Zero Dark Thirty: The Autobiography of a Very Special Cat

Rate this book
This is the story of a small, black American cat who started a revolution!Once, there was a small, black cat who was born with a misaligned jaw. This caused his tongue to stick out and made him drool more than your average cat. Because of this, he found himself dumped in the 'boonies' on the outskirts of a small town in Oklahoma.Fortunately for him, the area in which he was dumped was patrolled by a feral cat, Edward Enigma, who knew where good food and good homes could be found. He introduced this lonely, frightened little cat to Misty and her family and, before long, the legend that was Zero Dark Thirty began! Before long, he found himself welcomed into a large furry family, and found a new role for himself. Zero and his new Mom posted regularly on the Cat House on the Kings Facebook page and made friends all over the world, as his posts caused people to giggle and laugh, and these posts have come together to create much of the material for this book. Our aim, as authors, is to continue Zero's revolution by making people more aware of the plight of many animals out there - those who are dumped or rejected for whatever reason; to show that there is no good reason for anyone to just dump an animal and that there is always an alternative; to show the importance of T.N.R. (trap, neuter and release) for feral animals; and to show that every animal has something to give to a human family.

Heartwarming. I followed his adventures on facebook but to have it all written down was great. Cried some, laughed, just fell in love with ZDT and his family. If you are an animal lover please read this one.
