Some good main plot progress. The harem just keeps on growing and it’s beyond ridiculous!!!! But it was an interesting volume, which started with a big info dump!

Volume 19 is one of those volumes of a series where so many big things are happening that you honestly can’t put it down until you realized you’ve read 90% of the book in one or two sittings. The first 150 or so pages here are so fantastic and so bombastic that I just found myself turning each page in a hurry as I gobbled up each and every plot development like I needed it yesterday. Wow.

In brief, we have a second run in with Graphite Edge and Trilead Tetraoxide to provide us the information we needed on The Fluctuating Light and how it relates to what or why Accel World (or Accel Assault 2039) was even created. While much information is gained much information remains elusive. Additionally, we saw that the nature of the legions change/will change in a way that left my jaw dropped/dropping.

Beyond that a second adventure through the Castle was fantastic and the scattering of battles were incredible. I enjoyed them immensely and I further enjoyed the focus on the four/five relevant characters in the major moments of this volume.

Overall, this will be one of the best volumes of AccelWorld.

Characters! A good volume with lots of character interaction and less action.I did like seeing the cast grow, both in depth and numbers, but I'm starting to lose track of which "real names" belong to which avatars

This book makes a nice change from a lot of the recent books, it's not an entire book of "No I'm the worst and saddest person"
