Behold! The plot lurches forward again. After 19 volumes Pin finally gets character development! Kazehaya's homelife gets fleshed out, even if some elements are just dropped into place and mentioned a dozen times even though nobody ever brought them up before.

Could the series be heading towards a conclusion? Will Kurumi ever reappear? Will Joe get a face?

Find out in Volume 20.

I realize this is a romantic story, but I really enjoy when the romance is not quite the focus and we get glimpses into everyone's lives in a nonromantic way. This was one of those volumes and very much enjoyed it!

Pin is definitely not who I thought he would be! He's such a great teacher and absolutely love how he inspires and annoys his students. LOL!

I think for a younger person that this story really conveys the importance of choosing a career path of your own choosing, and not just based on what you THINK you want to do and/or know. Pin did a really great job making his students think deeper and it made me (briefly) wish I had had a teacher to encourage me like that. Sometimes the "safest" path is not the BEST path.

Now I should mention that there IS romance, and as always, I really enjoyed this one! It was very sweet and special. So happy for them both, though that ending! :o That was a little bit…unexpected.

Pin... who would have thought he would became such a nice sensei? He has Sawako in such high esteem, it is touching.

I got a little bit emotional with this volume. It happened too with the last volumes of Lovely Complex, when all friends have to think about their future and about getting separate. Maybe because there were some memories showing

Ahhh it is so easy to read this manga... When it seemed I read only a couple of pages I realize I come to the end

Sawako and Pin are my top two favorite characters in this series. Given that, when they're trying their best to be serious, they still end up as the ultimate comic relief duo.

Watching them try to figure out what they want to do after high school is making me a little emotional. I love Pin, the talk he had with Sawako was 10/10. He’s such a silly character but he really is a good teacher.

What was that ending though???? I knew Kazehaya’s dad was harsh, but did he really hit him?

Pin is actually a really good teacher and I'm starting to genuinely like his character. I mean he's still really annoying and it's kind of weird how involved he is, but he sets boundaries and cares about them and it's sweet.

[Read more at my blog, Geeky Reading!]

This series is just perfect. I’m practically just repeating myself with how much I love this series at this point. Because I do.

It’s New Years Eve and Sawako’s birthday now, and all three of the couples are still settling into their relationships. And they’re all super adorable. Sawako and Kazehaya are my favorite, and they’re super cute and sweet, and they hold hands. Chizu and Ryu are slowly getting back to normal, with Chizu prone to freak out over everything. Ayane and Kento are probably my least favorite, although I still really like Ayane. Something about them together just isn’t quite working for me, or at least isn’t making me overly excited. Kento is being really sweet with her, though.

We saw quite a bit of Pin in this one, and he was actually really helpful to Sawako, and pushed her in a good way. We also got to find out some of his backstory, and why he decided to become a teacher. That was surprising, and really nice. His and Ayane’s attraction had dwindled the last few volumes, but it was kind of there again in this one. Their interactions are generally just entertaining, but they’ve also been helping Ayane to grow and see things, which is good. Even as just friends, I like seeing them together.

Then school starts up again, and the group are all pushed to make life decisions after school. Sawako is surprisingly the only one who hasn’t really thought about it, and I’m looking forward to her making a decision later. The others' decisions made sense, although it seems like most of them are still getting used to what they’ve decided. Which leads us to the end of the volume, which was a very surprising cliffhanger. And it makes me really excited to see what happens in the next volume.

This is just one of my absolute favorite series. It’s sweet and girly and just blissful. I love it.

I have less and less tolerance for Sawako. She started out cute, now she is plain boring.
"Every one is moving forward" she says in her soft voice, her eyes wide and sparkly, blushing at her own thoughts.
Well, that's the thing about graduating sweety -if you hadn't already figured this out, it takes you forward...

I thought she was painfully shy and introverted but now i realize that she's slow. It's okay to take time figuring out complex feelings or inner conflicts but too much is too much. She just admitted to herself that she was in love in this volume. 19 volumes to come to that conclusion. What is the author doing?!

It seems like every book is about building up her thoughts so she can draw a conclusion on her life. It's all about patience for the reader and i'm not up for it.

We're heading for the 20th volume. How is that even possible? 20 volumes of awkward talks and blushing. I can't.

(I realize that Goodreads isn't probably the best place to vent about a manga - or a book in general, but i'll still post this here and see later if i'll move it to some other place.)

Ah! Career planning. -_-
No wonder Pin is on the cover. Good to see, that this volume sheds some light on the character Pin, and others are interviewed for their future. All the couples in this series are slowly moving forward. Now that they have one year of high school left, their romance is building up slowly... which is a bit boring and it makes me more curious for what happens next chapter or the next volume.
Parents and Child Meeting.. *shivers* Shouta's fierce father.. *shivers*
This series is a bit slow but at some point everything happens so fast that in a blink of an eye it is all over and something new stirs up. Let's see what happens next!

Things get more serious. It's about how the characters plan to move on after high school. Some are undecided, some have chosen, others have had it planned by family. Apart from falling in love, discovering oneself and building friendships, the manga finally tackles an important question all teenagers are faced with: 'What do you want to do in the future?'

Holy crap, what a cliffhanger! I can't wait to read the next volume, but I can't yet! *weeps* The big focus of this volume was on their future. That stuff's scary when you're young. Who am I kidding? That stuff's scary now, too. This is such a great series.

WAY TO LONG!

SERIOUSLY It takes way to long for the romance to start between them. It's so annoying.

Don't tell me Pin knows what he's talking about? Career surveys and everyone makes some decisions regarding their futures. Interesting that this is done before the last year of high school.

Noooo, no, noooooo.

3/5 The main focus shifts away from relationships and onto our heroines plans for the future in volume 19.

It's a decent volume but there's little drama or much going on. Pin get's some time to shine and honestly he's grown on me over the course of the series.

The cast spends their time thinking and talking about what their plans are for once high school is over since next year will be their senior year. Sawako discovers she never really gave it much thought.

Pin on the boy's on the cover this time around.
