It’s hard to find historical romances that take place in Africa (in fact this is the first one i’ve seen that wasn’t in Egypt) so i enjoyed that aspect of this, and the love interest was sexy (a cover illustration would’ve been nice…).

but why does the heroine make the worst possible decisions at any point, and their chemistry was not that good IMO
