ve earned every bit of the life I have today.
I’ve made sacrifices but regret nothing. Who needs love, kids and a white picket fence?
Not me.
That is until a fast-paced, charismatic, yet broken-beyond-belief racer starts screwing with my head and okay, maybe my heart, too.

Cash
We all have demons. A past that haunts us. I’ve tried like hell to overcome mine and move forward.
And I’ve done pretty well for myself.
Now, when my past and present collide, I have to decide which direction to go.
I’ve always been one to go with my heart, but what happens when the ghost of my past and the key to my future both own a piece?

I hope your heart is ready for these two! Let’s talk about a rocky past for the two of them, both before they met and after. Pain, loss, addictions, forgiveness and healing. I loved this story right from the first page, i could not put it down! Book four in the Adamson Family Series is hands down a 5 ⭐️ must read!

Gah this book is everything!!

I've been so intrigued by both these characters separately throughout numerous other books so was so excited we got to read theirs!

Lesley Adamsom is a ball busted and takes no shh from anyone. Shes the ultimate heroine and one of my favourites ever!!

Cash Phillip's is the life and soul of the party which had previously come at a cost. And oh his past made me cry so hard!!

These two together are ultimate couple goals. They are strong but independent. And that ending made my heart oh so happy!

Another fantastic book by Nicole Dykes! #Lash <3

This story is completely unforgettable! The writing is stunning, the characters and their journey will grip you by the heart, never letting go.

Leslie Adamson is a ball breaker. She doesn’t take crap from anyone. Has her own mind and isn’t afraid to voice her opinion.

Cash F—-ing Phillips is a southern boy with the drawl that captures all the girls attention. It doesn’t hurt he’s a gorgeous race car driver either. He’s past won’t stay in the past though.

This book is a must read that pulls out the feels, so grab your Kleenex.

Leslie is strong, a badass woman and rising sports journalist who doesn’t need or have time for a man. Cash is a sexy as hell racer with a tragic past who doesn’t want more than one night with the same woman. So despite not liking each other together they think they’ve come up with the perfect no strings attached arrangement. What could go wrong when they misbehave together?

Every book I say this and every book it’s more true: Nicole Dykes’ storytelling and writing only gets better with each book she pens! Her heroines are funnier, stronger, and utterly likable. Her heroes are swoon worthy assholes who are never perfect, but always find and earn redemption. The angst and feels are plentiful, but she always manages to inject the perfect amount of humor in just the right places. I love good banter and I can always count on that when I pick up a Nicole Dykes novel. And sweet Jesus the steam factor! *bites fist* You could read a sex scene to a wrinkled shirt and the steam would have it looking pressed and polished in no time.

Sexy, emotional, and totally unputdownable. This is one book that can’t be set down until you reach the end. If you’re already a fan picking up this book is no brainer. If this is a new-to-you author buckle up, Buttercup and get ready to fall in love with The Adamsons, Nicole’s writing, and the binge fest you’ll soon begin while catching up on her backlist. 5 Stars.

O.M.G. Cash and Leslie's story is finally here! I love love this book! I love how we get more of a back story of the two! Learning A LOT as to why each of them are the awesomeness they are and why they work steamy and hotness the entire time they have known each other. You may cry. You may blush. You may yell. You may be mad as all get out and happy as a frog on a lilly pad. This book has all the feels. I can only imagine the emotions these characters have felt. One of my favorites by Nicole Dykes. My absolute fave of the Adamson family for sure! Must read! Yes 5 stars for sure!

Wow just wow!

Nicole Dykes is one of my absolute favorite authors and she hit it out of the park with this book!

Misbehaved.. Cash and Leslie

Cash Phillips has had one hell of a life, he’s been through the ringer and has been put to the test time and time again always proving to be stronger than the rest. He battles his demons and his past, but his past refuses to stay in the past

Leslie Adamson gorgeous reporter, ball buster, and just not raised right. She refuses to let love in after seeing the disaster marriage her parents had and never wants to be out through that. Will Cash be the one who changes her mind?

I highly recommend this book, as it is one of my favorites!

Wow. I had the honor of beta reading this beauty as it was being written. It was outstanding from the very first sentence. I lived & breathed LASH for almost 2 whole months. And all I can say is: if you want heartbreak, real life shit, angst, love, healing, steam. READ THIS. Cash is the ultimate book boyfriend (shoutout to his wifey Janelle!) and Leslie 100% has EVERY girl reading this book crushing! Swoon worthy. Tear inducing. Heart breaking. I want to read this book again & again. Nicole. You are a goddess of words. I’m so glad I get to read you 🖤

This book is EVERYTHING! By far my favorite Nicole Dykes book thus far. I’ve loved both Leslie and Cash since they were first introduced in other books and their story is freakin incredible.
Leslie is incredible and independent. Cash is broken but healing. They are both so strong and even more amazing together.
This is an absolute MUST READ. Even if you haven’t read any of Nicole’s books yet please please please pick up this one and read it!

Cash and Leslie, wow where to even start, a strong willed female from a strong willed family determined to be the top of her field and best Sports News reporter ever, she is independent and everything you should seek as a strong female role model.
Cash oh cash, he’s devastatingly handsome, tattooed and seeps bad boy from his pores into your soul. He’s torn and angry, he’s hurt and damaged he’s exactly what a strong women can put back together. Years of tournament with a ex named Beth he saved back in high school from a bad situation with her father, a baby born all to soon to junkie parents who drank way to much, with a heart defect.. Beautiful shay, heap warning this story will tear you to shreds and repair you just when the sun refuses to shine again. A beautiful romantic up and down romance that started as friends with rules and benefits hate love if you will. Blooming into a relationship so strong they face his ex together and still find their way back. Don’t miss a story full of love, steam, sass, hot alpha and strong female that will knock your emotions out and repair them all in a few chapters. Dive in and ride this feeling bomb.

This book 😍😍😍
I love the way Nicole writes her books. Knowing that I will be able to see what’s going on with the rest of the family and friends while reading her new books always makes me happy.
I’ve been waiting for Cash forever ! He didn’t leave me disappointed.
Leslie is the bad ass sister, take no names that I’ve always loved.
This was a fantastic book. It dealt with real problems. I love when books that I’m reading are actual real life problems that I know are realistic, it makes it more real for me rather than reading something so out there that you know it’s fake.
Leslie and Cash have a special relationship, for many years they’ve been having this relationship. I don’t know how They do it but they do. When Beth comes back into the picture what happens to Leslie and Cash?

I really loved this book. If you’ve read all the other books this one is a must. Cash has a great story.
Thank you Nicole for doing it again!

Misbehaved is book 4 in the Adamson Family Series, and in the spotlight....Leslie!! She is such a strong, kickass "I don't need no man" my career is all I want kinda woman....who also didn't have an easy life, swore she would never, NEVER get involved with a racer, then she meets Cash Phillips, race car driver, and Cash has quite a few demons of his own that he's fighting, and he's doing a good job keeping them at bay, Leslie's demons are different, but just the same have helped make her the ballbusting, take no prisoners badass she is!! The sexy times will melt your kindle, that's how hot Cash and Leslie are!! Nicole is so good at writing all the feels, and throwing in banter that makes you laugh when just a few moments before you were wiping tears away. I love each and every book Nicole writes, and I can say with full confidence all books yet to come, so HELL YES I am recommending this book...you need to read this!!! I can't wait to see what road Nicole takes us down next!!

Oh wow...
I’ve been intrigued by these characters since they were introduced into the monroe/adamson family, and Nicole hasn’t disappointed, I couldn’t put this book down, and I am so in love with cash and Leslie.
They both have had a rough start but are completely perfect for each other. This story covers a lot of triggers and shows that with the right people around you, anything is possible.
I am so glad they got their happily ever after, and I have to say, for a while I wasn’t sure they were going to, but Nicole, being the awesome author that she is, ensured that nothing was missed out and that they had an epic story

I was gifted an ARC for an honest review.

I loved Cash. He dealt with his issues head on and realised when he needed some help. He supported everyone and was just a really nice guy. He was there for Beth, Michael etc etc

Leslie was a ball buster with a heart of gold.

Leslie and Cash together were great. Another great Adamson book.

I have been waiting for this book and it was so worth it but I wanted to punch Cash a lot during the book. Leslie is tough on the outside and she tries so hard to stay that way on the inside but I loved how she would pull herself together and not take crap for anything. I hope there is more about them in future stories as I didn’t want them to be done yet.

Why do people misbehave? It’s not for the reason most people think. Many times it’s because they can’t control their emotions, have unmet needs, they want power and control, independence and sometimes there’s issues that affect their life so deeply that they don’t know how to cope other than by doing something to avoid the situations. This book meets all of these conditions above. It is way more than a steamy love story. Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of hot scenes that would require a fire hose to put the flames out. Really though this book is on another level deep. It depicts two flawed individuals that have so much baggage they are trying to find their way through not knowing how to gain some control over their lives. On the surface it looks like they have it all. However, as we all know looks can be deceiving. It deals with grief and just trying to get from one day, one hour, to the next without falling apart.

Cash and Leslie are beautifully flawed people dealing on a daily level to control their situations and not let loose. As we all know life doesn't stand still and things constantly change so do people no matter how well we will it to be be otherwise. There’s a lot going on in this book that adds to the story. The secondary characters are almost as essential to the story as the the two main characters. At times they will break your heart. I don’t do spoilers so you need to read the story but I assure you it will be well worth it.

This book can be read as a standalone but it will be better appreciated if you read the other books in the two series. They really do interconnect. I started in the middle and definitely want to read the rest.

As I said you’ll get everything you’re looking for drama, smiles, heat, angst, and romance. You may even cry or at the very least tear up. You may also get a little more educated on what grief and addiction (there’s all kinds of addictions) can do to you.

Do yourself a favor and read this book. I read it in one sitting. I was so immersed in it I couldn't put it down.
Kudos to the author for such a beautiful book. I may have spent hours reading but the story will stay with me for a very long time!

When casual becomes complicated.

Misbehaved is a story filled with some heartbreaking moments. And I'll be honest I wasn't sure which way this would go, I wasn't sure how I wanted it to go. My heart and mind bounced back and forth between how I wanted this story to end, regardless Nicole Dykes once again has me powering through this book.

Cash his life is messy, complicated and I really felt for him in this book. He truly had, what seemed like the weight of the world on his shoulders. Leslie is a breath of fresh air, she's independent, hardworking and just seems easy to get along with.

But complications always have a way of turning your life upside down and this story is no exception. I enjoyed this book immensely but that has pretty much been par for the course with this series as well as Nicole Dyke's Monroe series.

Of course this story wouldn't be complete without some of those fav characters making an appearance throughout.

If you are looking for a series read that will have you invested in the characters and their journey then I strongly suggest this Series, this book as well as Nicole's Monroe family series. They are books that really have the perfect blended families in them.

Nicole weaves romance, heartbreak, obligation, and redemption into one amazing romance novel! You will swoon, cry and every emotion in between.

If you haven’t read Nicole’s books and this is your first one, you have been missing out. This book just continues her masterful abilities and she will continue to amaze you with each book she writes. The characters leap out of the page at you and are so real. She creates situations that are very realistic and memorable. I fell in love from first page and didn’t ever want the book to end. She weaves romance, steaminess and angsty all together in a beautiful way.

This continues the Adams family series. If you want the background behind the characters, you need to start from the beginning. You won’t regret it. Leslie and cash are one of my favorite couples. They are truly made for each other and it shows as this story develops. They have many demons they have to overcome in order to get their HEA. Together, they are an inferno. They have many obstacles to face, but they do so in a very real and amazing way. They only become stronger together. This book was one of my favorite reads of 2019!!

Life is full of potholes as we navigate the road to who we want to be. Cash’s beginnings didn’t start easy being in foster care but he found someone that made him whole. Then life sent a tsunami into their bubble and he’s been struggling to cope ever since. He keeps himself guarded, never truly letting anyone in. When he finds the perfect remedy in Leslie Adamson, a fellow believer in no strings hook-ups. Leslie has her own demons that she struggles to battle as she fights her way up in the sport broadcasting industry. This story surprised me as it squeezed my heart and made me cry while showing me the beauty of redemption and hope. The road to love is never easy, will Cash and Leslie be willing to embrace the opportunity? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Nicole Dykes did it again. What an amazing book about Leslie and Cash. Two very strong people who have dealt with such tragedy, heartache, and addictions in their pasts. These two despised each other in the beginning and then completely fell in love. Reading what Cash and Beth went through broke my heart. That was the hardest part to read about. I shed several tears through this book. I could feel the emotions they each were going through. When you can actually feel the pain, love, and good moments the characters feel, that is a damn good book and writer. I highly recommend reading this book. You will love it from the very first chapter and won't be able to put it down until the end. Thank you Nicole for another amazing book.

Wow. This one is definitely my favourite of an already really great series. The fact that it shows bow addiction is not a mention once or twice and thats it part of a book but shows the moments of weakness and temptation. Shows the determination to remain on the right path and the help support groups and a friends/family support system gives really adds a depth to the book.
Leslie is likable as she is a take no prisoners woman on a mission to reach the peak of her career. Her romance with Cash was supposed to be a quick fix to scratch an itch when thet needed to. Eventually though those pesky feelings sneaked it.
Cash has such strength to carry on and be the man he is given what he has been through. Definitely a great read

Nicole never ceases to amaze me!
I fall head over heals with every man she’s put in front of me and Cash Freaking Phillips is no different. I’ve already loved him in other books in this series and the Monroe’s but learning his back story and watching him fall in love was incredible.

This story is near and dear to my heart because i can relate to the pain Beth was feeling with losing a child and I think Nicole portrayed the character wonderful.

This story was freaking PHENOMENAL! Phenomenal phenomenal. I loved the flipping back and forth and where you took the characters individually.
Leslie and Cash are PERFECT with their imperfect selves! 🔥🔥🔥

Loved this book!

5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Misbehaved is the story of Cash and Leslie (and of course Beth). Nothing like having to decide about your past or your present. How do you give your heart to someone when you feel you gave it away a long time ago? Read to find out exactly what happens when past meets present and what the future may hold for Cash and his true love. Read to find out.

This story is about real life struggles from bereavement, addiction, abuse and love. It will pull you in with the emotions that keep you turning the page to see how it will all be handled.

Another amazing book from Nicole!

I get so lost into the world she creates and how she links all of the previous books together to give us that world, Leslie is a real kick ass women who literally has no fear and Cash is the perfect guy for her!

Nicole writes both of these characters so well.... she shows their strong sides, their vulnerability whilst still having a light hearted ness throughout the book!

This is another emotional rollercoaster but so worth the ride!! Tickets are available make sure you join the ride!!!

I loved EVERYTHING about this book! The emotions were raw and real. Leslie and Cash are one of those couples that just seem to get it ... Understand each other. And willing to let go if that's what is best. There were some very real and difficult subjects addressed in this book. I started it on Friday morning and finished Friday night... At midnight 🙄. I stayed up to finish because I didn't want to put it down!

You read about one Adamson and think you are happy but then you read about another and can't get enough of the Adamson's. That's not even the best part, the brothers are great but then you get to read Leslie's story, and hope there's another story for their little sis. I honestly can't get enough of this family and love how Nicole Dykes makes all her characters like people you could be friends with or relate to. If you don't want to read the series, Leslie and Cash's story is so good you won't want to stop until you finish the book and even then you'll want to grow old with them. This is a must read, I will be reading it again soon.

Nicole has done it again!!

Nicole has the ability to take you to an alternate reality. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to throttle Cash and I fell in love all over again with her characters. My fiancee lost his daughter at 7 years old. I felt alot like Leslie when I found out we we're expecting our surprise baby. Here we are 8 years later with 5 children. Thank you Nicole, again and also for adding Michael in Cash's story ;)
