Nixon and Hogan are BACK in this comic book adaptation of the 2008 Tromadance New Mexico official selection and underground cult classic zombie comedy flick DEAD SHIT!

After Hogan swipes a mysterious talisman from Nixon's weird old neighbor, Don Duepe, a hoard of ruthless undead zombies descends on Strangeville, threatening to turn the entire busted town into brain craving fiends.

To make matters worse, the talisman contains the spirit of an ancient and angry Samoan goddess whose powers mutate the zombies into even weirder monsters!

Filmmaker, novelist and now comic book creator and mayor of Strangeville Kevin Strange re-imagines one of the classic Hack Movies. This is one for the ages, gang!

Fuck yeah! This bat shit crazy comic book is the titz! Style-wise, the art is less than perfect but charming and unique, giving Strange, the author and artist a unique signature style. The story is fun and also chock full of that off the wall Strange way of storytelling.
Can't wait to shove part 2 into my head piece.
Also, big ups on the banana titty zombie woman.

After a short bit of too much telling instead of showing In the first two or three pages, the story goes straight into what Kevin Strange does best: Insane action with hilarious dialog that never lets up, much in the way classic Stan Lee comics handled action, except with no punches pulled in the vocabulary department.
The art is sloppy and naivistic, but has a lot of charm and works well with the chaotic action scenes that fill out most of the pages.
I'd say parts of the the coloring (like blood often being done with splatter brushes rather than being hand drawn for example,) and perhaps the speech bubbles being a bit too large at times are the only real weak points of the comic.

This is only a fourth of the story (with issue three being double length), can't wait to read the rest.
