This box set is truly amazing. Each book will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. The characters in these books are all very special people. I had the honor to review this box set for the author for a honest review. I would give these books a higher review if I could.

I received this series for free from the author in exchange for my honest review. That being said, I thoroughly enjoy the suspense and interweaving of faith in these books. The characters are well developed, their day to day struggles with family, faith, work, life is well written and completely believable. I found moments that I could relate to, as a Christian, I think we all have experienced a time where we wondered why we kept praying for someone and just wanted to give up. So much truth in a fiction set!! Not only does Joy Ohagwu write great suspense, but she also weaves faith and salvation into her stories seamlessly. Besides being a good read for Christians I recommend it to everyone. Religion is NOT shoved down your throat, this is a good clean read with lots of edge of your seat moments. It's refreshing to read a good suspense without needless swearing and descriptive sex acts! You don't have to be a Christian to want to avoid those two things when reading. Joy provides great reading with all the plot twists and turns and does it with class.

I absolutely loved these books! Ms. Ohagwu is a fantastic writer who has the awesome ability to grab the reader's attention and reel her in for a great story. These books have a lot of great themes - family, forgiveness, friendship, loyalty, mystery, love - set in an action-packed thrill ride of a read. The characters are very well-developed and the plot is definitely not predictable! I would highly recommend these books!

I loved the series. Fun suspense mystery and good strong Christian theme and characters. I did not like the epilogue. Felt like a completely different person wrote it. So many open questions. Who are these people in epilogue when barely addressed in books. Like trying to summarize years in last few pages. That part was disappointing but I loved the 3 books prior to that.

Thus a prequel to Pete Zendel's life.
We find the battle between good and evil and a family's part in the battle.
I enjoyed the storylines,the multi dimensional characters.
Thus collection is recommended for Christian fiction lovers with a strong inspirational message.

If you enjoy clean Christian suspense then this series is for you!

Whisper is the full-length prequel to The New Rulebook series and tells about Pete Zendel's beginnings. This series is full of suspense. The action will keep you turning the pages, and the clear road to salvation will touch your heart. Joy draws you into the characters and the story. God's love, forgiveness, and grace are weaved throughout and the character's faith encouraged me.

I have enjoyed Joy's other books and this series is the best yet. I enjoyed the real life struggles to walk in faith the characters faced showing by example how it's done.
