A very unabridged 5,000+ pages book, showing history in a way that it's not taught at school. I have a whole new understanding of how my world was put together after reading it. From wars to matrimonies aiming consolidation of families in power, great writers, science, it's everything there. A must for those, who like me, always want to know more and better! It took me 6 months to read it, totally worthwhile!
