EVER, Book One: Seventeen-year-old Ever’s love life has been on hold for the past two years. She’s secretly in love with her best friend Frankie, and he’s completely oblivious. Of course, it doesn't help that he’s dead, and waking up to his ghost every day has made moving on nearly impossible. Frustrated and desperate for something real, Ever finds herself falling for her hot new neighbor Toby. His relaxed confidence is irresistible, and not just Ever knows it. But falling for Toby comes with a price that throws Ever’s life into a whirlwind of chaos and drama. More than hearts are on the line, and more than Ever will suffer. Some girls lose their hearts to love. Some girls lose their minds. Ever Van Ruysdael could lose her soul.
EVADE, Book Two: In this thrilling sequel, Ever Van Ruysdael's race to beat the odds—and the clock—begins with the introduction of an integral part of her past. As secrets are revealed, and truths uncovered, she learns her imminent death is the least of her problems: Ariadne did more than just put an expiration date on her life; she marked Ever's soul by upping its value for greedy collectors looking to buy their freedom. Condemned by the countdown on her life, and hunted by hired Seekers, Ever’s journey leads her to question everything she’s known and everyone she’s trusted, while growing closer to the one person from her past she was determined to avoid—and the one guy she never could—Toby James. With her ex-boyfriend by her side, and the countdown clock rapidly ticking away, Ever tries thwarting fate’s plans. But as her nineteenth birthday approaches, and desperate Seekers follow her every move, she may be too late. A marked soul is hard to come by . . . and even harder to escape.
ENTWINED, Book Three: When soul collector Toby James met Ever Van Ruysdael, his second chance at life, his world, and his heart were thrown for a loop. Now, after months of chaos, they’re finally in a good place. But fate has other plans for Ever and Toby, and now, both souls are on the line. All’s fair in love and war… when a Reaper comes knocking on your door.
Jessa Russo believes in fairytales, ghosts, and Jake Ryan—she’s pretty sure her heart has never fully belonged to anyone else (apologies, Mr. Russo). When not writing, she can be found watching far too much Netflix, drinking craft beer with her friends, or enjoying a nice Sunday brunch (even if it’s not Sunday). Her young adult projects span the genre field, but will always have a lot of kissing and (probably) a little heartbreak. Isn't that what falling in love as a teen is all about?

This butchered version of Twilight hurt my soul in so many ways. I should've known from the first few pages how bad this book was but I continued to have hope.
First book: Ever is annoying Second: Ever is even more annoying Third: She forgot how annoying she was but ended the book her annoying self.
So many emotions with this book. First, I didn’t like it. I thought it was weird THEN I couldn’t put it down THEN it got redundant THEN picked up THEN ended
I think it was a good story but I felt it would have been told better as one long story not broken into 3
Loved book 1 and then up until the last 2% it was all just a bit bland! There was some major waffling that just caused confusion where readers and collectors are concerned. You never find out what happened to Samuel or why ever was special.
Spoiler... Part of me liked how things ended. Ari got what she earned. I was a bit caught up in Frankie. I mean, he's rockabilly, through and through. Lovely mind candy.
Fun read, and packed with twists and turns. Some may be a bit less unpredictable, but that's what made this so fun. I was reminded of younger years. Of, that fresh out high school, wtf am I gonna do next in life, feeling. It was a bit exciting, really.
Ever has a ghost, her forever friend exists in her home and her parents and bestie, Jess, see and talk to him each day. He is also the only boy she has ever loved. Then Toby moves in next door, and Ever's peaceful life changes dramatically. Three stories, which become more complicated and exciting as they progress. No reveals, here, but tragedy, deception, pursuits and abductions replace the normal teenage issues facing Ever. I enjoyed this supernatural, angst-filled romance.
Book 1 had me captivated. I was hooked & loved the premise. Once we got to book 2 I felt like the momentum slowed a little bit. I figured it was because of what was happening in the plot & probably some set up for book 3. Once we got to book 3 I felt as though the ending was so abrupt it left me wanting a little more.
It was a good premise but I wish the rest of the series gave me the excitement the first book gave me
This trilogy was amazing. Toby and Ever are so cute. Their love is so real and true. This just shows you that soul mates do exist and that no matter what they always find each other no matter what stands in the way
The first book was not my favorite in terms of writing. But the author definitely found her voice in books 2 and 3. The ending was abrupt and a little lackluster but overall a fun read with characters that are decent,y developed.
What an interesting book. I was captivated from the first chapter. What an incredible journey these young adults went on. So pleased everything turned out as it should of.
Honestly a good story very unique but gawd dang sis stop constantly repeating yourself!!! These 3 books probably could have been 1 and been literally perfect! But alas but she never stops repeating herself 😭
The Ever Trilogy by Jessa Russo: 3 stars I skimmed a lot just to finish.. This series didn’t really pull me in, but it was somewhat interesting. I liked the characters overall, but the story line felt rambling. -PTators
I’m not usually into books with paranormal story lines, but the romance in this book kept me entertained. I’m usually a fast reader, but these allowed me to take my time which was shockingly enjoyable.
I finished this in 3 days. It was so good I couldn't put it down. There was a few plot twists, lots of laughs and some gasps as well! Highly recommend!
Wow, that was different from any paranormal I've read. It was so good. I hated to see it end. I was hoping for a continuation of the other characters 😔
Ehhh it was okay, I liked the first book. I didn’t like the second book it was superrrr boring!! I FINALLY got to the third book and it was good but nothing crazy… wish there was a better ending .
Jessa I've enjoyed your ever series from the very first novel to the last. You've kept me wanting to read more with each turn of the pages. A must read trilogy.
