Beautiful Ending!

For those of us fans from The first Dead Days Will pleasantly pleased with the ending. At least I was. I felt at peace with the ending and I’m usually mad about how the story unfolds. Every question answered, every tale told, every life worth something. The thing I took away from this final book was that we screw up, everyone we aren’t perfect but because we are all humans we have a chance in this life to fix them. It’s never too late until your dead. All the characters made appearances in this book which was neat and inventive. I want to let all those zombie lovers that the dead only get scarier in this book! Ryan Casey left no stone (literally) unturned. You get action, love, chaos, and for fun death and decay running around!
I loved every page of this series and am sad to see it end. Riley will always have a special place in my zombie world.
This is highly recommended for zombie and action lovers alike.

*3.5 STARS

This was a great ending to the Dead Days series. It was heartfelt, suspenseful and satisfying, and tied up all the loose ends nicely. However, the writing sometimes felt weak, especially towards the middle of the book; awkward phrasing, unrealistic dialogue, too many moments where the protagonist was saved last-minute by another character or a deus ex machina. The ending really saved it for me though. It left a good aftertaste.

I won’t go into any of the plot as I think it’s best you read it without knowing anything. There are a lot of twists and turns in the story, which is to be expected from Ryan Casey.

I've never been able to re-read a book until this series came along. I read the first 6 books and then I decided to stop until the series ended. This is one of the best zombie series there is out there, if you like non-stop action and don't mind gore and difficult situations in your zombie books then these are the books for you.

sigh

What at miserable end to this murky miasma of a tale. Pays the bills I guess, so there’s that I guess. Predictable killing off of any character who had any development at all, including the main character, consider spending this huge chunk of time elsewhere.

Best Ever

I don't usually write reviews but this was a book I couldn't put down. I read it every spare moment during the day, at the Drs office, riding in the car and more. If you pick it up don't plan on putting it down.

Tears

I loved that Mr. Casey developed his main character to the extent that he did. I won't give away the ending but hit brought me to tears. Literally Amen to that!
