I had the absolute pleasure to read each of K.C. Crowne's installments to the Bearded Brother's Series and I promise you that this is a collection worth your time. If delicious and rugged mountain men interest you... Pick this series of 5 incredibly crafted storylines and the realistic characters to match.
Inside this collection of perfection, you will find 5 terrific reads; Her Mountain Daddy, Beauty & the Beard (my favorite), Built & Bearded, The Gentleman as well as Bride & the Beard. While they can be read as standalone romances, I believe that you will enjoy them all. That's 5 romances that come complete with a beautifully designed happily ever after for each.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of each installment to this series and loved them all. That is why I wanted to give my honest and voluntarily given opinion on this incredible Author. K.C. to me is a talented Author who delivers time and again and I highly recommend reading anything written by her. She never disappoints her reader's.
Her Mountain Daddy - Brad is still getting over the lose of his wife, but needs to be there for his family, the business and their twin boys. But when he realizes that he needs to bring in some help, he may get more than he bargained for? Angela is looking for work and when she meets the Hunters, she is in awe of them and the resort. She loves the twins and wants to help them, but can Brad get out of his own way to see what is in front of him? This is such a good, juicy, heartwarming story.
Beauty and the Beard - When Cole finds a woman near his family's resort that had gotten lost. But when Cole sees her, he sees a lot more and wants to get to know her. But when Lindsay wakes up, she has amnesia. She slowly gets her memory back, but can Cole keep her safe from what she saw? Love these books and stories. I can't wait to see what the other brothers have next.
Built and Bearded - Dax is my favorite!! Dax Hunter works as the social media and advertising manager for the Resort. So when the weddings and events come to the resort, he plays a big role. But when the wedding of a Congresswoman's son come to the resort, he will have to play nice with the wedding planner and make sure it looks good for all involved. When Oakley lands the wedding planner job for the Stone's, she is over the moon. But when she sees the men she will be working with, she is a little nervous, especially seeing Dax's picture. But that does nothing to prepare her for meeting him in person. But when the big day comes, will they survive? This is such a great story between the characters and shows us that love at first sight rings true!
Bride and the Beard - When a "stolen" cab turns into so much more, will it last? Only in Vegas can these stories be told! Harley is in Vegas for a convention to learn more about building his fitness/spa business at the resort. He wants to learn as much as possible so he can get his family's support to continue the expansion. But when Emily arrives in Vegas, she is determined to make this convention work so she can work harder and better for her family and get out from under her parents. But when she runs into Harley, can things work out? When they spend the night on the town and end up in a wedding chapel, will things get interesting? This is a great story and addition to the series. Will they get their HEA or will family and exes get in the way? Secretly, I am hoping to see Ryder's story too!!
The Gentleman - Hailey is Oakley's assistant, and when they are planning the wedding, Hailey sees Cooper Stone and wants to be with this man, no matter what. But when Cooper's mother doesn't approve, will that be the end of their relationship? Or can Cooper be strong for the both of them? Cooper has never been interested in the "nice" girls his mother wants him to be with, but when he meets and sees Hailey, he knows there is so much more to her and he needs to get to know her. This is such a great story and the characters come back in the other books too.
For me this story is part good and part needs some improving. The storyline is a good one, I liked all the characters and how tight the Hunter family were but there were some areas I felt the writing needed tidying up a bit so that it all flowed together better. A nice start to a series.
Beauty and The Beard - 3 stars
Book two in the series, lovely to catch up with the Hunter family. I enjoyed the story, the chemistry, the relationships and the brothers banter but felt the writing was choppy at times and seemed in places two different books merged into one. In saying that it still held my interest and I was eager to see how the story would play out and if they would get their HEA.
Built and Bearded - 4 stars
Loved Dax and Oakley's story, instant connection, carer minded, great family and friends, chemistry, romance, a bit of drama/action and strength shinning through. I really enjoyed the character development. Not five stars as in a couple of places I felt a sub plot fizzled out or didn't deliver enough for me and on a personal note I couldn't connect the model on the front cover to how Dax is described in the book. However it was a well written story which held my interest from start to end.
The Gentlemen - 4 stars
This book runs parallel to book 3 which made for an enjoyable read for me as I really liked book 3, it also answered some questions I had. Cooper was such a great guy and the connection he had with Hailey was sweet and sexy. My reason for not scoring it 5 stars was I felt the end was a bit rushed and didn't do the characters and their story justice, for me anyway.
Bride and The Beard - 4 stars
I really enjoyed this story as it was a little bit different taking place away from the Lodge so much. Lots of twists and turns and mixed with some truly lovely moments and different examples of love. This story wrapped up the series really well.....unless the author wants to write about the next generation... ;-)
A good four star boxset.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an ARC.
A collection of must reads! Each of the books relates to the others as the main characters are five brothers that have created a super successful mountain resort from scratch. Each of the brothers has their own special talent, and they have designed the resort accordingly. You’ll love each of the brothers and find yourself rooting for their happiness. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
What an Awesome Collection of Mountain Men Romances! The characters are some of the best I have read, their interactions are delightful! Each of the Hefty, Husky, Hunks have a Pan Amazing Story Each Brother has his own Sentimental story to tell. If you love Hot Mountain Men, this Collection is for you!
All those beards!!! All those alphas!!!! I’m totally in love with ALL OF THEM!!!! They’re mine, but I’ll share them, I’m bitextual lol!!!! Why are you still here, GO ONE CLICK THIS BOOK!!!!!!
This box set includes: 1 - HER MOUNTAIN DADDY Brad was the oldest of the four Hunter boys known as the "hefty husky hunks". He had been married to Sam and they'd had a set of twin boy until four years ago when Sam died of cancer. They had previously discussed their children and had decided when the boys started Junior High School, they would be homeschooled rather than continue to attend public school, that way they would have an individualized education without the violence taking place in public school. Angela Barret had just moved to Blue Haven and was looking for a low key teaching job that wouldn't put her name out there too much and where should could be paid in cash. She didn't want to leave a trail for anyone to find her. A love at first sight romance with a plot and characters you'll want to fall in love with. This is the first book I've read of K. C. Crowne but won't be the last as I'm hoping she will continue the series with books about the remaining brothers. What a cast and crew she has brought to life.
2 - BEAUTY AND THE BEARD
3- BUILT AND BEARDED Congressman Stone's son and fiancé, also stars in their own reality TV show, were planning on getting married in a few weeks and wanted it to be held at the resort Dax and his family owned. Of course, the bragging rights for Hunter's Mountain Ski Resort meant Dax would be in charge of publicity on the resort's website and social media pages. And contrary to want he thought or wanted, he was charged with helping Oakley Padin, the wedding planner, with anything she needed. Oakley had grown up watching what could happen when couples struggled financially. She watched her mom pack and leave her and her sister with their dad. She had no education, had never worked, and had no money. She just couldn't take the life anymore and couldn't support her children. That made Oakley determined and driven. She was never going to be a damsel in distress. That's why she started her own business as a wedding planner. K.C. Crowne's newest addition to the Bearded Brothers Series is a great addition. Easy to read, a plot with enough intrigue, angst and sexual tension to make it interesting and a romance with a happily ever after. What more could you ask for?
4 - THE GENTLEMAN
5 - THE BRIDE AND THE BEARD What a great addition to the "Bearded Brothers" Series. KC Crowne has outdone herself again with another heart warming story surrounding family love and loyalty, this time with Hunter and Emily. Two people with a chance meeting in Las Vegas. Fortunately for them, what happens in Vegas, does NOT stay in Vegas this time. If you've enjoyed the first three books in the series, you'll absolutely want this one. If you haven't discovered them yet, by all means, they will each serve as stand alone so jump right in. You'll laugh, cry, and go through the angst with them until they can figure out their own HEA.
I've given you individual reviews on three of the five books in this box set. Each with a theme but unique in their own right. They're wonderful romance books with some sexy spice that will take you away.
A fun box set for you featuring: Book One – Her Mountain Daddy, Book Two – Beauty and the Beard, Book Three – Built and Bearded, Book Four – The Gentlemen, and Book Five – Bride and the Beard. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what to expect! Enjoy!
*** Reviewing BOOK 2 - BEAUTY AND THE BEARD *** Cole and his family owned a resort in the mountains and were gearing up for a busy season. They met for their family breakfast at the restaurant and each discussed how they had prepared their part of the business and what help they might need. Afterward, they all went their separate ways to get set up to meet the guests’ needs.
Lindsay arrived in town and prepared to take photographs and do some work on her book. She particularly would be searching for an amazing winter-white Ptarmigan – a rare grouse -- nesting in the Colorado mountain ridges. In the summer, they turned brownish-gray to blend into the rocks and trees. Having pictures of the bird during both seasons would complete her book. She headed to the local diner to ask any hunters if they knew where the nests might be. With a napkin-map in hand, she set off for the mountain. Unfortunately, she realized she had left her phone and ID back in her room; but with darkness coming early, there was no time to go back or she would lose a day’s work.
As she followed the trail, Lindsay heard voices ahead. Hiding behind a tree, she watched the men and heard one say the hole needed to be deeper so the body stayed buried! She decided to snap a picture of them and sneak away to report what she had heard to the police. But one of the men turned as she took the final picture and saw her! She turned and ran! They fired a gun at her and she continued to run as they gained on her. She got to her vehicle but dropped the keys in the snow as her hands shook in fear. Retrieving them, she jumped into the SUV as a gunshot hit the door, and she sped off on an unfamiliar road to escape. She knew they could follow her tracks in the snow so she drove even faster. When she came to an unexpected curve, she knew she would not make it, spinning out of control and slamming into a tree! Was this her final moment? Would the two murderers finish her off, or would she die in the freezing cold with of injuries with no way to call for help?
This was a good story with plenty of excitement. What I like most is how the author presents the closeness of the family who run their resort together, each responsible for their own duties but always willing to help another family member when needed. It was a warm, welcoming feeling. And they treated their guests the same way. Even the dog was an important part of the family! With the variety of stories included here, the reader will find plenty to enjoy!
Romantic stories of mountain men and their friend and family. Five romances centered around the Hunter family and their ski resort near Blue Haven. Colorado. Book 1-Her Mountain Daddy Brad and his family run the local ski lodge but he had lost his wife four years before to cancer and was now the sole parent of their twins Reid and Bryce who they had agreed would be home schooled when they were older. Angela had moved to Blue Haven to get away from an ex-boyfriend who the police say they can do nothing about without proof. As a college professor she applies for local jobs and is pleased to be call for an interview at the local ski lodge for a position as a homeschooling tutor for two children who live at the lodge. When she and Brad meet they feel an instant attraction. Book 2-Beauty and the Beard Wildlife photographer Lindsay goes out to find a certain bird in its winter plumage when she come upon two men digging a hole and putting something wrapped in a carpet and manages to take some picture before they see her. One of them pulls a gun and she runs climbing up the slope back to her vehicle but as she speeds away she loses control and goes off the road down a steep slope. When she come to she has no memory so she climbs up and follows the road down but when she seems to be getting nowhere she sees smoke and strikes out in that direction. Cole's family run the lodge but he lives in a cabin with his dog Bella. When Bella takes off into the woods Cole follow and finds an unconscious woman who he take back to his cabin but when she wakes she has no memory. Book 3 Built and Bearded The hunters are excited to be chosen as the venue for the wedding of a Congresswoman’s son and know this will bring them a lot of publicity. Dax is picked to work with the wedding planner and as soon as he sees a picture of her he feels attracted. Oakley and her assistant Hailey arrive at the resort and she is alarmed by how much better than his picture Dax Hunter looks. Book 4-The Gentleman Assistant Wedding Planner Hailey saw an extremely handsome man who she was surprised to find was the groom’s brother and she finds it hard to keep her eyes off him. Successful lawyer Cooper Stone arrives at the resort where his brother was having his wedding he goes to meet his parents for a meal when he spots a beautiful woman and goes over to ask her if she knows where his parents are. Book 5-Bride and the Beard Harley meets Emily at a Business Conference in Vegas. He was looking for helpful ideas to expand the resort gym into a gym and spa while Emily wanted ideas to start her own business as a Massage Therapist. They enjoy each other’s company then on the last night they go out on the town with another couple and drink too much. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The stories in this boxed set of books are OK, but there are so many mistakes. It didn't seem like these books had been edited at all, and certainly not very well. Misused words (had instead of has, eloquently instead of elegantly, is instead of was, articulately dressed?, and so many more), bad grammar, and sentences that just didn't make much sense. Please authors, do yourself a favor and get a good editor. This was so bad that I'm not even sure it was run thru the grammar editing that is built into word processors.
The stories are OK, although it did bother me that birth control or protection of any kind was never discussed. The couples just go for it, and no one seems to consider sexual diseases or possible pregnancy to be a concern. That is not very realistic or believable. I also felt like most of the couples were more in lust than in love -- just because you want to have sex with someone does not mean you are in love.
I also thought that each of the stories was very similar. The couple meets and starts seeing each other, then the H has to save the h for some reason. But everything works out for them in the end, usually a little too easily to be believed.
This one gets 2 stars from me, because it just has too many mistakes.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
I originally read and reviewed these stories individually buy having all these bearded, hefty, husky hunks in one place was too much temptation to pass up. Below are those reviews.
"Her Mountain Daddy": Hefty, Husky, Hunks...these are the words to describe the Hunter brothers. After reading this book all I can say is I'm so looking forward to reading about the other three brothers!! If they are anything like Brad, all three will be very special. I absolutely loved how Brad loved his family and wanted to honor his deceased wife's desires concerning their sons. This is the debut book by this author. It has a wonderful story-line with characters that you will truly like and wish to visit with again.
"Beauty and the Beard": On this return hotel trip, Cole finds an unconscious woman near his cabin. When she wakes up she has amnesia. Lindsay witnesses a crime and crashes her car trying to escape. This was a wonderful story. I love visiting this hotel and these brothers. Can't wait to see who's next.
"Built and Bearded": Having read and truly loved all three books in this series, I believe this may be my favorite. While there were times I wanted to shake Oakley, I loved Dax. The entire story-line was wonderfully written. The last few chapters....all I will say is "WOW"! We get the full range of emotions in those chapters. Loved it!!
"Bride and the Beard": Mr Smug... Once again "what happens in Vegas" doesn't stay in Vegas. A "stolen" cab and a convention bring Harley and Emily together. Of course no trip to Vegas would be complete without visiting a wedding chapel! This was a wonderful story and great addition to this series. I loved all the characters especially Chloe. Would love to see Ryder get his HEA.
"The Gentleman": We first met Hailey and Cooper in "Built and Bearded" and got a "teaser" about their chemistry. They made another appearance in "Bride and the Beard". This is the much needed follow-up story telling us how they got from point A to point B. All I have to say is Cooper must be one patient man because I would have lost my mind if I had his mother!
*I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*

Bride and beard Harley is running a mountain ski resorts with his brother's. He is the fitness instructor but would love to build a spa at the resort and then hire people. But Emily has a seacret one that means that she can't move across the country to live with Harley. But Harley won't give up so easily.
A fantastic box set with hour's of joy. I loved all five books
Thankfully this set was a KU, which I enjoy...now the overall stories were great, loved the characters but each book had its own issues. The editing errors showed that either the ARC, beta readers, proofreaders and editor didn't do their jobs and catch the issues - alot of silly typos/missing words or extra words in the sentences etc it all shows sloppy work of the author but really its the editor who should take the fall. Now with that said, 4 of the 5 books - at the wedding each gets told "I'm pregnant" really? it was copy and paste, the author couldn't change it up just a little? in Haley/Cooper's book Cooper's mother was a pain but she was just left hanging - after all the issues she caused what happen? did she just decide to let Cooper and Haley be together??? Did they get married? the book just stopped without closing out the story. in Emily/Harley - the ex husband fought for the child - yes she won full custody in the end but what happened? Did the ex husband just go away quietly? The end was VERY rushed and all came together within pages after taking the entire book to tell the story....Oakley/Dax was kinda dull - no bad guy so it was an easy read (minus errors), Angela/Brad a great story the bad guy was "taken care of" so nothing left hanging, Lindsey/Cole the two men who chased her/kidnapped her were caught at the motel? one was caught and the other was in the room - was he caught? kinda left it hanging....did the Sheriff go back and find the body of the missing man? kinda left this hanging....Shellie /Alec kinda left this hanging as well - they were together for a couple weeks...did she go back to NY did she stay? If you are going to bring additional characters into the story at least close them out! and take care of the little off-shoot stories i.e. the rolled up carpet being buried in the woods....
over all I would give the books a 4 star - the editing a -1 star this author has alot of books out and she shouldn't be so sloppy/get a new editor/proof reader - parts left hanging in the stories 2 star. The readers that actually paid for the book wasted their money.
What's better than a hot bearded mountain man story....this box set with five bearded brothers at their mountainside ski resort!!! The Hunter brothers run their ski resort as a family and each brother has their own role in the operation. With the nickname of "hefty, husky hunks" these brothers don't lack for women's attention. All single, Brad is the oldest and is a widower with twelve year old twin boys, and all have no intention of settling down anytime soon. Meet each brother and the women that capture their hearts and prove them wrong. With each story you get amazing chemistry, pasts that haunt and chase them and plots of danger that bring the alpha out in these mild mannered men. Danger comes in all shapes and sizes to year this loving family apart but love prevails to give each brother their HEA. I love each story and can't decide which is a favorite because each story has its own personality and problems. One thing is consistent and that's no matter what the problem is the Hunter family stands together as one and the bad guys fall. This is a definite MUST read one click box set. His/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger, children and a dog to adore, sizzling chemistry and five HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorite collection!!. A wonderful opportunity to get all five stories in ONE box set.
I truly enjoyed the 5 brothers. Brad and Angela's story was cute The scenery sounds heavenly . I loved the descriptions of the mountains , river, cabins and the town . I did think Brad and Angela,as well as, Cole and Lindsey kinda got busy fast . I love Dax and Oakley together . Their story is the one I loved the best. That avalanche was something else . (What was all the sex with no protection ? ) All the women were fertile Myrtles! Cooper Stone and Hailey had mommy dearest problems but I didn't like how that ended . It seemed like the ending was rushed and there were unanswered questions . The last book with Harley and Emily was cute. I'm glad you didn't have her parents in more than they were . I didn't like them . I did think Shawn would try to hurt Emily some other way. He liked her alone and miserable and scared of him. That kind of anger doesn't go away . Are you going to write a story for Ryder ? There should be a "friend" for Mary Beth too. All her boys are grown and married . She has her grandkids. So now it's her turn . Anyway thanks for the books. I really got into them . I've been reading them straight through. 😆
Beard Brothers Box Set has books 1-5 of the Beard Brothers by author K.C. Crowne.
Book one Mountain Daddy has the story of Brad and Angela.
Next is Beauty and the Beard has Cole and Lindsay.
Built and Bearded has Dax and Oakley which is one of my favorite stories in this box set. There is a ton of heart and soul and the chemistry between these two is off the charts.
The Gentleman has Haley and Cooper’s story.
Lastly, we have Bride and the Beard the story of Harley and Emily.
What I love is this is the entire series so far in one place. I like being able to read them one after the other and not have to search for the next book.
I also liked that each of the characters has a very distinct personality. No one feels cookie cutter.
I like the Dual POV narrative as well. Allows me into both character’s headspace. I also like that characters from the previous story show up again and have their own story. Makes me love the series as a whole.
Overall a great read for the romantic at heart and a wonderful way to get caught up with this series.
I had read one other book by this author and liked the storyline so I decided to KU this collection. The stories themselves weren’t horrible to read or comprehend. They were quite enjoyable.
My big concern and the reason I gave 3 stars is that the spelling, grammar and production mistakes were through almost every chapter. I can forgive one or two but when there are “=“ in the middle of multiple words and random letters just hanging out in sentences, it’s hard not to notice. One of the stories had the H grabbing the “broom to broom” the snow off the porch. Wouldn’t the correct word choices be “broom to sweep”? In all honesty, it felt like the author was in such a hurry to provide this product to the consumer that they didn’t double check the work.
Another thing I noticed is that the sex scenes were the same in a lot of the stories. I know it can’t hard to write that many different sex scenes, but I found myself scrolling right passed them because they were the same in the previous chapter.
I would recommend this as a decent read, but I hope the author gets a chance to clean it up first.
I was so immediately drawn into the world of handsome mountain men. The well written love stories each unique and mesmerizing had me completely smitten with each hunk, and their spectacular families. I just loved the continuity and flow of detail that wove through from one story to the next. Hot intense passion, blinding love, seriously steamy love scenes, and over the top chemistry to boot. Wow! All the very interesting storylines each so different kept it intriguing and unpredictable. On the edge of your seat, and a real page Turner. Major thrills, danger and mystery too. Such sweet loving and loyal friendships and close knit family ties that inspire heartfelt hot and perfection in the to to a happily ever after. I thoroughly recommend this series. You'll be so glad you read it. Big smiles and two thumbs way up. Well done.
I can't give away any plot spoilers, I didn't read enough of the book to discover the plotline. I don't know if there are any potential triggers. By 4% I couldn't read another page, I had reached five or six errors by that point and the writing style failed to grab my attention. It was all he said that so she said this, let's plan this and we can do that. I don't expect an immediate action scene but I do hope to have a hook to draw me in. Having the ML have fantasy sex in the first page was weird, mostly because there is no mention of who he is having sex with and there is a distinct lack of emotional connection. Another odd thing, the author seems to have huge difficulty swearing. The ML is talking away in his own head and still spells sh*t with the asterisk. Really? It felt like the book was written by a Sunday school teacher attempting to be naughty. I just couldn't get into it at all.
Even though the stories are nice, I find them a little bit slow and, at times, redundant. The author tends to describe situations that have nothing to do with the core love story. Maybe the idea is to give you a hint of what the characters lives are outside of their love story but this doesn't work for me very well. It just frustrates me and to certain degree bores me. The characters were nice there were great moments in which the male characters allow themselves to feel and not be alpha males all the time, which is a breath of fresh air. And the drama and suspense are on point, too. The only really negative aspect of the books is that they are full of typos. This is something that makes reading this stories extremely difficult for me too and it's definitely something the author needs to fix.
This is a box set of five books. There are four Hunter Brothers who co-own and run a mountain resort in Colorado. They are close and support one another. Each book is a standalone about each brother plus a book about a friend of theirs. The first three books are about the three oldest brothers, then the friend, and the last book is about the youngest brother. These are all romances, each with an HEA. I've written more detailed reviews for each one and gave the first four books 4 stars. The last one got 3 stars because it felt more rushed and not as well thought out as the other stories.
This set is definitely worth a read with romance that include strong characters and real challenges.
This was a very romantic and suspenseful box set series about a loving family - the Hunters. Every brother got their happily ever after with a little of suspense thrown in. The only complaint I have is that the proof reading could have been a little better to catch the misspellings through out the set and especially in Dax's book. That is the only reason I could not give it five stars. Overall I really enjoyed reading about the Hunter brothers and how they found the love of their lives and how their children completed their family and how they all worked together to make their resort successful. I would recommend this series for a hot romantic series.
I enjoyed this series.. I like a series that goes from family member and to family member, each having there romance and finding love that lasts a lifetime. One almost feels a part of that family! Their trials and tribulations are ours to share and take part in. The 4th book was a little out of sinc with the idea of telling the brothers stories, but with Emily’s and Harley’s story there was a need for a good lawyer, and that’s where Cooper, from book 4, made his skills known to the plot! At times the dialogue and plots of the stories were “sing-songy,” and pretty predictable, but every book had an HEA ending... which fulfilled my need for satisfactory story telling!
The storyline was good - good concept, likeable family, variety in antagonists.
Editing was subpar - spellcheck was run, but it wasn’t read over for omissions of letters, correct word choice, double negatives (not and a contraction) or translocations of letters (the error was a word, so it wasn’t caught by spellcheck).
In general, the storyline was written by someone who was very young/immature based on life experiences - the scenes were thought out and developed, but the concepts lacked realistic adult knowledge.
I think this author would translate well into young adult fiction, though the (lack of) editing needs to be addressed.
What a great book set! I had only read Bride and the beard and loved it! Reading the rest of the Hunter brothers stories made the last book even better. Plus the bonus of Cooper Stone and Hailey’s story added another level of drama. Each story was filled with drama, and or/suspenseful moments that really kept your interest. It was great to read the stories back to back because you were given a different point of view or a continuation of the previous stories. I received this as an arc and this is my honest, voluntary review.
These books seriously need a better editor. They're filled with so many typos and flat out grammatical errors. Fortunately the stories were creative enough to keep me engaged and I finished them. The stories were imaginative and different with each brother. They each had their own interests, likes and the women were all different as well. Just fix the typos and grammatical errors and the stories will be much better. Oh and fix the formatting too. The random periods throughout the book were annoying.
