I enjoyed this book but for a short story it took them an awfully long time to get on with it. It’s well written and I would definitely read more from this author.
Both main characters are above the age of consent and not related as the title would leave you to believe. I didn’t really like that he had multiple liaisons with other women and I would have liked to see some future scene of them together.
This is a smutty hot little read.

The story's simple. Val's 'niece' has come to stay with him for several months while she relocates - I put niece in parentheses because he's not her blood uncle. Just a good friend of the family that has known her since she was itty bitty and was always considered like an uncle. Layla is 18 while Val is 35 and Layla is certainly not the little girl he remembered her as. Layla has an enormous thing for Val and many of her innocent gestures and actions are really because she badly wants to seduce him.
Poor Val, he's practically drooling over Layla but he keeps trying to keep it together and do the right thing. It was fun to watch him slowly weaken and eventually just abandon social morays and get with Layla sexually. Their sexual tension was palpable and I found some of it to be humorous with him getting more and more desperate to keep some kind of decorum and having it drive him near crazy to drink, incessantly watch porn, hide out in his room - anything to not just take Layla straight off the bat. I liked the pacing and that it didn't run into a 'wham bam, thank you ma'am' straight out the gate. Layla was determined and Val was a whipped man from the get go, just took him awhile to stop fighting it.
Easy short story to get into. Titillating in watching the sexual tension ramp up and slowly erode one wall at a time. A fun read with likable characters.

Val was only letting his niece stay with him as a favor for the family. His niece, Layla was not really related at all, but he still said she could stay and he has no idea. Val had no idea how much she had grown.
Layla was excited to be staying with the man she referred to as uncle. Layla has been thinking about him for awhile.
This is a short story about two adults trying NOT to become a couple because of big age gap? or maybe because they refer to each other as family. Anyway, the author clearly shows the young ladies intentions through writing her actions of way to make Val happy. Once the finally wall crumbles the steamy stuffs happens and the scenes are hot!

No storyline or relationship, but lots of sex
Well that was definitely not at all what I was expecting. I mean, if you want to read porn with no storyline, this is definitely for you. Also, if you’re into taboo romance, minus the romance. It was literally just a lot of coming and then randomly ended with no conclusion. There’s no relationship, no explanation of how things between them either progress or fall apart, but there’s a lot of masturbating and sex.

Layla got my nerves in this book but overall I wasn't bad. I liked how they didn't immediately start hunching, they built the tension and resisted. I would've liked to read from her point of view too but other than that I don't have any complaints
