Face to face with the Kremlin . . . Following the death of his beloved mentor, Dr. Robert “Rocket” Richter, American covert operative, Chase Fulton, inherits far more than a life insurance policy. In Richter’s belongings, Chase discovers journals that take him back to the final days of World War II and into the skies over Europe, where he learns that his own battles with the demons of his past aren’t so different from those of the man he’d admired and loved. The undeniable truths revealed in Richter’s final hours send the young American operative on a harrowing, self-imposed mission into the frozen wilds of Northern Europe, and as far as the icy doorstep of the Kremlin, to fulfill unspoken promises, and to save the life of the beautiful Russian spy who almost cost him everything. The treacherous journey finally unveils the mystery of Anya’s true identity and brings the two face-to-face in a dramatic reunion that could change both of their lives forever. In the most shocking and unpredictable ending in the Chase Fulton Series so far, Chase’s decisions for his future violently collide with his deeds from the past, and leave everything in question.
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Cap Daniels has continued to make Chase's story exciting and a page-turner. I was a little disappointed when I realized Anya would be replaced in Chase's heart by Penny, but at the end of this story found her to be his perfect partner. I knew this was the end of Chase and his story was over......clear up to the last sentence.
As always, Cap has exceeded my expectations. Now when is the next one again?
Bringing everything to a conclusion Book 5 was the best read. I did like all 5 books and the tie into each of them. The story of finding Anya is a bit of a reach, but still well told. The new characters who helped Chase were a nice addition also. Looking forward to Book 6....A nice finality to a well told story covering all 5 books.
Cap Daniels hits all the notes on this entertaining and fun series! I'm really enjoying the series, and only started reading it 4 days ago (I'm already on book 6).
Book Review – Author Cap Daniels’ Chase Fulton series – thrilling tales of action and adventure throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida waters - is high intensity, fast paced, and very entertaining! Although I started with “The Distant Chase,” Book 5 of the now 15 book series, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased and looking forward to going back and starting with Book 1, “The Opening Chase.” Following the death of his beloved mentor, American clandestine operative, Chase Fulton, inherits far more than a life insurance policy in this espionage thriller. Fulton discovers in his mentor’s journals undeniable facts that send him on a traumatic, self-imposed mission into the frozen wilds of Northern Europe, and the icy doorway of the Russian Kremlin. Packed full of espionage, action and intrigue, this story was skillfully written to literally keep you reading until you finished. The book is not formatted as a short story but short enough (230+ pages) to read in a very brief amount of time. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed The Distant Chase, and I am looking forward to diving into the rest of the Chase Fulton series by author Cap Daniels
Sorry, NOT sorry! I can't stop binge reading these Chase Fulton stories! Not only do I get to meet very interesting characters, I get to travel to places I've never been, or even heard of! This one makes me proud I'm an American, with people who are willing to fight for my freedom, with people who value the life we enjoy. I can't even imagine the lives of some of the people of this world who live under the conditions thar we only hear about. Go, USA!
Another great story by Cap Daniels. But, just reading along, getting into the story real good and then boom, end of the story with a cliff hanger. Now have to wait on the next book. It will not get here soon enough.
Intriguing. Fast moving. Twists and turns. I miss this man when I come to the end of each book. Thank goodness the next installment is due to publish in a few months!!!!
Once again another great story from cap Daniel's and as usual enough to know that Chase and crew will again be a lot of trouble this was bad car the best book in the series keep them coming God willing i can keep reading all you write cap.....
Cap Daniels is becoming one of those authors you can't wait to read what he writes next. The Chase Fulton series is one along the lines of Mitch and Scott. Chase is a bad ass assassin who knows what it takes to get the job done.
I am a Cap Daniels fan. He writes with a style that will keep you up at night. This book does not disappoint. Chase and his sidekick Clark travel to Eastern Europe for an unauthorized mission to rescue the former love of his life: Anya. Great read!
The further character development, the story, the energy were ALL superb! I couldn't put it down. It answered questions I'd had and delivered them perfectly within the storyline... guess you can tell, I loved it!
I read each Chase Fulton story convinced they cannot be as good as the ones I've already read, but they are, or even better. Great characters, dialogue, action; Cap's books are seriously hard to put down.
The best one yet!!! Chase finishes one chapter of his life, only to start the next with a shocking arrest. I couldn't turn this one off, always had to know what was going t0 happen next. Masterfully written and performed.
This was a real page turner....the saga continues.....loved it....keep them coming!!! I can't wait for the next one....great job, great plots...Thanks!
Daniels has the ability to make me laugh in the middle of the most dangerous situations. Each book is the best.😊 So glad Dawn Lee McKenna introduced him to her readers. Can't wait for the next one.
I have read them all. To me this one started slow picked and up steam. It ended with oh my what happened? Can’t wait until the next one because it leaves you hanging!!
Really enjoy this series. All the characters are real, the stories are fun and exciting. Just wish Cap could write them faster. Cap, thanks for Chase and the enjoyable reads.
Another great Book in the Chase Fulton Books. I had a very hard time putting it down. I will be downloading Book # 6 The Entangled Chase when I complete this Review.
I think book 4 and 5 have been the best I have read, but I am so disappointed that Penny came along. As great as she is , Anya was perfect for Chase.........
