I devoured this baby.

I was already all kinds of excited to see just what kind of woman would be able to pull Ethan’s head out of his arse, but once I dove in, I couldn’t put it down. I needed to see how everything would play out with Ethan and Sienna and I was not disappointed (obviously). It was all kinds of fun, sweet and smexy and with just the right amount of drama and eye roll inducing situations to keep things interesting and keep me turning the pages until there were no more words to read.

Ethan and Sienna were a lot of fun and I ended up adoring the two of them. My heart hurt for Ethan and all that had been thrown at him in a very short time, but even I knew that he didn’t deserve to live behind the walls he’d constructed around him. So watching as they started to crumble and the sweet, charming, alpha male ~ who does stick his foot in mouth a few times ~ come out to play was a lot of fun. Sienna was so much fun. What I loved about her was her openness about everything from admitting to being uncertain about her future to her capacity to forgive. And while she was all kinds of sweet, she had a back bone made of steel and had no problem sticking up for herself when she needed to.

To say that their journey to their HEA was all kinds of crazy is an understatement with all the things that decided to rock their worlds, but it was a fun one. From the moment Ethan and Sienna collided the sparks flew. They just clicked and had a flow to them that had me rooting for them to get their issues handled, stop hiding their true feelings and truly make their HEA come true. Of course their respective families meddle a bit *smirk* but in certain situations it did give them both the kick in the arse that they needed and I loved where they ended up with everything was said and done.

This was a fun, quick read with just enough drama to keep things interesting without it getting into the angsty realm. I loved catching up with the Knight siblings and the Dare clan and seeing how they were all doing. And I definitely cannot wait to get my hands on Jason’s book!

~ 5 Finding Myself Again Stars ~

Carly saved the best for last in her Knight Brothers Series. I absolutely LOVED Ethan and Sienna’s story. I thought this was the perfect ending to this series and I loved how she kind of wrapped things up with the Dare Siblings as well.

I was intrigued to find out she was writing a story to combine her Knight Brothers and her Dare series. I thought she blended the two series perfectly.

Dare Me Tonight is the final book in the Knight Brothers Series and can be read as a standalone novel. What I love about Carly’s books is that they can all be read as standalones and in any order. She does a wonderful job filling in where the reader might have questions. So NO you don’t have to read any of the Dare Series or the other books in the Knight Brothers series to enjoy this story. This story is told in Dual POV in the third person. I thought the flow and pace of this story worked well.

In this story we follow Ethan Knight and Sienna Dare. Ethan is the oldest sibling in the Knight family and is the CEO of their family business. He is kind of a shell of a man after some serious turmoil he went through with his late wife. So when his client Ian Dare calls and asks if he can escort his younger half sister Sienna to a business function she is attending in NY, he wasn’t to thrilled. But knowing Ian is an important client he agrees. Little did he know that, that one night would change his life for good. Sienna Dare is a 20 something woman who is trying to decide what to do with her life. After a heath scare as a child, she has always been babied by her siblings. Now that she is older, she wants to spread her wings and really go after what she wants. And after meeting Ethan, she realizes it is him she wants ;) Can these two make a go of it?? Can Ethan lower his walls to finally let another woman in?? Find out what happens when a one night stand turns into something so much more in this story.

I will say I wasn’t sure how Ethan was going to be likable in this book. He came off really kind of gruff and angry in the other books in this series. With a good reason, but I didn’t know if I would like him. I am happy to say I absolutely LOVED Ethan. Yes he was rough around the edges in the beginning of this book, but I loved watching him grow and learning to open up and trust again. I thought Sienna was perfect for him!!!

I loved seeing all of the Dare siblings and the Knight siblings in this book. I do wish we would’ve gotten more of Ethan’s siblings in this story, but it was still nice seeing how they were all getting along after getting their HEA’s.

I would recommend this book/series to all romance readers out there. If you haven’t read a Carly Phillips book, you are really missing out. You need to experience her writing!!!

This was by far my favorite book of this series! Ethan was of course in the first 2 books and although he has been through a lot (I won’t specify what exactly since you might not have read the first book) but he was still super broody and cranky. I also had a feeling I was really going to like him.

Sienna was such a great young character. Mature for her age but cheerful and light hearted. She was just what Ethan needed. Of course I have also mentioned many times before that I love the younger lady/older guy storyline.

This book had a lot more going on in it than the other books. Many more layers to peel back which is what probably made it the best of the series.

Detailed review coming.

Loved both the hero and heroine.
My favorite type of heroine. Sweet, kind, smart and knows her own mind.
Hero is alpha, starts out cold and closed off thanks to his dead wife. But the heroine brings out the best of the hero and he does what he needs to win her love after being a jerk at the beginning.
Heart, emotion and hot chemistry.
The ending was a little abrupt and not the smoothest.
But loved the epilogue.
Loved the family theme throughout the book.

Oh my this book was so freaking good! I've been patiently waiting for Ethan's story and Carly definitely didn't disappoint! Ethan has been through so much turmoil since his wife's overdose. He has stayed away from women, mainly because he doesn't trust them.....until Sienna. Sienna has had her life turned upside down with family drama and she's just ready to live her life she's just not sure what she wants to do. Ethan and Sienna are explosive, sexy and so much fun to read I never wanted it to end. If you love the Knight family and the Dare family then you can't go wrong with this combination!

I've been waiting for Ethan to finally get his story and his Happily Ever After. And I loved that it was with Sienna.

Out of all of the characters, Ethan is the one I have felt the most sorry for. The things in his past (I'm not going to be detailed in case you are reading this as a standalone) make him a little reluctant to open himself up to love and life. Understandably.

I liked this connection. It's not really the focus of the story, the romance was...but, for me, this shared understanding of how fragile life can be, and somewhat opposite responses to it, made the connection feel real to me.

Who better to remind him of what life has to offer than someone who knows how precious it can be, and how easily it can be lost?

I enjoyed watching these characters Cone together, fall in love, and figure out how much they each meant to one another.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Sienna Dare can't decide what she wants to do with her life. So allowing her older half-brother, Ian, to help her by hooking her up with a business themed weekend in New York seems like a good idea. And it turns out to be a VERY good idea when she meets the man who's to accompany her on this business trip of hers, Ethan Knight. He's just the man she wants to help her let go and have some fun for once in her life. That he says it's a one and done and a secret doesn't bother her...much.

But when the consequences of that fun turn out to be the permanent, though unexpected, kind, will Ethan step up even though it could have serious repercussions for his business?

I absolutely LOVE Ethan and Sienna together! Their contrasts were so marked, but really, were part of what make them such an interesting, compelling couple. That younger Sienna made Ethan finally lose some of that intense control, and allowed him to be vulnerable to her, was my favorite part of this sexy, engaging story. Bringing together the Dares and the Knights?! Such a fabulous idea! Now I can't wait for Jason's story, Sexy Dare!!

Another favorite for many that didn't work for me. This just really isn't my reading year at all. 😭 The plot was predictable at best with a pacing that felt very rushed and fast. This almost felt like a novella with how quickly everything was rushed through. The writing came off very flat and hallow, it lacked any kind of depth. Stuff is just easily skimmed over. The world building in particular is very shallow and just not good. I kept tripping up over inconsistency mistakes where characters are described as performing an action twice on the same page or performing actions that contradict each other. Examples: 1. Hero's coat being taken off two times in the same scene. 2. The heroine is described as getting up to stand twice then the very next line after standing up the second time something is being placed on her lap then 1 paragraph later she's described as sitting down as if she was standing the whole time. So on and so on... Stuff like this drives me crazy especially when it happens so frequently. It just comes off very lazy. If you don't care about your story and characters then why should I? 😕 I just have to ask did nobody proof this thing? Jesus. Cause it's riddled with mistakes and continuity errors that are obvious as day. Either get a good editor or find one who isn't sleeping on the job. Carly Phillips is not an indy author last I heard so there is no excuse for this.

Her style of writing inner monologues is also a jumbled incoherent run-on mess:
Before she could fully wrap her mind around what he was proposing, something that hurt but that she might be able to work with – after all, what started out as casual could definitely turn into something more – he spoke again.

Why was it her half brother could merely act like the caveman scary man they feared while simultaneously projecting the fact that he was the caring parent they all needed and they caved, revealing information that never should have been made public?

So yeah not my cuppa. I am a smidge curious about the mysterious brother Jason but not enough. I don't know, the writing is not selling it for me to give her another try right now.

What’s better than the Dare family or the Knight family? How about both together?! Sweet, sheltered Sienna Dare is all grown up, and she’s just the gal to shake up Ethan Knight and usher him back into the land of the living. He's still a bit bruised from a previous betrayal, but it's time his default personality of surly jerk is retired, and Sienna somehow manages to bring out his lighter side without even trying.

There are some tropes that are so overdone it's exhausting, but this author has a way of making me forget anything about the trope. The characters are so relatable and compelling that they pull me in and I’m completely under their spell before I know it. With either of these families there’s never a dull moment, and mixing them together makes for even more excitement, with all the frustration, mess, love and laughter of any big family. I love all of the Dares and Knights and adore Sienna and Ethan together, and I can’t wait to read more!

5 star review l

Although the 4th book in the series, this can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend you one click then all. I believe you may get more enjoyment if you read the previous books first but that is just my opinion.

I am really loving this latest series from Carly Phillips. There is something about her style of writing that I love. The Knight Brothers series ticks all the boxes for me, from Alpha males, to feisty heroines and family love and support.

In this latest addition to the series, not only do we have the Knight family but we also have the Dare’s so for me that was a win/win as I love them both.

This is Ethan Knight and Sienna Dare’s story and though not a particularly long read, it was highly entertaining and ai was captivated from the first to the last page.

Ethan had no idea that doing a favour for a friend would turn his life upside down and throw his plans out the window. Fighting and losing his rigid control Ethan throws caution to the wind for a night of passion with Sienna. Who knew that it only takes one night to change the course of their lives?

The chemistry and attraction between Ethan and Sienna is scorching and intense.

What will happen when Sienna’s brother learns of their night together? Both Ethan and Sienna have survived more than most people and their painful pasts have left them vulnerable.

Will Ethan be able to convince the much younger Sierra to take a chance on him?

I loved how Ethan embraced his feelings and focused on what he wanted. Sierra really didn’t stand a chance once Ethan set his sights on her.

Dare Me Tonight was an emotional, totally hot and altogether great read which I didn’t want to end knowing that this concludes The Knight Brothers series.

Being a fan of Carly Phillips Dare series and her most recent series The Knight Brothers, I was excited she decided to have these two worlds collide and it happened in spectacular fashion.

Sienna Dare has lived her life the “baby” of both her full and half siblings, now out of college she is weighing her option of more schooling or finding her place in the business world when she heads to New York to attend an event and to decide if she wants to accept a scholarship to a program at Columbia by attending a NYC Scholar’ Social where her oldest brother has called in a favor from a business associate to escort her to a cocktail party and show her the city. What Sienna didn’t expect was for Ethan Knight to be as young as he is or to be fiercely attracted to him. A weekend of unbridled passion leads to an unexpected pregnancy with Sienna and Ethan trying to figure out where they fit in each other’s world.

It was easy to see that Sienna was tired of being “the sick one” and “the baby” of the family and was ready to branch out and be her own woman. I liked Sienna but I also felt like her life had been defined by her childhood bout of leukemia and the fact that because of that illness her father’s affair and 2nd family which included her had turned her father’s first family upside down. While it was clear she was smart and capable, I felt like I still didn’t know much about her and I wanted to know her better.

Ethan’s life was turned upside down about a year before when he found out his wife had not only been cheating on him, she was an addict and had funneled company resources to fund her addiction. Her death from overdose and her betrayal has caused Ethan to build a wall around his heart and to not trust easily, but from the moment he sees Sienna she turns him inside out.

I liked that Ethan saw Sienna as the woman she was and I think she liked that he didn’t know her past, he didn’t see her as sick or too young, but as a woman who knows her own mind. Sienna brought a lightness to Ethan’s dark world and while she’d been warned he could be difficult and growly she saw a different side of him. I liked these two together and despite Ethan demanding their time together be kept secret so Sienna’s brother wouldn’t cancel the deal they had going on, I felt he cared about her but self preservation had him saying things he really didn’t want to say.

Their relationship wasn’t easy, finding out Sienna is pregnant has them both reeling for different reasons, add in some family issues on Sienna’s side, and Ethan worried about his contract with Ian Dare, but through it all they supported one another.

Intense, steamy, and filled with emotion, Dare Me Tonight was a fantastic addition to both the Knight Brothers and Dare Family series.

Dare Me Tonight is book 3 in the Knight Brothers series by Carly Phillips. I absolutely LOVE this series! I have been very curious to learn more about Ethan and I am so excited to finally get his story!

This book was amazing from start to finish! I love the characters, the story line and the chemistry between all of the characters. I was hooked from the very first page and dying to know how things were going to work out.

Sienna is such a strong character and even though she is the baby of the family she finally decides to put her foot down and make her own path in life instead of following what her brother has planned for her. Ethan is stubborn, angry and closed off ever since his wife passed away and he found out all of the secrets she had been keeping. Together, the two of them begin to open up and realize that they don't have to go through things alone.

This is a must read series for sure. I highly recommend reading this series in order so that you get the most out of what is going on with all of the overlapping characters. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! By Alisa

H was a jerk at first because he couldn't overcome his ex's betrayals. He only wanted a fling, which he regretted not long after h served him right. Liked how he made up for it.

Could be read as standalone: Although I didn't read any of h's sibilings' books, I got her family dramas fine.

Carly Phillips Knight Brothers bks 01-03

Can't Get You Outta My Head

Ethan Knight has some baggage, but I love how he's immediately drawn to Sienna Dare, despite her being off limits. He has had his alphahole role since his late wife's death down pat. I love watching his walls break down and crumble. The two are very opposite with great chemistry, and she's the right person to get him back to living.

While I don't love that anyone goes through the pain that Ethan has experienced with his dad or his late wife, I do love that we got to see him shed the last vestiges of the pain from Mandy and also start healing from his dad's abandonment.

She clearly wasn’t practiced, but she didn’t need to be when just the touch of her was enough to set him off.
-- Ethan Knight

As is common when a Dare is involved, there are a lot of cameos from the Dare to Love, Sexy, and this series. Prior reading isn't required, but I'd recommend it if you're inclined.

Another common thread, especially when the Florida Dares are highlighted, is Robert Dare brings drama to the mix. It's sad how lacking as a father, spouse, and all-around human being he is. When his latest situation hits the fan, I love and hate how the siblings circle the wagons. I do like how Sienna stands up for herself with them and her father. Her giving her siblings a dressing down made me like her a little more, even if she forgives (too) quickly in most situations.

This has been my favorite book in the series, in part due to the crossover with the Dares. Of course, the biggest part is the hot chemistry between Sienna and Ethan that bursts through the pages. I love their ups and downs and how this starts as her being unable to figure out what she wants to do with her future.

Next, I will catch up with Jason Dare and his buddies, and Sierra Knight and her story. I look forward to more of this universe. 🥰❤️‍🔥

I read along with the audio book. The narrator is Angela Dawe, whom I enjoyed listening to. As each book in the series went along, I found myself liking her more and more. 🎧💛🎧

Narration: 4 stars

DARE ME TONIGHT by Carly Phillips is book Three in The Knight Brothers Series. This is the story of Sienna Dare and Ethan Knight. I have read the previous books but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Ethan is totally focused on being the CEO of Knight Time Technology and really doesn't trust women so that hasn't been a issue for him. When he is asked a favor by Ian Dare another business associate to escort his sister Sienna to a Weekend Scholar black tie social related to a business program, he goes forward to do so. What he doesn't count on are the sparks and feeling that Sienna break forward in him. Sienna has never had such an attraction to someone one before which along with her protective family has kept her innocent. But their attractions brings more than a disapproving brother.
Loved their story and this series.

I just knew once we got to know the brooding and grumpy Ethan Knight it would be not only swoon worthy but purely magical and who would have thought it would come in the petite package of one Sienna Dare. That's right! We are brought back into the Dare family for this one and it is wonderful to catch up with them. The one-night stand that ends up with the surprise pregnancy brings both families together and since they end up working together they can figure things out. I definitely recommend this one and even if you haven't read any of the other books in both series, you will love this one!

I loved this story so much! Tropes galore, and it was so fun seeing our old favorite Dare family in this Knight family series-ender.

Ethan Knight is the oldest of 4 siblings, and CEO of his family's technology company, but he has had a terrible year. A year ago his wife died of an accidental overdose. Apparently she was an opioid addict, after becoming addicted to pills after surgery. She was also embezzling money from his family's business, as well as cheating on him. And he didn't know any of it until she was already dead. She had been handling a huge project for the company out in California, and he was in NYC, so they had been distant before she passed, but that didn't lessen the shock at all. He's been in a perpetual sour mood ever since, which his family understands, but are finally starting to lose their patience with. He's been working hard to rectify the mess she made in California, while keeping all his other important projects running smoothly. He needs something to get his head back on straight, or he's going to drive everyone he loves insane. Enter a most unexpected surprise.

Sienna Dare is the baby of her family, of both her full, and half siblings. She survived childhood leukemia 15 years ago, thanks to a bone marrow donation from her half-sister Avery. But that whole episode blew up both their families, as their liar of a father was exposed for having 2 families, and everyone was left devastated. She's just graduated college, and is debating going to get her MBA in NYC. Her oldest half-brother, Ian Dare, calls in a business connection to be Sienna's escort for the weekend in New York, to explore the school, attend a reception there, and see if she's interested in living in the city. She expects it to be an informative weekend, and hopes it will make her decision about whether or not to continue with school easier for her. But, she doesn't count on Ethan Knight.

Sienna and Ethan had a strong connection from the first glance of each other, though neither of them were what the other was expecting. I loved their banter, and their easy discussions while they got to know one another. Both knew that they could only have one night together, regardless of what they each wanted. Ethan has a huge contract with her brother Ian, and he can't let anything derail it. Also, they live in different states, and Sienna still doesn't have her life or future figured out at all. But, of course, best laid plans often go awry, and they created something that will link them together for a long time to come.

Sienna was the first virgin heroine this author has written, to my knowledge, and I loved how believable it was that she still would be at 23, after the way her family was, and her childhood illness. She wanted to find the right guy who made her feel she was ready, and after spending the evening with Ethan, she knew he was the guy she wanted to be with for the first time. Their attraction was hot, and I loved watching them connect in a deeper way than they expected. Of course, there was a surprise baby, which was so fun, and I loved seeing her brother Ian's reaction to it all. His book came out many years ago now, but he's always been a favorite. He can be an overbearing jerk a lot of the time, especially as concerns his family, but he loves them so much. It took a lot for him to accept and truly come to care for his half siblings, after everything that happened, so I adored seeing his newly forged connection with Sienna, and how he began to treat her just as he did his other 2 sisters, for better, or for worse.

Ethan made some big missteps in his dealings with Sienna once he showed up in Florida. I cringed at times, and I was glad when Sienna wasn't just willing to take what he claimed was all he could give her. She knew she was worth more, and she let him know it. I like that even though she was young, she wasn't a pushover, and she never settled. Her family also made some errors in not trusting her to be the adult she was, and still trying to baby her when they shouldn't. She really worked hard to let everyone know that she could handle whatever life dished out, and that she expected to be treated equally with her siblings. Seeing most of the Dare clan, as well as the Knight family from the prior books, was a total delight, and I loved the way this book closed out the Knight family's series, as well as setting up a new series with the final untold Dare story, that of Sienna's brother Jason. He lives in NYC and owns a popular nightclub with his best friends. His story sounds so intriguing, and I'm looking forward to it next!

Ethan is the CEO of the family business Knight Time Technology. He has a painful past which has left him questioning his own judgment when it comes to women and isn’t about to let anyone close enough to repeat that experience. When a business associate requests that he escort his sister to an event he agrees and views it as a business arrangement rather than a date.

Sienna has a painful past of her own which has left her with trust issues when her world as she knew it self-destructed. Due to her past her siblings have always protected her and she is looking forward to a new stage in her life which will include independence and freedom where people don’t know her past.

Neither Sienna or Ethan could deny the chemistry between them and believed that they could enjoy their time together and move on with their lives. When life throws them a curveball this could be the biggest challenge that Ethan has ever faced as Sienna is not willing to accept anything less than everything.

Hot chemistry, witty banter and two characters who are in for the surprise of their life!

I have been anxiously awaiting Ethan Knight. I knew there was a growly, misunderstood, semi broken man under all his barking at his siblings. And I couldn't wait to see who would break down his walls. Sienna Dare is his perfect no holds barred match. She is done with secrets and hidden agendas. I adored them! From the first moment they see each other until the last word, there is such great chemistry between them. Carly Phillips has out done herself with their relationship. Yes, it's a fast moving one but when you know, you know. Then again circumstances make them see reality a little clearer. Bringing back the Dare Family is also fantastic. Seeing them all again warmed my heart.

Cute ending to the trilogy.
Ethan is the most jaded brother, so I was happy to see him fall for someone and start being happy again. Sienna is a great girl and deserves someone to treat her well. I love that she stands up for herself and won't accept being with Ethan if it has to be a secret, especially after the situation with her parents. This started off with a bang, jumping right into the steamy romance. The plot moved quickly and they have great chemistry together.
The epilogue was great and I like seeing the Knight siblings in their happy ever afters.

Dare Me Tonight takes on the remaining Knight brother, Ethan. A man emotionally damaged by his deceased cheating wife, his barricades would give Fort Knox a run for its money. Yet, no amount of emotional armor Ethan can create has no impact on the way Sienna enters his life and his heart.

Sienna has her own emotional baggage, an illegitimate child of the patriarchal Dare and the single person in the middle of the revelation of her father’s double life. Although Sienna had no control over her childhood illness, it was her critical condition which provided the necessity to reveal the second Dare family to the original and therefore tear a lot of people’s worlds apart. However, Sienna has not let the negative aspects of her life define her, rather she takes the optimistic route and as a result, brings light into other peoples darkness. Something Ethan hasn’t had in a lot longer than most people realize.

While the relationship between Sienna and Ethan begins as a one-night deal, there is no denying the pull they feel to each other. Although Ethan does behave like an arse at times, you can always tell his heart is in the right place.

Although the ties between Sienna and Ethan begin with what would feel like an obligation, it is quickly apparent that the result of their one-night is a catalyst to something much more profound for both of them.

I loved witnessing Ethan return to the man he really is before the toxicity of his ex altered his perception of himself. I also adored the cross-over with the Knight and Dare families allowing a glimpse at the future of the characters we have grown to love with each of Carly’s books.

Dare Me Tonight (The Knight Brothers; The Dares) by Carly Phillips

Two powerful families collide and create unforgettable romance. Carly Phillips sets off sparks with Dare Me Tonight. It's only fitting that the Knight series ends with a Dare. Sienna Dare finally comes into her own in a big way and drags Ethan Knight along for the ride. From tragedy comes a firework set to ignite bookshelves and hearts everywhere.

This series has been a guilty pleasure of mine from the moment I discovered these characters and this author's brand of storytelling, but when I realised that the latest book was a 'surprise baby' scenario, not even jet lag could stop me from devouring it like a woman possessed. The heroine is fresh out of college, and still trying to find a direction in life. While in NYC at a black tie corporate event meant to help her decide what career to pursue, she meets a business associate of her brother to whom she is immediately attracted. They end up spending the weekend together, thinking they'd never see one another again once she returns home, but things get complicated when she discovers that she's pregnant, that the baby-daddy is in town and determined to claim her once and for all, and that he could lose a massive contract once her brother finds out that he slept with his little sister. A delicious little treat I loved!
