3.25⭐️

This was a cute and fluffy read based around a cafe in a mysterious place. It is mysterious because the protagonist, Suzume, does not know how she got there. Just that she did and she thinks this is all a dream that she is unable to wake from. The mystery of what this place is is not the main plot of this story. It is a cozy tale of Suzume making sweets at the cafe and making friends. It is kind of a glorified recipe book with a mystery but I am not complaining. I like the art style and am warmed by the story.

a very surreal, dreamy manga about an AU where time seeps slowly and baked goods constitute the majority of what's happening...it feels slightly dark (because it is) as more comes to be revealed, but overall a very comfortable and slightly melancholic read
