AN ALPHA AND HIS WIFE!
What a story. What a ride. I don't think that this story was going to turn out the way I expected it. This story leaves off with Leo and Jill married and then omg can the sex scenes be any more hot nope with a sexed 6ft plus alpha male, well you can't complain 😂. I loved the flow of the story the secondary characters that brings life to their story and at times Jill did become a little too whiney but the epilogues left me content.

I totally forgot that Gaurded was getting a book two!! When I saw the sign up I knew I needed this book SO BAD. Jill and Leo are in a new place in their lives, married, in love and living their best life! Leo’s past is coming back to haunt him and Jill is their way to do so.
I loved this book, there was oh so much sex and it was very welcomed!! Also got some action that had me sitting on the edge of my seat!
I’m so happy we got to see more from and the family they grew together. We also got some new faces and I’m really happy they will get their own book which is coming soon!!

After reading the first book (Guarded) in this duet/series I was really curious about the second book ‘Tethered’ that is about the same couple as book one, Leo and Jill. In the first book we saw how they met, how Leo fought their attraction and later his feelings for Jill. But their chemistry was just too big to fight, so they choose be together and even got married in the end. In this story we get to see how their married life is going and we get to see how certain circumstances will put them on a new path to a new future. So you really need to read ‘Guarded’ first before reading this one.
The writer R.C. Martin knows how to write a good story and ‘Tethered’ is a well-written, good developed story and I enjoyed it for the most part but there was also something that I liked a bit less so in the end, I’m left with mixed feelings about the story.
I liked how the story went, it took a few twist and turns that I didn’t expect (I like that in my stories). The main characters stayed true to their character. Leo and Jill have been married for a while now and have established a good routine between Leo’s work and traveling and Jill’s work. But even as a married guy, Leo is still silent, growly and very protective. Jill is still sweet and totally in love with her alpha guy. They are living a very good life but then Jill gets kidnapped by a dangerous man because Leo’s father owes him a lot of money and he himself has no money to pay off his debts so now Leo is expected to pay. Leo is furious and he will do anything to get Jill back safely. He turns to an ‘old’ friend Cruiz to help him save Jill but they don’t have a lot of time. Luckily, he can also count on a new friend Dax to help him. But even when Leo manages to save Jill from that dangerous place, they are still in danger because now Leo’s father is out for revenge. Can Leo protect Jill and himself from danger or not?
In this story you could really feel the love between Jill and Leo. It was deep and all-consuming. Cruiz and Dax, the new secondary character we were introduced to were very interesting guys. They really did everything they could to help Leo. They were loyal and protective. I’m so happy that they will get their own story in this series too. The sex scenes in this story were again very steamy and although I enjoyed them, they are also the reason of my mixed feelings about this book. The scenes itself were no problem but for me personally (and I don’t say this a lot) there were just too many of them. I can understand that Leo didn’t like to talk about his feelings and that he would rather show his feelings physically but now and then I would have liked them to talk to each other or for them to have sex behind ‘closed doors’ (without all the details). Just a few sex scenes behind closed doors I would have like more but that is just my personally view.
I was really happy with the two epilogues that the writer gave us at the end. I loved them!
I will certainly read the next book that is about Cruiz.

5 I love Leo Vollucci ⭐

“For eight years, Ashley was the job. Protecting him, serving him, it was all I had. He was my purpose. Until you. Even then , even when I had you, I didn’t see why things needed to change. But I see it now.”
Tethered continues Leo and Jill's story right after Guarded ended. We get another dose of Leo's love and devotion towards Jill. He's an amazing husband and lover. They start their happily ever after but soon enough there's danger knocking on their door. At the end of book one we get a glimpse of what's to come.
R.C. Martin makes a wonderful job describing everything that goes on, I couldn't stop reading, I felt like I was there with them, this is the type of book that keeps you glued to your sit, we get love, steamy scenes, suspense, hateful characters and new guys to love like Cruiz and Dax. Everything that happened only made me love Leo even more. He’s my favorite caveman. And the epilogues at the end just amazing.
I can't wait to read Cruiz's story next. I'm sure it'll be as amazing.

I devoured this book up!! The continuation of Leo and Jill was action packed from start to finish, yet again a book that brought tears to my eyes. The whole book just flowed from one scene to the next and just touched the heart.

Tethered is the conclusion of Jill and Leo's story, which started on Guarded, so you MUST read Guarded before this one.
While Guarded was about breaking walls and reaching into the heart of a damaged man, Tethered is the scorching hot and interesting life of Jill and Leo once they make it as a married couple. Believe me when I tell you that you won't find one boring moment while reading these two; the story basically keeps you on the edge of your seat and biting your nails from beginning to end! Jill and Leo's life is so full of surprises and things they didn't see coming, things that will only strengthen their love and give their lives a whole new meaning of devotion and fierceness.
Leo, our alpha hero, is still a guarded person, a man of few words, but that is inversely proportional to his love for Jill. He would die for her if needed. His actions speak louder than his words and that's great to witness. He protects her with his life, loves her fiercely and will slay dragons for her. As for Jill, she's still the sweet and strong heroine we met before, even though some events that take place on this book will show her human and vulnerable side, bringing to light Leo's huge and doting heart and the infinite length of his love for her.
The story flows seamlessly and even though RC Martin's books are not precisely short ones, you won't notice, I promise! The book is action-packed, not the usual in a RC Martin's novel, with lots of twists and turns that will keep you interested, so make sure you have enough free time ahead of you when you start this one! The sex, as always with this author, is scorching hot! RC Martin knows how to write amazing sex scenes that will leave you breathless and in serious need of a cold shower, LOL!
The epilogue is really sweet and left me with a full-blown smile on my face. There's a well deserved HEA for this couple that left me with a heart full of joy and nothing more! Best of all, the series doesn't end here, and the next installment will tell the story of a very interesting secondary character, Cruiz. Can't wait!
I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good Alpha hero, some action, really hot sex scenes and tons of love thrown into the mix. RC Martin never dissapoints, she's one of my favorites and every time I read her she convinces me more as to why I love her writing!

Tethered continues the journey of Leo and Jill. I knew there was more to tell about them because of the way Guarded ended but this story was absolutely mind blowing. We follow Leo and Jill a year later and learn how they are living as a couple and how they are managing a future. Leo is more guarded of Jill than ever before. I laughed at how he grunts when he’s in alpha mode with Jill. And Jill, she’s as sassy as ever.
The past is back with a vengeance and will do everything it can to keep our couple from getting their HEA.
We also get to catch up with the couple who brought these two together, Ashley and Corie. I love that these beautiful people love each other and are so involved in one another’s lives.
RC Martin writes poignant stories full of romance, hope and love. Tethered brought suspense and danger and worked perfectly in the story. Each story she writes is better than the last and I am amazed at how she makes you feel like you are a part of every page. Tethered captures your heart and soul and binds it with this amazing couple.
If you haven’t read Guarded, I encourage you to start there before Tethered since this one is not considered a standalone.

This is the second book in the Savior Series and book 1, Guarded should be read first.
At the end of Book 1, it looks like Leo and Jill have finally found their happily ever after. But we have a glimpse of what’s to come in book 2 right at the very end. So I’ve been trying to wait patiently for the last few months on this book to come out! And RC Martin doesn’t disappoint!
Things start out great and then suddenly Leo’s past comes back to haunt him putting the one he loves the most in direct danger, Jill.
I love Leo’s devotion to Jill and how far he will actually go to have her safe in his arms again! Leo is definitely the definition of a true Alpha with his tough, gruff and sexy manner and I loved getting little glimpses of Leo’s softer side towards Jill. Leo and Jill’s relationship is so intense! This book has many surprises along the way! So much angst and action that had me anxiously turning the pages until the very end! I highly recommend!

This book starts off nice but quite soon into it things turn sour and you will find yourself on an emotional roller coaster and there is not let up you have to ride it out to the very end. Not to give too much away but things get pretty bad for this couple but their love for one another not only helps them survive it helped me read through some of the darker stuff.
I love all of the supporting characters everyone has a special role to play and they are written so well. Once I got to the end after I took a deep relaxing breath the first time after starting it I just wanted more. More from Leo and Jill, and more of everyone else.
It is very important that you read book 1 first but I suggest you go back to Backwood Belle and get to know Ashley first you don't need to but it will give you more insight into the characters and they are all fabulous you will want to know more.

This book is the second in the series and you do need to read Gaurded first. This is the conclusion of Jill and Leo's story. I won't give more details because I want you to read this book! This is a spin off from Tennessee Grace series, so if you want to know more about the other characters you should start with that series.
Overall Thoughts: This book has it all! Sexy time, action, thrill, and everything in between. As soon as it hit my kindle I knew that I was going to dig in right away and devour this book, and devour I did. We get to see Leo in all his alpha gorly, being the protector he is making him all the more appealing as he trudges through the criminal underworld for the woman he loves. I absolutely fell in love with Leo, the way R.C. Martin wrote his character is phenomenal. And Jill isn't the damsile in distress, she's a strong heroine. All I can say is that this is a must read book!

What a great read! Tethered gave me all the feels. Talk about some angst and anxiety; this book had me from page one. And those sex scenes..wow! R.C did not play around, she gets right to it. This book has all of the categories; romance, mafia, rockstar and more.

Awww, what an amazing ending to Leo and Jill’s story. It was fast paced, action packed, stomach churning, drama filled goodness all wrapped up into this incredibly well written book.
R.C Martin spares no detail. Weaving a tale so incredibly thought out that no expense is spared, every lead is explored and no stone is left unturned as we live through the heartache and struggles Leo and Jill faced.
Questions are answered, wrongs are righted, justice is served and love conquers all.

Tethered is the second book in the Saviors series. We first met Jill and Leo in, Guarded, the first book. Leo proves himself to be very devoted to Jill, doing anything to protect her. Tethered has murder, kipnapping, organized crime and steamy scenes. I enjoyed the story, it was a page turner.

This is the continuation of Jill and Leo's story. I loved them in Guarded and I adore them even more now! In Tethered their love is strengthened by what they go through (if that is possible!). A beautiful story (if I was in tears at times!) and beautiful writing - 100% perfection. Thanks Roslyn, you never disappoint!!

RC Martin does it AGAIN….I can always count on her to write a story that not only keeps me turning the pages, but has me FEELING the story. This story picks up where Guarded left off and I love how far Jill and Leo have come. There is plenty of the sexiness that are Leo and Jill, there are unexpected twists that kept me on the edge of my seat and there are moments that had me in tears. The characters are so well written from main to secondary, you feel the emotions of them all – which is why I was happy to hear we are getting some Cruiz next!
I simply cannot recommend this one enough – but you have to read Guarded first…..

I was waiting this book for over a years then when i finally get it was disappointed. The 50% of the book was fine and hot af, but the other 50% just was boring. I just wanted it end it. The first one is pretty good that's why I was expecting Tethered.

This is the conclusion to Jill and Leo's story. We met them in Guardian. This book was awesome and dealt with a lot after they get married. They have a strong love and it shows.

RC Martin has done it again! Seriously, this one has something for everyone. Romance, thriller, mafia, rockstar, hot and steamy, Leo and Jill. Full review coming soon, but this is another must read from this amazing author.

I don't even know where to start this review. Starting with a ridiculously hot and sexy honeymoon, Leo and Jill don't get a break before the drama and action start. Lovers of romantic thrillers will not be disappointed by this storyline. I could not put it down without knowing what was going to happen next! I will not include spoilers, but, wow - there is just so much going on!
Of course I love the peeks we get into Ashley and Corrie's life. They are the reason I fell in love with Leo and Jill in the first place, but you wouldn't have to have read their books to enjoy this series. We also get a few new characters - one from Leo's past, and his close friend - I am looking forward to more from both of them in the future.
I have said it before, but RC Martin is such a refreshingly different voice. Each of her books is such a treat, full of surprises, and Tethered fulfills every expectation and more!

RC Martin has done it again! Seriously, this one has something for everyone. Romance, thriller, mafia, rockstar, hot and steamy, Leo and Jill. Another must read from this amazing author.
I don't even know where to start this review. Starting with a ridiculously hot and sexy honeymoon, Leo and Jill don't get a break before the drama and action start. Lovers of romantic thrillers will not be disappointed by this storyline. I could not put it down without knowing what was going to happen next! After reading Guarded, I was on pins and needles waiting for Tethered. There was just something about Leo. And add in Jill and these two are a force to be reckoned with. They are passionate, in everything they do.
This story had twists and turns that I did not see coming. The events that happened served to only strengthen their relationship even more.
I’m sad that this is the end of Jill and Leo’s story, but I look forward to seeing them in cameo appearances in the next book that was introduced at the end of Tethered.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and it didn't disappoint! In Guarded you get to see Leo and Jill fall in love and it was epic. In Tethered we get to see a man who loves his wife unconditionally and to me nothing is sexier than a man who isn't afraid to show that. This book is fast paced and will leave you glued to your kindle. R.C. did a great job writing a suspenseful story that will have you totally invested in these two. One click this one for sure!
