I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognise that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practise given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes...
My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain crosseyed.
I love talking to my readers so email me if you have any questions or even if you just want to chat... Email: teeayerauthor@gmail.com

Yay, we're finally going to Mithras to save Saleem! FINALLY :D
Right of the bat, I would like to say that, I think this is the one I like least of the series so far. The story takes place in a timespan of a few days during which we're either preparing to go to Mithras or are there and are preparing to storm the palace. Some parts of the story (especially concerning the others like Kai) were very vague, which wasn't giving me the immersion I wanted. Yes, I know there will be books with other points of view of the same occurrences. But maybe its time to let them all flow together into one story? Because in my honest opinion, it's hurting the quality of the story as it is right now :(
And where is Division7 in all of this? We met the witch, yes, but there were literally no agents of Division7 around, I can't believe they would just up and leave all their hard work.
Not to say it wasn't an enjoyable read, far from it, such great twists and turns yet again, with Mel finding out she has other abilities and who the Witch really is (it's a doozy, I can tell you that!). Pacing and flow were very good, the book itself was well written with only a few minor errors here and there.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and unfortunately, it just didn't do it for me, I was left with a feeling that the story was incomplete and the ending was rushed :( Still... looking forward to the next installment cause this really is a fantastic world and series to read!
I love Mel, the star of T.G. Ayer’s Demon Bones: A SoulTracker Novel #6: A DarkWorld Series (DarkWorld: SoulTracker). She’s a great kick-a** gal, my favorite kind of character, and it’s been fun following her along - but this time around it’s mind-blowingly fantastic. Newcomers to this series are best off starting at book 1. As for fellow addicts (ie, anyone who has read the prior books)? I can freaking guarantee you will love this book. It’s just that simple. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "DEMON BONES" WOW!!!! This was one exciting intense drama filled storyline full of suspense, secrets, lies, betrayal, intrigue, magic, mystery, twists that have you turning page after page. Mel and her crew are going to Mithra to save her jinn Saleem and they meet absolute mayhem, chaos, danger who will live who will die can they save him in time. TG AYER did a phenominal job writing this amazing series with such interesting, entertaining characters it's a must have book you don't want to miss I highly recommend I can't wait for the next book in fabulous series "SOUL BOUND TRACKER BOOK 7.
T.G. Ayer delivers again with Demon Bones! Once again our favorite group of supernaturally find themselves in dangerous circumstances as they just left one death defying battle in ghe last book. Their mission this time is to save the sexy Djinn man. This story is engaging with twists that are unexpected, betrayls, action, revelations, magic infused battles, and many humorous moments. Ayer drops hints of future storylines which makes me wish those books were already available. I am impatiently awaiting the next books in the DarkWorld series as these characters are relatable and you can't help but want to see what happens with them.
Truth and lies. Secrets with held. Death at every corner. Who will die who will not. Who to trust. Mel is trying to save Saleem in the djinn world. Sentinel, Omega division 7. What are they really up to? Can Mel and her team save Salem? Who are these rebels? What is it with the Djinn Queen? Who is behind everything? Who is this witch mage that she keeps coming up against? Who is this person beyond Division7? Who will live and who will die. Take a trip with Mel while she try’s to save Saleem. I received a free copy for my honest review.
Melissande, along with the djinn queen and her team of supernaturals, including Darcy, Kai and Logan, are finally, FINALLY going to rescue Saleem! Or are they? Someone somewhere is leaking vital information, and Mel and her team are thwarted at every turn. Add in some new powers that are manifesting in Mel, the resurrection of the dead, and a mysterious, murderous witch-mage, shake well and you have… DEMON BONES! What a ride! Twisting and turning, rolling faster than a roller coaster! Full of action and intrigue, I loved every word!
Mel and her team of supernaturals, along with the Djinn queen are going to rescue Saleem! Or are they? Someone is leaking vital information and Mel and her team are thwarted at every turn. Add in some new powers that Mel is experiencing, resurrection of the dead and a mysterious, murderous witch-mage. What a storyline. Twisting and turning, full of action and intrigue, I loved every word! Recommend to anyone but would suggest you read the other books in the series first to understand the characters and storyline. Great writing Tee as always.
I loved this book. I think that this is one of my favorites. Well Mel is finally getting her team together to rescue Salem, they have to be able to leave at a moment notice. Then as usual things changed and as big a team was not needed, much to the disappointment of the young ones, and the relief of Mel. and Kia. Once on the other side of the veil, with little to no help from the company that Mel works for, strange things start happening to Mel. Strange powers that she didn’t know she had start to appear. Well since I don’t do spoilers I’ll have to stop right here. Please this book is full of surprises and twists and turns I’m sure That your going to love it as much as i do. It is a must read for anyone that reads Tee’s books and if you haven’t read any of her books start with skin deep a skinwalker series. These two series intertwine.
Different realms, unexpected twists and turns, and newly awakened powers make this a fabulous adventure. Who is the mole, where is the enemy, and what dark powers will the dark witch bring into play? Complex characters, hidden secrets, and new dangers within a well-crafted world create an engaging tale of courageous heroes and deceitful villains. I loved it.
We get back into this world and follow Mel with more of the drama that seems to go with this series. The flow is a little bit hurried but it does capture your attention. Mel is growing yet again in this with more revealed for her. Many elements of magic in this helping to cement the story in this. There will be a sense of urgency in this with us racing along with them. A page turner with us disappearing for yet another good episode of this series.
Lies, betrayals, and shocking twists play out in this new installment. Nothing went as expected and I enjoyed how unpredictable it was. There’s so much going on there’s never a dull moment and I look forward to the next adventure as the stakes continue to raise higher and higher.
Great continuation of this epic story. As usual, Mel, Logan, and the rest of the gang are wonderful. Small portions of the story are predictable, but a breadcrumb trail is easy to miss. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.
I received a copy of this book as a gift. This is my honest review.
I like these characters, but I hate this plot, where the same event is repeated over and over from a different POV. Sentences and entire paragraphs are reused. I read Kai’s version and Mel’s version. I don’t think I’m going to read Saleem’s.
This book is filled with action and intrigue, it has a great storyline 👍. The chemistry and interaction between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Tee has brought Mel and her team together on a whole new level in demon bones. The team completes another mission and has already decided on what to do next..with many questions still unanswered when will they hear more about the secrets unfolding around them.
Well done again T.G. Ayer! Another rousing and drama/danger filled ride with Mel & crew ... this time to save the Djinn Prince she loves Saleem. Wait for it ... "Holy Plot Twists Batman!"
The plot of the series is good. But the dialogue just runs on and on, with a lot of discrepancies. And very confusing for me. I want to like it but I kept putting it down cause it was driving me crazy
T.G. Ayer has done it again! Another wonderful story that picks up where Book 5 left off. Once again the character development is amazing, the story world excellent and I can't wait for the next one! I highly recommend this series.
This is the 6th book in this series Loved it! Mel is a great character. Fast paced story kept me interested the whole series has been fun to read. Well worth reading
I really enjoyed this book, seems like we have been waiting forever for Saleem to be rescued. With action and some twists this book answers some questions, while creating a whole new set.
4.5 * This is a wonderful continuation of the UF DarkWorld Series. It is well-written, filled with action, twists, supernatural elements and an assortment of situations gone wrong. The characters are developed, engaging, likable, relatable and determined. I loved this entertaining book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
