This is book 3 in the Dangerous Protectors 3 book series by Debra Webb and Regan Black. This book chronicles the relationship between Nate, one of the Protectors and Claudia, everyone's go to person at this clandestine agency. This agency is so secret that the people working within the agency don't even know each other. All the protectors only know Claudia because she makes sure they get all the intel they need on their cases. Nate has always loved talking to her and has had quite a few fantasies about her voice. Claudia, on the other hand, has always been the nerd and, she always believed, the plain one. When Claudia receives a panicked note from her ditzy sister and goes off the grid, the head of the agency notifies Nate and sends him after her. That's when the fun begins because, you see, Claudia has been having fantasies about Nate, too! This book is fast-paced and the kind of book you don't want to put down until the end!

When Claudia Mitchell received a distressing call from her sister Diana, Claudia knows she can't ask her employer, the Guardian Agency, for help. But she can't do it alone, so she turns to the Brotherhood Protectors, so it won't be problematic. Her email to her boss saying she had taken a few days off didn't have the expected results. They sent Nathan Jennings to "Protect" Claudia. It seems that Diana's latest career move as an investigative reporter has landed her in even more trouble than Claudia had initially thought.
Nathan was excited to meet Claudia in person, but I was ecstatic! Ever since we met her in the previous Guardian Agency novels, I found her so intriguing, I was dying to know everything about her. It's no wonder Nathan had half fallen in love with her over the phone; she's an expert tech assistant, she has a wicked sense of humour; and I'm so pleased that Regan Black did her justice! Claudia likes him too, and I feel it was an ideal way to pave the way for the romance. All the ingredients were there apart from not knowing what the other looked like, the Guardian Agency being extremely secretive, even where their own personnel is concerned. There is so much chemistry between Claudia and Nate, and I loved that they did their job efficiently in spite of it.
NATHAN is absolutely riveting; it is a true romantic suspense, and I loved that the reader doesn't know what is going on any more than the protagonists do. Few authors can make surveillance as interesting as Regan Black does in this book. It's all in the brilliant dialogues, as Claudia and Nate discuss the case; the author knows how to use every moment to the plot's advantage. I loved that Nathan really wanted to know her, not just get in her pants. The romantic interludes are perfectly timed, and provide small breaks in the almost non-stop action. Regan Black he has another winner on her hands with NATHAN!

Claudia, the voice on the end of the telephone who takes care of the Protectors, leaves suddenly for home after her sister calls and says she is in trouble. The owner of the Guardian Agency knows Claudia is going to need help and sends Protector Nate Jennings to look out for her.

Nothing to Lose is the third book in the Dangerous Protectors series by Debra Webb and Regan Black. It is the story of Claudia Mitchell who has been in the background helping the agents in the other Dangerous Protector books. Claudia Mitchell is the expert technical assistant with the Guardian Agency living in Omaha, Nebraska. She used to work for the CIA in computer forensics but that isn’t public knowledge. Everyone thinks she works for a cyber-security company. She was recruited in college because of her cyber skills. She has always been considered the nerd since elementary school with her love of books and computers. Nathan “Nate” Jennings is a Protector with the Guardian Agency. He currently lives in Minnesota but was raised in Chicago. Both of them have been employed with the Guardian Agency for a very long time but have never met. There has been a great phone rapport between them including some flirting. Claudia supplies backup to the Guardian agents when they are out in the field. She loves her job and enjoys it very much as does Nate. They are good at what they do.
Diana Mitchell is Claudia’s sister and four years younger. Claudia changed colleges and moved back home to Brookings, South Dakota when Diana and her parents were in a car accident that killed their parents and left Diana in ICU. Claudia has always taken care of Diana and that includes getting her out of all the messes she gets herself into which seem to be often. Diana has gone through many different career choices; model, actress, singer and currently has turned her communications degree into an investigative reporter career. Claudia receives a vague call from Diana telling her to use her phone GPS to locate her and come help her. A man is keeping her from leaving the location she is at which is north of their home. Then the call is disconnected.
Claudia gets her gear together and sends an email to her boss (none of the employees hired know who he is) letting him know she has to return home and help her sister. This is the first time she has ever taken a vacation while working for the Guardian Agency. Her boss being well-connected is aware that there is a man in the area close to Claudia’s home on the FBI’s watch list and is bad news. He wonders if this man has something to do with her sister’s problems and that Claudia may be walking into a trap. He calls Nate and assigns him to Claudia’s case to protect her and help her in any way she needs; whether she wants it or not.
Wayne Larson is a wealthy philanthropist and is on the FBI watch list. Diana was doing research on Larson when she disappeared. He has been buying up land since he moved to town and has fooled the town with all his good deeds and money. They think he has an organic farm and hosts nature retreats which has brought money into their small town. Everyone has been talking about a Mitchell-Larson merger and how lucky Diana is to have snagged such a wonderful man. But at least one person from town knows things aren’t quite as they appear. Bill who grew up with Diana and Claudia, and has been a truck driver for Franklin Supply since he got his license, knows what he has been delivering to the compound is not used in organic farming. He has heard some of the other local guys talk about what they have seen too. Bill has always had a thing for Diana and is very worried about her himself.
You have to read Nothing to Lose yourself to find out what Claudia and Nate uncover and whether they can get Diana out of the compound safely. This is a very enjoyable story and I ended up reading it twice! Debra Webb and Regan Black make an awesome writing team.

The head of Guardian Agency is aware that there is a problem in the area where Claudia is headed. So, unknown to Claudia, he assigns Nate to provide protection to Claudia.
From there on we have danger, suspense, spies, romance, and threats to National Security.

Book #3 of the updated Protectors is worth the read. We finally meet the mysterious voice of the agent’s technical assistant and so does the protector that has had a secret crush on the voice for years. This is a match made of danger, suspense and bullets flying that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Guardian Agency: Nathan is a great story and a must read!

This book was so amazing and I could not stop reading until I could figure out what was going to happen next!! Hate and Claudia were so prefect for another!! The chemistry was hot and slow building! I highly recommend 4th s book!! Regan is amazing author!!

I have been reading Debra Webb's Romantic-Suspense book for a very long time and she is an auto-buy for me. She writes with Regan Black in this book, and together they have come up with an excellent series. Nothing to Lose is the third book in the Dangerous Protectors series. However, if you haven't read the first two, this can be read as a stand-alone without any confusion at all.
Claudia Mitchell is the Tech Expert for the Protectors, but she runs into problem herself. Her little sister is being detained by someone (she doesnt't say who) in their home town. So Claudia takes leave to take care of this. Her boss suspects a trap, so he assigns Nate Jennings to help her. What I love about this agency is that no one gets to meet anyone else or get any information about their lives. Therefore, Claudia and Nate have never met - they have only spoken on the phone to each other, Still Claudia doesn't want Nate helping her because she is attracted to him. He too feels the deep attraction, but the two of them work very hard to try to find the answer to what is going on in this small town. And, of course, fall in love.
I enjoyed this book so much that I read it in two days (unfortunately work interfered). There are many twists and turns in this story that, even though we find out WHO has her, it takes us a while to figure out WHY. The fun part is that even though Claudia and Nate have never met, they have always felt the chemistry over the phone and have flirted constantly with each other.
This is a very quick read and a sweet love story for those who don't like the quick,graphic sex in a lot of today's books. Even if that doesn't bother you (I read those also), it is nice to read a story like this. And if you haven't read the other books in this series, I heartily recommend them.

A decent read
The storylune was pretty good. A few typos/word errors were there and a little distracting but overall not many so didn't impact the nature of the story.
The story itself was good. Not an extreme amount of details, the ending felt rushed and glossed over a bit. Still not sure what Claudia's full issues were with coming home - just being a nerd/geek did not really explain her vehemence against going home.
How did she escape? Diana showed up and "poof" she was ajle to help get them out when she couldn't figure out how to leave before??
The villian was portrayed and this person with all these connections, plab, etc but he seemed more like an idiot in how he let them escape. It just left a lit of open questions and seemed like, ok I am done writing lets make everything magically wrap up.
Again, most of that was at the end, but up until then it was ok, jot great but ok.

Claudia Mitchell is the computer expert for the Protectors. She makes sure they get whatever they need to complete their mission. Claudia receives a phone call from her sister asking for her help. She can't solve her sisters problem with a computer so she has to go in person to try to find and rescue her sister. Claudia is Nate Jennings technical assistant, and after listening to her voice in her support role he has had fantasies about her for months. Now Nate has been assigned to go help and protect Claudia. Claudia is not interested in having any help. When she realizes Nate isn't going anywhere she reluctantly accepts his help. Claudia and Nate are both attracted to each other but both are trying to resist the attraction. The books action keeps you reading and love the chemistry between Claudia and Nate.

In the third book of Dangerous Protectors it's one of their own that needs help, she just doesn't know it. Her little sister has gotten herself in trouble again. The only time she hears from her is when she needs help. Claudia takes off and Nate, is sent off to protect her by the owner of the agency. Nate has always loved the sexy voice on the other end of the phone and when he sees her finally, it's love at first sight. Claudia has always loved the voice of Nate, harboring secret fantasies about the man with the smooth, sexy voice. But how will she react when she figures out that he has been sent to help her help her sister?
Again another winner for Debra Webb and Regan Black. They write a great romantic suspense on their own but put them together and it's a guaranteed great read.

This was definitely my favorite book in the Dangerous Protectors Series. I loved Claudia. She reminded me so much of Garcia from Criminal Minds I could just picture her behind the computer with mad skills just like her so I could totally relate because that is one of my favorite shows on TV. I also liked Hate better then the other Protectors for some reason. I found myself unable to put this book down and actually read it all in one night. As I said I loved the characters and also the story last line in this book. It was well written and was just a really great book. I am not going to go into spoilers but they mystery in the book was well thought out and was pretty interesting. This was definitely worth five stars.

When coming to her old hometown to help her always-in-the-middle-of-drama younger sister turns out to be much more than the IT-support genius Claudia Mitchell bargained for, she will need all the help she can get to survive, no matter how much Claudia wanted to just fix the latest problem with her sister by herself.
Not only are the painful childhood memories overtaxing her mind, but the attraction to the smooth-talking Nathan Jennings is stronger than she was prepared for. All Claudia wants is to fix the problem and never return but life rarely delivers what we want.
For a novella length story, the author has managed to deliver a well-developed tale with character development and exhilarating action.

While their lives are threatened and there is no guarantee none of them will survive, Claudia and Nathan are drawn to each other and desperately fighting against it and the possible consequences of their actions.
I enjoyed the story and the intriguing puzzle of the kidnapping and possible terrorist operation happening right there in a backyard of Claudia's childhood home. The action is fierce and fast, the tension is tangible, and the threat is real, setting the reader on the edge for most of the story, delivering an entertaining, twisted, vehement tale of fervent suspense and ardent romance

Not only are the painful childhood memories overtaxing her mind, but the attraction to the smooth-talking Nathan Jennings is stronger than she was prepared for. All Claudia wants is to fix the problem and never return but life rarely delivers what we want.
For a novella length story, the author has managed to deliver a well-developed tale with character development and exhilarating action.

If you’ve been reading the series, then you know Claudia’s role in the Guardian Agency. Well, this is her story, and it’s an edge of your seat, fast-paced action tale. After a frantic call from her sister, Claudia’s returned to her hometown to find out what’s going on and, if necessary, save her sister, even if it’s only from herself. Nathan, one of the Protectors Claudia’s job supports, has been sent to provide Claudia back-up and protection, if needed. From the start of their association, Claudia and Nathan felt a special attraction, but when they meet face to face their feelings become reality. While Claudia’s determined to find out what happened to her sister and what’s really going on underneath her peaceful hometown, Nathan’s determined to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. As they get to know each other, their feelings grow deeper, but when they discover the possibility of an eco-terrorist’s plot, it may be more than just their hearts on the line.
This is an exciting and captivating read, filled with plenty of action, drama, and slow building steamy passion. The characters are well-drawn and engaging, and the storyline draws you in from the start, keeping you interested and involved until the very end. It’s a very enjoyable and entertaining romantic suspense. I highly recommend this very appealing book and series!

'We've done it by phone a thousand times. It can only be better in person'
Claudia knows that Nate means investigate, but her dirty little mind has her thinking....dreaming...hoping. Claudia maybe super organised and intelligent on the other end of the phone, but in person her attraction to Nate sucks all common sense and co-ordination from her. She needs to concentrate, to save her sister, but she can do it alone...can't she? Having got to know Claudia as the assistance at the end of the phone, it is nice to actually be able to put a face to the name and seeing her confused and a little rattled makes her seem more human and less intimidating.
Nate was already smitten with Claudia when she was just a voice on the end of his phone, in the flesh she knocks him to his knees and makes him want forever...he doesn't do forever! He calls her the Angel of The Guardian Agency, but her just wants her to be his angel. Can Nate keep his mind on the job long enough to keep them safe and rescue her sister, or will his naughty thoughts prove too much distraction and cost them everything?
I really enjoyed this Guardian Agency book it has humour, danger, steamy bits, intrigue and lots of will they/ won't they!
I read this on Kindle Unlimited and I am hoping for many more books in the series!

We finally get to meet the voice on the end of the phone, the one who organises the Protectors and the logistics of the operations.
Nate went to jail and was offered a deal by the lawyers who work for the Protectors Agency. He got out early and is one of their best field agents. He flirts with Claudia, safe in the knowledge that they'll never meet. But when he is given a protect order for Claudia he is determined to make sure his assignment goes without a hitch.
However, he did not count on Claudia having CIA honed skills and a dogged need to find and protect her sister. She is stubborn and wants to keep her family problems private. But she'll soon realise that the Agency see her as family and they'll do whatever they can to assist.
Fast-paced, witty and hot as hell! Claudia is no wilting female, she's perfectly capable of taking down her enemy single handed if she has too, she has a real problem with accepting help! Nate is very self-conscious of being an ex-jailbird, even though he was not a bad guy. He wants Claudia to see him for who he is now and is sure that his past will could her impression of him.

Another book by Regan black she has always, wrote these books that keep me intrigued love them from the beginning to the end this one Claudette works for the guardian agency and she takes all the phone calls all the necessary business at the head of the realm as I will call it sends all the agencies out on all the orders that come in to protection .what not needs to be done such an amazing Stories she does if you haven't tried any of Regan books you should pick them up try them see what everyone's talking about. Claudette is going to go undercover on her own to try to help her sister Diana only it doesn't work out that way Nathan ends up showing up together they take down the bad guys and turns out things heat up along the way..
I love these stories I don't like giving a lot a way in my reviews but I will tell you I haven't ever picked up a book of this authors and not loved it they keep you on the edge of your seat .suspense not knowing what's going to happen next so I suggest picking up one of her books giving it a try seeing if she's your style you won't be sorry you did I love Regan's books always have..

Nathan: Brotherhood Protectors World is by Regan Black. This book is part of a great series where the best in man is exposed and the heroism of the soldiers is not easily disputed.
Claudine Mitchell is a technical assistant to the brotherhood members. She does whatever she can do to help the men who are assigned to her. She is their only hope in the midst of their work and she remains only a voice on the phone or radio. While there was a break in the projects, she receives a personal phone call from her sister who is in danger. Without telling or asking her boss, she sends a text telling him that she is out for personal reasons and heads out to protect her sister. She heads out; but has to head back to Brookings.

Claudia Michell is the faceless flirty tech/logistics support for a number of Guardian Agency operatives. She's the lifeline at times, someone to commiserate or laugh with and is always at their beck and call. In other words, she excels at her job. Nate Jennings islong time Guardian operative. They saved him from a life behind bars. It's been a learn as you go proposition but he's gotten very good at what he does. Now suddenly being able to put a face to the name and vouce he's been flirty with for years seems to good to be true. Claudia is his case. Going to help her sister after receiving her desperate call is a no brainer for Claudia. Having to return to the town sh thought she'd left behind isn't something she'd wished for. Having Nate at her back gives her comfort but stirs up her emotions. They prove to be a good team but as they learn they're facing a daunting foe. A man, who left unchecked, could possibly change the course of history. Along tne way these two finally give into their feelings now they just need to survive the mission to get their HEA.

Claudia is the computer genius super for the Guardian Agency of investigators and protectors. She played a supporting role in the first couple of books in this series, so it was delight to open the first chapter and see her name in this book. (When reading a series, I generally don't read the blurbs or any information about the new books. Once I start a series, I like trying to guess who will be the next male and female main characters as much as it's possible to guess. I was so happy to have previously mused that I wished she would be a future love interest!)
The mystery suspense element of this book was pretty interesting.
I had a really good time reading this book. The pacing was very swift, and I got sucked into the story pretty easily. I've read a lot of the Guardian Agency off-shoot series at this point, and while I enjoy the short format and bite-sized stories, I think this author does better in a slightly longer format like this book, with enough time to really explore the characters and complicated story.

Holy smokes I absolutely loved this book. Nathan is a protector and claudia works as the tech for the Guardian Agency and when claudia gets a phone call from her sister asking for help claudia takes off not wanting to worry anyone and thinks she needs help but when The Guardian agency head honcho sends Nathan on a protect case he doesn't believe it's with the woman he has feelings for but things get out of control and we get to see a sneak peek of Hank and Bear from the Brotherhood protectors group. I absolutely loved the storyline and characters and it was actioned packed and romance and chemistry and just so much to keep you hooked from page one until the end.

I loved, loved, loved the fact that she knew Hank and we got to see Bear, be it a short moment :)
I like that fact that we didn't have a whiny stubborn pigheaded female or male! Although in the beginning I wanted to tell Claudia to shore up and use that fantastic brain. She must of read my mind, because she did and then off to the races we went! Action, hot male, smart and brainy female,suspense, some hot loving in a cold setting :) Thank you Regan Black for the opportunity to read this arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own and unsolicited.

Finally & Forever
I actually enjoyed this book a Lot more than l expected even though Rega Black & the Brotherhood Protectors World are my firm favourites. For Nate and Claudia they had worked together but had only spoken on the phone, but each was wildly curious about each other.
When her younger sister gets into another jam, Claudia takes off after Diana, Nathan
takes off after Claudia to try to work out and stop the danger before it gets worse.
But it gets worse!
I would Highly Recommend this Author to Anyone and Everyone who loves Romance,
Action and a Damn Good story! Enjoy! I know l did!
