"Change in itself is often neither good nor bad. It’s what we do with the opportunities that come with change that counts.”

“Chasing the Dream” by Andrew Grey is a heart warming story about recognizing and appreciating the real from the fake of life. The author delivers a powerful story with a very important life lesson. I was pulled in by the characters and the plot and at the end I was a very satisfied reader.

Brian Paulson has always lived in the lap of luxury. He has never wanted for a single thing in his life. He has money, cars, friends to party with and an enviable trust fund to fuel his life of extravagance. After the death of his grandfather, Brian loses it all. As per the instructions in the will, Brian needs to go through tests which will determine his inheritance’s fate. He has to live and work hard like a normal bloke to earn the money required for his daily living. As soon as the news of his dilemma spreads, all his so called friends abandon him. Now he’s on his own. The only person who helps Brian during his unfortunate times is Cade McAllister. Cade is a hard working guy who works two jobs for a living while also selflessly trying to support and provide for a better future to an older brother who has a mind of a 7 year old. Cade gives Brian a place to live on his couch and helps him keep a job. He becomes the only support and a likely idol for Brian. Brian’s feelings for Cade develop slowly as they share the same roof and get to know each other more. Brian admires Cade and definitely wants more than friendship with him. But Cade is reluctant. Brian is from a completely different world than Cade’s and he is afraid that when Brian gets his old life back, Cade will get his heart broken. But through all the struggles and the new life lessons learned by Brian, the couple gets to their HEA and it was glorious.

I liked Brian a lot. He is a spoiled rich kid but he had never actually got the chance to live a life other than the one he had. His grandfather’s will gives him a push to better himself and Brian passes the test with flying colors. This read was a journey of Brian’s realization of the hardships of life and how to use his status and money as a privileged individual, to give back to the community. Brian had a lonely childhood. He never got to know his mother. After her death, his grandmother was his only consolation but even she dies a year later. His grandfather never got over his daughter’s death to mend the bridges with his grandson while he was alive. But he knew that Brian was the only redeemable member among his shallow family to take over the responsibility of the huge Paulson wealth. Brian fulfills his dream to belong to a family who are there for him and not for his money. I respected him for his efforts to help Phillip and the other less fortunate people just like him. For a 25 year old rich brat, learning such a valuable life lesson and then turning his life around for the better within a few months was remarkable.

Cade was sweet, gentle and a kind soul. His love and care for Phillip was admirable. He had a hard life, still does and he works hard without any resentment. Cade was the perfect role model for Brian. He was hard working and resilient with a great love for his family. He is proud of the hard work he does and does not let anyone give him shit for his working class status.

I enjoyed the journey of the MCs throughout this wonderful book. I have read one or two books by this author in the past and I am kicking myself for not reading more. I will definitely look out for his future works from now on.

All in all, this book is sweet, non-angsty and a lovely read where two guys from completely different walks of life come together and fall in Love while “Chasing the Dream”.

“The greatest gift is to be loved for who we are.”

Chasing the Dream
A story that looked at first sight as a bad movie. Loosing everything you owns.
It was kind of sweet, it was....but there were lessons in it who were valuable.
A spoiled rich boy (Brian) and his opposite the hardworking poor boy (Cade)
When Brian rich life falls apart he found his savior in Cade. Both have their own problems.
Brain is lonely and feels unloved, he thought he had many friends but ones he is out of money and house and car he has nobody..... except Cade. Lovely warm helpful Cade his lifeline.
Cade has a brother, Philippe, with special needs and Cade is working his ass off to fulfill those needs. Philippe is just lovely and find in Brian another brother.
Brian and Cade grow to each other. They are sweet and endearing. But both have doubts about the future
Brian is challenged by his just deceased grandfather. A man who wants to learn his grandchild a lesson.....a hard lesson.....a life lesson.....
The way this is developed is just enlightened and for the best interest of all

Sometimes you have books that could have been so amazing, but fail spectacularly.

This was one of those books. I loved the premise, but it was written with so little emotion, it felt as if I was reading a newspaper instead of a romance novel.

These guys had no chemistry at all.

Brian is a spoiled brat, has been all his life. He has more money than he can spend and throws parties every night. One day he accidentally stops a mugger from getting away and that’s how he meets Cade, the guy being mugged. Cade is grateful for Brian’s help because if the mugger had gotten away he wouldn’t have been able to buy food that week.

When Brian’s grandfather dies he is informed he has no get through a test before he gets any money at all. Brian is confused and angry at his grandfather. He has no money, no place to live and no job. So he goes out looking for a job to start. When he is hired at a health spa, he runs into Cade again, who works there too.

Cade offers him his couch to sleep on because Brian has nowhere else to go. It is clear Brian’s friends were no real friends once they found out he’s no longer rich.

The two form a tentative friendship while Brian is staying at Cade’s. It is clear Brian has no idea what it’s like to be poor, but he’s trying to help Cade where he can…

I didn’t like either Brian or Cade. Brian was not as spoiled as I thought he would be, but it kept being emphasized that he was. His actions and thoughts told me he was caring and thoughtful, but Cade kept telling (attacking) him about him being spoiled. It felt very fabricated.

Cade could have been nicer to Brian, instead of blaming him for being rich. Since we only got Brian’s POV, I never felt connected to Cade, so I had a hard time understanding him. I don't care if someone is rich or poor, it's how you treat people that makes you the person you are. And I was not impressed with Cade..

The romance was very underdeveloped. There was supposed to be this slow burn I think, but I just felt completely bored. There was no chemistry. No, oh how I want you!

I felt angry when I was finished that it wasn’t better, because it could have been..

*** Terrific tale with a great ending ! ***
Brian has just lost his grandfather, and the rest of the family are vultures. In a condition of the will, spoiled Brian must prove he can do several things to inherit his fortune. Cade is saved from a beating by Brian, and they meet again at Cade's work, a restaurant. Brian's cards won't work, his assets are frozen. Cade helps Brian and takes him in. Brian discovers the extent of his grandfather's tests. Brian tells Cade everything and they become friends, and then friends with benefits. Neither man can get the other off his mind. Cade helps Brian get a job. Brian's old friends ignore him now that he's broke.
This is an interesting tale of a grandfather who helps his grandson find his true inner core. It's beautifully written. Lydia the Lawyer, and mentally challenged Phillip are marvelous side characters. Our men have great sexy times, and do communicate well. Cade is amazing, caring and big hearted. Brian learns a lot about himself and how he can turn his life around. This is a terrific, low key, smooth flowing story with people you will hold in your heart.
Highly recommended ! ENJOY !

Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Brian Paulson has lived a life of luxury and ease. If he’s been left lonely because of his family’s pursuit of wealth and their own happiness, he figures it’s a small price to pay for what he sees as most important: money. Cade McAllister has never had it easy. He works two jobs to support himself, his mother, and his special-needs brother. They don’t have much, but to Cade, love and taking care of the people who are important to him mean more than material possessions. When Cade is mugged in the park, he can’t afford to lose what little he has, and he’s grateful for Brian’s intervention. Cade is given a chance to return the favor when Brian’s grandfather passes away, and Brian’s assets are frozen. Cade offers Brian a place to stay and helps him find work, and the two men grow closer as they learn the good and the bad of the very different worlds they come from. Just as Brian is starting to see there’s more to life than what money can buy, a clause in his grandfather’s will could send their relationship up in smoke.
Brian has just lost his grandfather, and the rest of the family are literally vultures, and that doing a disservice to all the bird-type vultures. There is a condition in the will, that says that spoiled-rotten Brian must prove he can do several things in order to inherit his fortune.

Cade is saved from a beating by Brian, and they meet again at the restaurant where Cade works. Brian finds that his charge cards don't work, and that his assets have been frozen. Cade helps Brian by taking him in. Brian continues to discover the far-reaching extent of his grandfather's many "tests". Brian tells Cade everything and they become more than merely friends, they're soon "friends with benefits". Neither man can stop thinking about the other. Cade wants Brian to stay so he helps Brian get a job. During this time Brian discovers just how good his old friends were since they all now ignore him since he's basically broke.

This is an interesting story about a grandfather who helps his grandson find his true inner self. It was beautifully written...but I would expect nothing else from Andrew Grey. He is a terrific writer; one of my favorites in these genera. Lydia the Lawyer, could have used a bit more work to make her appear less mentally challenged, but Phillip was a marvelous character. The two guys have some hot sexy times, and they actually do communicate often and well. Cade is amazing, caring and big hearted. Brian learns a lot about himself and how he can turn his life around. This is a terrific, low key, smooth flowing story with people you will hold in your heart.

Review:
Brian has never worked a day in his life and takes everything for granted. He is a player of sorts and drinks and likes to party all the time. He gets news his grandfather and needs to make life adjustments. I did not care a great deal for him to start

Cade has to work two jobs to make ends meet and help out his mother and older brother Phillip. I adored Phillip. He is challenged and loves to color.

I loved Cade and his personality. He doesn’t let much bring him down. He is close to his family and loves with his whole heart.
At a time Brian hits bottom, and everything he knows is pulled from him, he finds out who his true friends are and who will be there for him. When he gets the help of a complete stranger his world changes.

Brian and his family are not close and he feels they don’t care about him or he isn’t important. He does what he wants and doesn’t care about anything except having fun. When these two meet and their worlds collide, Brian relies on Cade for support. They build a good solid foundation of friendship then love. I loved how these men felt real with insecurities and all. I have not read a lot by this author, but I plan to in the future.

A rich guy having to “slum it” so he can learn the value of money and the meaning of friendship is, in my book, as much fun as a poor man suddenly finding he is rich. In this story, Brian Paulson is a spoiled rich kid who has never worked a day in his life, lives off a trust fund his grandfather set up for him, and surrounds himself with friends who are after a good time. He is a good guy deep down – but it takes the extreme of losing all he has and needing to learn how to survive for him to find out what he is made of. ‘Chasing the Dream” is his story – it pulled me in and didn’t let me go until I had read the epilogue. Brian and Cade are complex characters, the plot is intriguing and has a few twists that made me smile, and the ending is about as perfect as it can get.

Brian is not very likable at the beginning. He is rich, spends his life going shopping, and pays for parties and entertainment his friends attend. I don’t think he likes himself very much either, but, from what follows, it becomes clear that he has never actually considered who he is and what he wants. As he goes through the trials his grandfather has set up for him, he begins to think about what he wants, who is really important to him, and what he will do with the rest of his life.

As it turns out, Brian has never had a very good relationship with his parents. Most of his family are horrible, arrogant, selfish people, and the “friends” he has are only around for the money he spends on them. The minute all of that is taken away, as per his grandfather’s will, none of them so much as talks to Brian any longer. That alone is a pretty hard lesson to learn, but on top of that, Brian now has to earn some money if he wants somewhere to live and something to eat for the next month.

His one saving grace is Cade, a man Brian helped protect from a mugger just before his grandfather died. Cade is poor despite working two jobs, but he has a heart of gold and is determined to help Brian find his feet. They are attracted and eventually begin a relationship, but Cade doesn’t let that interfere with helping Brian. He is tough and demands that Brian learns to stand on his own two feet. Cade teaches Brian what real friendship and love mean by example, and Brian turns out to be a good student. But not everything is as easy as it seems, and dear old grandpa has a few surprises up his sleeve… surprises that destroy Brian’s newfound balance and push him to make a decision about the fundamental principles he wants to guide his life.

If you like stories with events and people that challenge the main character to change and grow, if you believe that love and support can come from the most unexpected direction, and if you’re looking for a read that is full of tough challenges and almost impossible tasks, but also provides some funny, tender and heartwarming moments, then you will probably like this novel as much as I do. I loved it from beginning to end!

Brian is a rich boy, a trust fund baby. He's never had a real job and he likes to drink, have no strings attached sex and generally just throw his money around on his friends and his partying. But when the rug is pulled out from under him, and he loses everything he'll see who his friends really are.

Cade has never had an easy life. Raised along with his special needs brother, by a single mother, he works two jobs to help keep it all afloat. Working to support himself and help support his family too. He is barely keeping his head above water. But when he meets down on his luck, Brian, his generosity prevails. He helps Brian out when he hits rock bottom.

First I'll tell you what I thought worked.

I liked the slow progression of their relationship. They take their time going from strangers, to friends and eventually to lovers. It was gradual and seemed realistic. I loved the premise of the story and that the storyline had meaning. There was a lesson to be learned, it's not just about these two men falling in love. The story is so much more than that. It's about seeing your faults, learning who you are and how to put others needs ahead of your own. I adored Cade's brother, Daniel. He was so sweet I just wanted to give him a big old bear hug.

Now, on to what sadly didn't work for me.

Most times when you read a book the dialogue flows naturally, for me, this just wasn't the case with this story. I could almost picture the author sitting at the computer typing at times. The dialogue felt forced, and some situations felt like they were created just for fillers. For example, Brian and Cade attend a cookout and Cade enters into a conversation with a woman at the cookout about how and where to find a good man. Then suddenly he is surrounded by other women wanting the same advice and even one of the guys they'd dated. The scene didn't work, and I wasn't really sure what to think of it. Also, at times I felt the dialogue was overly dramatic, and lacked feeling, leaving the words as just that, words.

I just didn't really connect with this story. But it was still not a bad read. Brian and Cade had a good chemistry and they worked well together. I'm sure many others will enjoy it, it just wasn't for me.

When Brian Paulson's grandfather dies he takes with him the comfortable lifestyle Brian has been living, setting stipulations on how Brian can earn back his condo, car and extremely large bank account. Standing on the street with no money, no car, no place to live and nothing but the clothes on his back... all the people in Brian's life that he called "friends" turn out to be worthless and Brian is forced to turn to a man he barely knows for assistance.

A walk through the park doesn't end well for Cade McAllister. Thankfully, the hot guy in the nice suit trips the mugger and stops him from running off. So when said hot guy is down on his luck, Cade is more than willing to return the favor. As days become weeks, Brian begins to question the life he was leading, the life he thought he wanted. He begins to look at Cade in a different way, begins to want more than just a simple friendship. But when you have two men that come from completely different worlds, do they really have a chance at happiness.

I believe this book is set in the same universe as the book Planting his Dream by the same Author. The stories are similar, two men thrown together by circumstance, completely different lives and backgrounds, and yet they manage to find a balance. I really liked the aspect of the story where Brian had to learn to live all over again. Used to having it all, getting what he wants with a snap of his fingers, he has to learn to survive on pennies and wear clothes from the Good Will store. He also has to face the fact that the people he considered friends were anything but, and learns that the hard way when one of them belittles him in public. Cade was a spitfire, not giving Brian any special treatment, but also not being hateful or demeaning. It was a joy to watch their relationship grow and evolve.

If you are looking for a book that will both engage and intrigue you, a book that will leave a smile on your face when you reach that last page, then you should grab a copy of Chasing his Dream.

Andrew knows how to tell a story that pulls you in and I loved it. The characters were great. At first of course I didn't like Brian. He was the rich guy who used his money to get what he wanted. Once his grandfather dies and the will is read, Brian find himself in a situation where he needs the help of his friends. Of course they are only his friends when he has money. This is where Cade comes in. Brian helped Cade out and now Cade is willing to help Brian. He gives him a place to stay and it grows from there. Cade is great, he loves is family and works 2 jobs to help out. His brother Phillip is challenged and he needs special help. The relationship grows but not too fast where I felt is was rushed. Brian finds himself questioning everything and comes out the other side a better person. His grandfather gives him a gift and tells him to follow his dream. He does and it is a great ending. He comes to realize his dream is to fulfill someone else's. There was no angst in this story and I found myself not needing or wanting it here either. It is a great plot and I found myself tearing up a couple of times from the pain in Brian's life and they way Cade does so much for everyone and nothing for himself. Brian and Cade are great together and at the end of this , I wanted to know about what happens. This is must read for anyone who likes a love story where 2 people who shouldn't fall in love do and make it work. Received an ARC for an honest review from publisher. I love Andrew Grey’s writing. I always have but Chasing the Dream is by far my most favorite book of his he’s ever written. Take that as HUGE because I adore his work. Where do I begin with this book?
Brian had everything, he was richer than rich. Never wanting for a thing and never knowing what a hunger pain was.
Cade grew up with wondering where his next meal would come from, caring for his special needs brother, and an ailing mother. He worked for everyone else his entire life.
Then fate brings them together and what happens from there had my mind in a spin, my heart fluttering, tears pouring down my face, and ALL. THE. SIGHS.
Rich man saving poor man is one of my favorite tropes. But in this instance it was poor man save rich man, then rich man save poor man. It was fairytalish in a way but there was so much reality to it it didn’t become at all cheesy. Brian and Cade’s characters were phenomenal in every way. Andrew wrote them flawlessly. And Phillip? Outstanding. I don’t know what research Andrew did but he nailed it. I’ve read many special needs characters that are very much written as carbon copies of each other, reading Phillip was a treat. The love Cade has with his brother is heartwarming and often brought me to tears.
The evolution of Brian and Cade’s story was breathtaking, emotional, and justified. Yeah, it felt like justice in the end and that was what I loved most about it.
So, yeah, this is the best Andrew Grey book I’ve ever read! Huge bravo! This is a must read. One of the best books of 2016!

Per me è ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

This was one of the better books from Andrew Grey, I read. The blurb had me interested immediately and I spent a hefty amount of money, for an author, I often struggle with.
I am not sure why, but Andrew Grey`s writing does not work for me. It feels somehow cold, distant and unemotional. It`s like typing down the stories to earn a living, without a real interest in his main characters.
And to a certain extent, this book gave me those vibrations again.
The story is well thought through (maybe a little too calculated), it is all I would wish for in a gay romance and still, it did not reach me, like I thought it would.
So probably it is rather my problem and I should finally accept that Mr. Grey just is not "my" author, unfortunately, I really like his ideas and the blurbs for his stories.
So maybe I keep trying, but definitely, I am not going to spend so much money again, for a book that was, in the end, an okay read for me. 3 stars and if you like Andrew Grey this might definitely be a good option for you.

Cade is given a chance to return the favor when Brian’s grandfather passes away and Brian’s assets are frozen. Cade offers Brian a place to stay and helps him find work, and the two men grow closer as they learn the good and the bad of the very different worlds they come from. Just as Brian is starting to see there’s more to life than what money can buy, a clause in his grandfather’s will could send their relationship up in smoke.

Review:
Chasing the Dream seems to be a stand alone novel. I am not sure if this is the start of a series or not. I enjoyed this story. It reminded me of some of my favorite movies, “Trading Places.” Where the rich guy is forced to make his way with no money. Always a great story line also used in the movie “Arthur.” In this book the plot takes on the twist of the main characters being gay males. Brian has everything money can buy, but he is a lonely man with no ambition or direction. He has surrounded himself with so called friends that stay around as long as Brian is buying. After the death of his grandfather, Brian is left homeless and virtually penniless. A chance encounter has him meeting Cade, a man who holds down two jobs to make ends meet while trying to save money to get his brother into a program for adults with special needs. Seeing something special in Brian, Cade takes Brian into his home while he tries to figure out what Brian’s grandfather is trying to accomplish by taking everything away from him. Cade is so warm and easy going. Always with a bright smile, Brian slowly finds himself slowly growing more and more attracted to Cade. The ending is sweet with a few surprises. The pacing is pretty fast. This is a relatively short book, but we get to see how the characters develop and learn to Chase their dream.

Brian Paulson has always lived a life of luxury; he’s never had to work a day in his life.
Cade McAllister has never had anything; he’s had to work hard for everything he has ever wanted.
Brian lives a very idyllic life, he doesn’t work, he doesn’t really do much of anything except party and go out with his “friends”. Until one day he didn’t have anything, no money, no condominium, no fast car, nothing! And then, Brian had no “friends” either!
Cade lives from pay check to pay check. He never has any money to waste on anything. Cade works two jobs just to get by, by day Cade can be found working in a health club and by night he can be found waiting tables at Bartolome’s. When Cade isn’t working he’s looking after his developmentally delayed older brother Phillip so his mother can go to work.
Cade and Brian meet the day of Brian’s grandfather’s funeral. Cade had just had his wallet stolen and Brian turned around into the thief stopping him so Cade got his wallet back. That night Brian and his “friends” are at Bartolome’s for dinner with Cade as their waiter, when everyone left and Brian was paying the bill he discovers that none of his cards work. When he discovers that he also no longer has his car or his condominium Brian discovers that his so-called “friends” have no interest in helping him so he’s now for all intents and purposes, penniless and homeless!
After meeting Brian for all of a couple of minutes, Cade is the one who comes to Brian’s rescue and offers him a bed for the night. The next day when Brian meets with his grandfather’s lawyer he discovers that everything has been taken from him to teach him a lesson. The fact that his grandfather worked incredibly hard to earn the money that Brian spent like it was water. If Brian wants to inherit something meaningful he has to get himself a job, not ask his family for money, take what he has left over at the end of the week into his lawyer to show her he really does have a job.
It’s a huge wake-up call for Brian.
And so starts a time of discovery for Brian.
Cade offers to allow Brian to stay with him even though he only has a sofa for him to sleep on. Brian really doesn’t have any other options so he accepts and then he finds a job at the same health club Cade works at. Because Brian can’t get into his condo this means he doesn’t have any clothes to wear so Cade takes him clothes shopping at a second-hand store! Brian had no idea they even existed!
Please get your tissues ready! Andrew has done it again! The twists and turns of both Cade and Brian’s lives once they’re intertwined are truly eye opening. Some you expect and then there are others that come up and smack you on the back of the head and you just have to have a good cry! I’m not going to say anymore because I will be spoiling the book for everyone and you all need to read Chasing the Dream!!

Loss, Learning, and New Beginnings

The death of his estranged but still beloved grandfather creates a tailspin in Brian Paulson’s life. Everything he’s always taken for granted as permanent has suddenly been revoked based on the last will and testament his grandfather left behind. Only by following the directives of the will through its executor can Brian put his life back to the way it was.

With a disabled brother in need of care and only he and his mother to provide for him, Cade McAllister is used to long days, short nights, and working his fingers to the bone.

Fate puts these two men together twice, and Cade’s big heart doesn’t allow for anything less than stepping up to help the clueless-to-reality Brian on that second encounter. The question is whether Brian is capable of success even with Cade’s assistance.

There were aspects of this book that I really liked, but there were a couple for which I didn’t particularly care. Brian’s efforts to follow the will’s directives created empathy in my heart. Andrew Grey is amazing at creating empathetic moments, and he most definitely succeeded in this novel.

The plot was solid, but there were aspects in varying subplots that didn’t really mesh due to the brevity of the attention given to them, creating a choppy feel to the whole. This choppiness was added to by a timeline that jumped sometimes by hours, yet other times by days so that the reader can never really get settled in any given pattern.

Brian and Cade are beautifully fleshed out and well written characters. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Cade walk Brian through his new reality, and I felt the abject disgust that Cade tried to keep from showing when Brian’s clueless snobbery came shining through. The development of the main characters throughout the book was well done.

I was disappointed, however, in that the executrix of the will was supposedly a very dear friend to Brian’s grandfather, yet she was completely unknown to Brian, and that her pivotal role in the book came across as more perfunctory than anything else. I thought a stronger bond would have developed between this character and Brian as they walked through the will, but it didn’t happen, making the scenes with her and the recordings of his grandfather feel more an addendum than a truly integral part of the whole.

The chemistry between Brian and Cade is solid, and the ending was incredibly beautiful, leaving me with the feel-good heartspace that I have noticed always comes with an Andrew Grey book. In the end, I’m rating this at 3.5 stars, and I’ll be rounding it up to four for sites that don’t accept halves. Chasing the Dream is a sweet book of loss, learning, and new beginnings!

REVIEW @Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words

I realized it was some time since I’ve read an Andrew Grey book, surprisingly, because he was one of the first mm author I devoured when my obsession with the mm romance began. That’s why I was enthusiastic to read Chasing the Dream, I liked his stories in the past and I was happy to discover I still enjoy what Andrew writes.

Chasing the Dream is the story of two people who couldn’t be more different: Brian, a very rich young man who had never worked in his life, spends the days partying and drinking. With an almost non existent family, no one really worries about him. Cade has not enough time in his days for the various jobs he does to support himself and help his mother to care and plan a future for his brother with special needs. An act of generosity brings the two men together and their lives will change forever.

Two big hearts collide and what I got was a lovely story. I soon connected with Cade from the start, he’s an amazing guy, supportive and welcoming toward Brian, basically a stranger, but someone who desperately needs help and Cade is there to teach him what real friends and family do for the ones we care about. It took me awhile to learn to love Brian too, but when the spoiled rich man disappears and a beautiful, unselfish person takes his place, it was impossible to me not to start to cheer on him and the perfect HEA. Chasing the Dream was easy to read, quick, well written and with well developed characters, main and second ones. I liked the plot, light but with a depth that caught my heart and let me shed some tears at the end.

The cover art by L.C. Chase is great, especially cause it perfectly fits how I pictured the Mcs in my mind.

Eh, not a bad book as such, but Brian was kind of annoying, and all the family-issues,
Cade was cute, but oh, so good And everything is honky dory!
Also the romance fell flat for me, I didn't quite get the attraction between the two, nothing was mentioned before they kissed the first time, other than Cade was cute.

I just read it and it felt really empty i didn't feel the chemistry by the Mc's and at the end it was almost a fairy tail with all the money flying around and Brian doing everything right.
.

This one didn't work for me, i have read better books by this author.

this was an extremely boring story. mc1 25 has never worked, Gramps dies cuts off money. he is helped by mc2 who's working 2 jobs to help out his family he shows mc1 ropes of life. xxx -⁴ did not care for this at all and neither MC made me care one iota about what was happening in the story.

If not for unforeseen circumstances Brian and Cade would have never met. Brian helped Cade and in turn Cade saved Brian. This was one of the best Andrew Grey reads to date. To read about the transformation of a spoiled rich man, with no real purpose in life, to a man with a dream was great.
