I read this on my Kindle and found the format difficult to follow. The thoughts and conversations all ran together and I couldn't tell which character was saying what. The story line was okay, but predictable. I liked the future husband posts but they dwindled away as the story went on.
Russell is broken. Why in the books I've read then men who are broken hearted turn to any and all women not committing to one. He is ruining his reputation. She has been around the block in a different way. Searching for forever has never been so hard. Meeting Russell should of put a stop to her search but after learning of his aversion to happily ever after she may have to let him go. Russell may lose a second chance at happiness if he doesn't move on from his grief

I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought Anaya was a strong woman who knew that she was not finding what she was looking for so she used the posts to remind herself that it was okay to want to be treated well and not to settle. I also liked that Anaya and Russell had to work to get to the point that their relationship embodied the hope that her posts indicated she was holding on to.

I really liked this book. It was cute; there was just a bit of drama but nothing that hard work couldn’t overcome. At the beginning, Anaya and Russel’s relationship had me thinking he would be just another date but he turned out to be the real deal. I think a lot of us have an “ideal” man or what we want our future husband to be like... and that is usually not what you end up with! It was right in front of Anaya and she finally figured it out.
4.25 rounded down to 4 stars. I really enjoyed this book, I wish it was longer though! There were a few transitions between scenes that seemed really abrupt and I thought the ending/epilogue was kind of rushed, but otherwise, it was really good! I was initially drawn to the cover...love me a beautiful man in a well tailored suit!! *fans self* I'm so glad it drew my eye when I was browsing through Kindle Unlimited books. I will have to check out more of J. Nichole's books in the future.
I was looking forward to reading this; unfortunately it wasn't what I expected. I found it a little dry. The formatting was weird and at times I wasn't sure who was speaking. I didn't really feel it between the two main characters. It was just rather blah to me, I hate to say.
I'll still read other books from this author; I've enjoyed her work before. This was an anomaly, I'm sure.
I wanted to fight Russell because it was like fool want getting it he was so passive at some points. Like man you better go get your woman and stop playin. Anaya let stuff slide for too long without checking him. I'm glad that both grew up tho lol Oh Veronica boo you had us chance and blew it so move around.
I loved this version of single parent dating and it's the dad juggling all of the relationships. Anaya was a little on my nerves being so "green" about kids and dealing with the ex and his job. Russell was doing the most and she was tripping. This was a good easy read.
This was such a breath of fresh air. It's not the typical love story it has more depth. Dealing with issues with jobs being stressful to baby momma drama. I like how finally in the end Russell was able to find his balance with his job and his girls so everyone is happy.
I don’t know but the chemistry between Anaya and Russell was off. It just felt like they both could take it or leave it with each other. I didn’t feel a sense of urgency, a sense of I can’t live without you, it just was blah, blah. There was nothing organic about the relationship. Their energy was just off the entire book. It was a struggle to read.
This was a cute romance the characters were really good. I liked Anaya's #'s and that over came her fears to experience love. Russell was a good guy glad he stood up to his ex. Good quick read
I love how Russell and Anaya put forth the effort in their relationship for it to last despite Russell always traveling for work and dealing with crazy baby momma drama.
This book has a slow start but if you can make it to the half way point it balances out. I put it down and came back to it after a few days and finished it. I liked that stereotypical female character traits were reversed to the male in this book
Whew Chile! I lived what Anaya went through in real life. There are so many real life Veronica’s ruining good men. I’m glad Anaya was able to love Russell through the journey.
First book by this writer and boy I am so impressed. Her book are so relatable and believable. Totally enjoyed ever single page and I look forward to reading the other stories
Anaya had failed relationships and made a list of things she wanted in a husband. After dwtes she posted on Facebook her hashtags. Russell comes along scorned from his past. Csn they make it work or will the past ruin another relationship.
Loved loved loved truly a wonderful read i hoped those two would get married I said they're a match definitely just had to work with the long distance he had great parenting as well
I enjoyed the story. I found it to be entertaining and accurate to what s going on in the dating world now. I like the twist that HE was the single parent.
