A fun bawdy romp with some life lessons
British author Ken Ross has written article for magazines in addition to children’s books, informative books such as antiques as a monetary source, words of wisdom, memory, humorous books (the DEAR DR CORNFLAKE series), thrillers and novels – WASTED PAIN, ANN: IRRESISTIBLE SPIRIT, A CROSS OF CROCUSES, and PROTECTION. He lives in Leeds.
The ability to span the gamut of topics such as this author’s gift offers surprises with each novel. He is able to entertain with touching family stories, thrillers and now erotica. As is his penchant the story opens with a carefully painted atmospheric scene that sets the tone for the tale to follow: ‘A guy gets lonely, night after night, finding highlights of life are couples hollering profanities outside his window and drunks punching air to ward off other drunks punching air too. The city authorities shouldn’t have granted a license to the proprietor of Harry’s Bar at the end of my street; there’s enough bars a hundred yards away. I’m thinking of taking up drinking; if you can’t beat them, join them.’
And so it proceeds as our narrator’s boring life is suddenly altered by the boisterous entrance in to his flat by scantily clothed girls whose focus is lust and physical playfulness. This transformation of a man’s life by an accidental disruption from the realm of erotica opens the door for an examination of what is important in life and how unpredictable circumstances and events alter perception and change. Another fine little novel from Ken Ross.

Sex, murder and more sex.
What do you do when three barely dressed girls with a gun end up at your apartment bringing with them a gun and leaving little to the imagination? If you’re like Jerry, you invite them in, give them coffee, hide them from the cops, offer them $1000 to stay the week with them and take the adventure of a lifetime discovering their past, having ungodly amount of kinky sex with the three sisters, and ending up with a future you’d never imagined. This story includes, sex, murder, more sex, family relationships that are extremely unusual and a whole lot of erotica. This is a short read, with an interesting if slightly messed up storyline. The characters are interesting and salty/sweet. It kind of reminds me of a different version of Pretty Woman. Successful business man pulls three women off the street and they go on the ride of a lifetime to their happy ending.

Protection, sex, revenge & romance by Ken Ross highlights the author's ability to take the mundane and elevate it to much more. While you may think this book is all about sex, and there sure is a lot of that, on a deeper level it is about the human condition. All of that is wrapped in a tawdry little tale that follows a man and three sisters who go on an adventure. There's plenty of sex, some murder, and weird family relationships to explore. Just when you think you know where the story is going, it changes direction and takes you somewhere else. This book explores the concepts of randomness, serendipity, and pure chance, and how sometimes all of those elements come together to fashion a new existence, and a new understanding. Highly recommend for something a little unusual, and in fact with this book, you can't judge a book by its cover or title.

Good read
This book is a love story but it's more than that. The main characters don't keep trying to find a reason not to love each other. I think you will like this one, the four main characters are extremely happy and energetic. Wow, are they ever.

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway that I must have entered by mistake. However, I decided to give it a try; hoping for a good romantic suspense that, unfortunately, did not materialize. Most of the book was sex with very little suspense. However, the book did include some redeeming factors including sisterhood and love. It also includes murder, rape, and a little suspense. My kindle e-book edition had a lot of editing errors. As other reviewers have said, much of this book felt like a man's fantasy being lived out through almost continuous steamy scenes that did not advance the story. While this book was not for me, the right audience will undoubtedly like it.

The book is a man's fantasy novel with unthinkable events, and twists and turns. The protagonist acts like a Santa Clause to three grown-up sisters, fulfilling all their wishes, protecting them and loving them and in return receives their unconditional love and loyalty. The story is of moderate length and would make the male reader feel particularly good. There are a few unpleasant instances, but mostly enjoyment and an adventurous journey.

The story is about three sisters who end up with a gun at the doorstep of an unknown man, who offers them a place to stay, cover-up from cops and money in return for a week of enjoyment with them. The story seems like a fantasy land, but the only difference is not all is sweet, there are some suspense and twists that provide breaks and changes the course, some adventures that makes it interesting- but some contents are not for everyone.

When you're beginning to think this is all about sex, you learn it's about more, and when you're beginning to think it's sex and more, you learn it's about romance too. A moving story.
