Very enjoyable great reading

Each story was different and each one brought something different to the table. Each woman went through different struggles and I liked how the guys in each story come together. These books were good for me after I had read something dark. Good books.

The inheritance:
Grandpa and his stipulations, hmm, what was he thinking? Obviously he was sick for a while for him to come up with this construction.
Garnet and her men make a good match together.
She doesn’t really want to marry so quickly but she has an important decision to make.
What she decided did surprise me and didn’t seem like an obvious choice to me. But if they can make it work, why not?
Glad to read this wasn’t one of those open ended or cliffhanger type of books!
The Renovation:
With two things that connect the guys they have a great thing going for them. But only because they are so open minded!
Shelle is an awesome friend too! Can’t say too much or it would spoil the read for you.
The only thing that bothered me a little was that they all had the same line, while they get to know Jayma.
Or maybe that’s the first thing that connects the guys?
The Promotion:
Maizy has a good life, living with her sister and a job she loves doing. But then her manager puts the pressure on and all might turn for the worse.
But she’s bold and assertive so this might be just what she needs.
I love that this isn’t about needing a man to be happy or the pressure to have kids ‘while you still can’.
It is all about love and honesty!
We all have a pretty short life and it’s our responsibility to make the best of it.
So now I’ll get back to it ;-)

I’ve never understood why it’s so important to keep up appearances when it’s so obviously fake.
But I guess it is right to find out who your real friends are. Even if it is the hard way.
Would have liked to know what made Smith leave like he did. Guess I will never know.

Garnet en haar mannen passen goed bij elkaar.
Ze wil niet echt zo snel trouwen maar ze moet een belangrijke beslissing nemen.
Wat ze besloot verbaasde mij wel en het leek ook niet de meest logische keuze. Maar als het werkt voor ze, waarom niet?
Goed om te lezen dat dit niet zo’n boek met een open einde of cliff hanger was.

Met twee dingen die de mannen verbinden hebben ze iets moois samen. Maar alleen omdat ze zo open minded zijn.
Shelle is ook een geweldige vriendin! Ik kan hier niet teveel over zeggen want dat zou het lezen bederven.
Het enige dat me een beetje dwarszat was ze allemaal dezelfde uitspraak hadden toen ze Jayma leerden kennen.
Of is dat juist wat de mannen onderling verbind en wat het spannender maakt?

Het gaat over liefde en eerlijkheid. We hebben allemaal best een kort leven en het is onze verantwoordelijkheid er het beste van te maken.
Dus daar ga ik nu mee verder ;-)

2.5 stars for collection, not stories
My biggest recommendation here is to NOT get the collection, rather just get the stories. If you do get the collection, do not—I repeat, Do Not—read them one after the next. I did that. Won’t do again. I REALLY enjoyed the first story. Great steam, super sexy characters, enjoyable little read. As I made my way through each consecutive tale, the 100% cookie cutter pattern annoyed the heck out of me. So then I was caught up in waiting for exactly what I knew would be coming next instead of being able to lose myself in a book. Even down to the exact words said: love...Oh Shit, did I say Love? Each book has a damsel in distress who is totally open to dating bunch of guys but feels like she ultimately has to pick one, one supportive and more vivacious than the main character bestie, four hot dudes who are forever friends who like to share, and a meal which is served at the moment of truth meeting and happens to be the best meal known to man—cuz that what you need to serve when you have four sexy men who want you. By the time I got to book 5, I was a little angry and found myself skimming which might not have been the case if the author had used a new plot line. Not to mention that when you have four men, you really need to keep the writing straight to make sure from one page to the next you use the right names in the action—I found myself going back to see if I read stuff wrong when guy 1 was on one page doing something but a different name was used on the next page. So bottom line, writing is fine/easy going, characters are mostly fine, steam is great, but collection: not so good.

But I am giving 4 steamed cups of java, ☕☕☕☕, for EACH of the books!!
If you're into orgy fun read, these books have pretty HOT scenes! Best read as standalones because reading it one after the other can get lukewarm if you get the gist! Read other books in between each of these standalones and it keeps it steaming hot in between.

only one issue
It might have been a better idea to mix up the number of men… som women would call 3 a harem, some might think 5 was better. The avoidance of anal was weird. Usually when there are more than one men it is a highlight of the relationship. Many straight men love anal as do many women.

Always the same story, but....
Always the same story, but that's exactly what I expected. I spaced out my reading so I wouldn't overdo it. I would give this 3 starts bc of lackluster editing, but I'm adding a star since the storylines are as advertised.

Very formulaic potato chip stories. The skeleton remains the same but the skin is different. Easy to eat a whole bunch at once, but reap the consequences at the end.

The first dook was great the second and third were very redundant formula wise. Different characters but the same situations. Too predictable if reading all in a row.

If you like steamy romance reverse harem stories with alpha males and females then this is the book set for you. I enjoyed the first 3 and then they started to drop off. The narration was ok. (I "read" the audible edition.)
