This is one of Ms. Grant's older books, so I didn't get the shock and awe that I am accustomed to with this one. However, it did put my damn nerves in a knot!! Why the hell was every character a got damn mess???? 👀 Especially you Brick, cause what in the world were you thinking laying up with that heifer? On some get back, that was wrong as hell!! 😤 Kiana, how you a bad bih in every sense of the word except when it comes to Brick? You really let him back after all that? 🤬

Avalon is Miss Jekyll and Miss Hyde, cause what??? 🤯 Mr. Calvin showing back up after all them damn years looking like new money! Uhhh sir..... I don't think so. It was entertaining for sure, but lawd they drove me crazy!!

Really enjoyed this story! Clifton & Kiana have been together for years and have built a life together. When Clifton jeopardizes it all, will Kiana forgive him so they can put their differences aside to team up, and take out the ones threatening their livelihood? Ki is a what one would consider a thoroughbred, and Clifton immediately regrets crossing the love of his life. Loyalties are tested, secrets are revealed and the madness goes back generations! Highly recommend, this story was very entertaining and gave never a dull moment.

Like mother like daughter

For better or worse does NOT equate stupidity!! That's the only word I have that adequately describes the women in this book. Kiana's husband did the same thing her ex had gotten caught up doing and what did she do? Took him back. But turned and tried to judge her mother for being equally dumb. 🙄

Her mother, the supposed Bible toting Christian welcomed the man that abandoned her over twenty years prior with open arms AND sex as if he'd only been gone for ten minutes. Really??? Is this supposed to be an acceptable form of love for women?

And please explain why EVERY chapter of this book is full of word for word repeated content of the previous chapter?

This book had so much potential but in the end it did nothing fit my reading palate.

Listen!! This book was good! It has everything from erotica to violence to revenge to love! Brick was on my nerves at first because how do you cheat with the same woman your wife ex boyfriend did!! I’m glad he got shot! Then Charmaine was a mess like girl I get jealousy but doing all that just to hurt someone because you have mommy issues makes zero sense but I know some of these people in real life so not far fetched at all!! The momma shocked having to go thru the same thing with Charmaine’s mom and her husband cheating on her was like woah! The rat got everything they deserved I do wish we had a part from him to see exactly why he did what he did or if he was in love with brick and couldn’t show it?! The momma shocked having and daughter being pregnant at the same time was super cute over all I loved this book.

Ruthless

Now this is a good read. It captured my attention immediately and I read it straight through. I couldn't even imagine the twists and turns that the author came up with. And they were solid, unexpected, jaw dropping! I'm glad that Brick and Ki fought for their marriage, even though I felt the pain that Ki went through. I loved all the characters in this book, except Charmaine. I can't deal with insecure people that front as friends, all the while wanting to be you and see you fall. And still Ki rose above that. You really have to read the book to understand her strength. That ending was wonderful. I don't like series books but I wouldn't mind reading more about the Bricks' new life, and especially those adorable little girls.

Octavia Grant is an auto read author for me, if she writes it I will read it. I am well aware of the wild rollercoasters she enjoys taking us on but this book was different from what I was used to. I love blood and gore the blood and gore so to get a little love was unexpected but not at all unwelcome. This book is the cause of my needing a new Kindle as I threw it across the room but I have no regrets

Ruthless Behavior is a wild mix of gangster grit, mystery, and an unexpected love story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Brick, a man deep in the world of drugs, murder, and fast money, never thought love was in the cards—until he met Kiana, a boss in her own right. Their chemistry is undeniable, their hustle unmatched, and their world dangerous at every turn. Loyalties are tested, secrets unravel, and the stakes are life or death. This was a WILD RIDE!!

I just didn’t like it. I don’t know if it was the narrator that I didn’t like and that made it worse, or if it was the betrayal/reward dynamic that annoyed me. Maybe a combo of both. But to be fair, I’m not a big romance reader so I found all of it annoying. It was a bigger part of the story than I thought.

I love it

I haven't read a book this good in a while it was gangster, mysterious and a love story all together. I love that their love was so strong that the were able to get back together. And I love the twist and turns of the story. Great book could stop reading it

ALMOST ROMANCE

We all know OG doesn't do romance but this was less triller and more romance than ice grown accustomed to. The story all around was great it just lacked the CRAZY im used to.

I don't think I can keep reading these books. Similar themes and maybe it's the kindle versions but the grammatical errors kill me. Interesting story with connecting some dots but I'm good for now.

This book may have had a chance to be a decent read but the narrators were horrible!
