A Miners to Millionaires Spin-off Series! It finally happened. Charlotte’s bakery is open and thriving beyond anything she could have imagined. He’s brilliant at what he does, and he wants his job done as efficiently as possible before returning east. His heart has been bruised before, so it doesn’t matter if Charlotte is as sweet as her confections. He’s determined to steer clear of her—until trouble hits. Which of them is in danger and why? And can he keep Charlotte safe while also protecting his heart?
Another sweet story about life in Promise Creek! I've enjoyed this add on series to the miners to millionaires. The copper Kings is a series about the group who have started a copper mine in the area. Love these clean stories with great plots and are fast reads that keep things moving and keep your interest! Great read!
Brilliant loved the story the plot the characters loved everything about this book. Max and Charlotte's story. Charlotte has the bakery in town with an apartment above the shop but she doesn't live in it coz she stays at Ivans house that was left to his mail order brides so she lets the apartment out to one of the Copper Kings Max. As the story unfolds their relationship blossoms but Max is struggling to except the attraction between them and so lots of issues arise that need to be dealt with. Charlotte's doing her best to be patient but finding it hard. Its a lovely sweet romance that just captivates and intrigue s you.
Charlotte was content with finally owning her own bakery, but when Max Blackgate moves into the apartment upstairs, she realizes that she has other dreams too. As peculiar things start to occur, Max becomes fiercely protective of Charlotte, but keeps her at a distance, not willing to risk heartache again. The chemistry is there from day one, and you'll be left with a craving for sweets when you finish. Western Future is a sweet romance that makes you want to take a chance at love (while baking cookies!)
All the talk of freshly baked sweets made my mouth seriously water! Charlotte, resident baker of the Copper Kings brides, finds love when she least expects it with Max. Only Max has been thru his own disappointments so that he is hesitant to love and be loved. I really liked their courtship and the activities they did together. Everyone should have a large meadow full of flowers! Very sweet love story! Rating: PG/PG-13, clean with a few steamy kisses.
Each of the book in the series are as good as the others - no duds! This one is especially emotional because the hero has a fractured heart which of course affects his personal life. The heroine is a woman who enjoys life and tends to be happy in any circumstance. Opposites really do attract.
The book is well-written with wonderful characters and a great storyline. Each book in the series is different and I like that they’re not cookie-cutter stories. I recommend them all.
Charlotte and several other ladies had been brought to town by the Copper Kings for a better future and hopefully marriage. Men outnumbered women by great numbers here in town. Max was new in town as he was one of the Copper Kings in charge of the mine. Max and Charlotte find good friend ship, but will they find love. Past hurts and present dangers stand in their way. This is a very enjoyable read and you will enjoy it.
Charlotte and Max are each believable, interesting people. Their relationship develops as they come to know each other and themselves more deeply than ever before. Their story parallels those of Abby and Lucas (Book 1), and of Lily and Chase (Book 2). The individuality of Charlotte and Max and how their relationship develops makes this book a delicious treat.
Charlotte is living her dream, she’s opened her own bakery. Max, one of the Copper Kings hires the place above her bakery and he wants to help her, but not the way she wants. Can their friendship develop to more? And what about some strange events? Again a great story by this author, you can’t go wrong when you choose one of her books.
Your stories easy to read entertaining so much, you made like I living I living there. I love the way how to stranger like Charlotte and Max met not knowing what was going on in their lives, the emotional scars they hAve and little by the overcome their differences and compromising to make a happy life..
Best yet! Love, heartbreak, conflict and danger all rolled into one. I liked this logical Copper King from the beginning and knew his story would be a good one.
Another excellent story from Janelle Daniels. Charlotte and Max develop a relationship with ease. They are in New jobs with challenges and risks. Despite these issues, they are able to find t g e love of their life.
I have Western Future 3 stars because I found it to be disappointing. Not much to the plot... falling in love was very rushed. Normally, I love Janelle Davis' books, but this one just seemed written quickly using a formula.
Charlotte owns the new bakery in town and has a Cooper King Max coming to rent the above stairs apartment. Max loves pastries and feels very protective of his landlord. - Babs
Western Future is book Three of this series. It has drama and a bit of humor. The romance is sweet with some passion.I enjoyed this book and I feel you will too.
I am just loving this new series. Enjoy this book and the yet oil that occurs before the final attraction Enjoying this author and plan to read many more of her works. FYI, if you haven't read the miners to millionaires series by this author, go back and read those
Charlotte is perfect....beautiful, thoughtful, kind, considerate, clever and good, far too good for him. Even if Max can forget his past and take the leap of love, he can't possibly be enough for Charlotte...can he? Whilst he is confident in his work and ability to do his job, Max constantly doubts himself and his worth to women, it is nice to see not all the Copper Kings are perfect, although they are pretty close! This is a great series on Kindle Unlimited, as is the original Miners to Millionaires that comes before it.
I love this series. The characters are all unique and fun. They are very well written and deep. You know their hearts and thoughts. This book is a fun romance about instant attraction between two very different people. They form a natural friendship that allows readers to fall in love with them. There are twists and turns and adventures to keep readers guessing. I highly recommend this book and the series
