「言葉（スペル）による戦闘を宣言します」小学６年生の青柳立夏は、２年前に兄・清明を殺され、唯一の理解者を失ってしまう。そこに、かつて清明を主人（サクリファイス）として戦っていた「戦闘機」だという我妻草灯があらわれる。清明が「ななつの月」という組織に殺されたことを知った立夏は、草灯とともに戦いに挑み、兄の死の真相に迫っていく。

About the author

Kouga-sensei's real [maiden] name is Risa Yamada, and she's married to fellow manga-ka, Tatsuneko, who's real-life last name seems to be "Kimura". Her drawing style is to draw the facial features before drawing the head itself in this order: Nose > Eyes > Mouth, or Eyes > Nose > Mouth, you get the idea. Yun Kouga states she usually makes a title first, then comes up with the story as she goes. Quoting:
"At the start. It (story?) is based on the title."

She wears glasses and loves to take strolls and her favorite manga anthologies are Shueisha's Shonen Jump and her publisher Ichijinsha's magazine COMIC ZERO-SUM, which is a magazine which has stories that combine both shonen/seinen and shoujo/josei elements, but is ultimately categorized as a “josei” magazine.

Yun Kouga has stated that she was going to use the pen-name “Jun Kouga”, but ultimately changed the given name to “Yun” because she felt it was more “original” and “creative”.

She does the character designs for Studio Sunrise's anime series Gundum 00.
