Lyndon

Returning to my hometown of Jefferson, Colorado was always my plan after attending cooking school in Paris. Taking over the reins of the restaurant in the family owned ski lodge and resort from my grandmother was my lifelong dream.

However, being in the City of Love was an experience that changed my life in so many ways. Now, the life I've created in Paris is colliding with the dream that's coming true. Let's just hope - unlike oil and water - they mix well together.

They say Paris is the city of love and Lyndon's story certainly proves that it is. The love she finds is unexpected, but it survives the hurdles thrown into its path and shows that love always wins. We were given hints of Lyndon's secret in Nixon's book and the suspicions I was left with were confirmed in this 5 star addition to a series that every reader really should pick up and allow themselves to be lost in. The authors, Xana Jordan and Michelle Rene, incorporate the French language so beautifully into the story and use it to show the love shared between Lyndon and Tristan. This is a heart melting love story that leaves you thinking about the characters long afterwards and has you wanting to visit them all over again.

I'm so happy and excited to be able to witness the journey these two gifted authors are taking and how their work gets better and better with each book they release. You can see the dedication they put into each story they create to ensure their readers are given stories they will enjoy and love. As always, I'm left excited about what they have planned next and can't wait to see what's in store for the other two Buchanan siblings. This book, and series, are recommended reads!

This is such a great book. It really left me longing for my family and more connections, especially during this pandemic. Xana really loves to pull the heart strings in all her books and yet again she got me tearing up and wishing the book would just keep going!!

Lyndon is such a sweet and loving character towards her family and her love, so from the start you are just so proud of her. She went to Paris to gain her culinary arts degree and become a cook but gains a lot more than that degree. But some unfortunate events occur in her life that will change everything for her period.

Tristan is just *sigh* He is so sweet, caring, sexy and attentive in all ways. He is such an amazing person from the way he loves his family and his girl to the way he runs a business with his heart as well as brains. All of these things are so hard to find in a man as well as a person in general.

I was so happy with this book and the way everything transpires. If you love Xanas' books you really need to read this one!! I look forward to ready the next!!!

Wow, this book is fantastic. I read it in one sitting, could not put it down. Lyndon, is the second book in the Winter Haven Series - if you haven't read Nixon... grab it, it's awesome - and features the only daughter of the Buchanan family - who has been living and working abroad. A beautiful tale which begins in Paris before moving to the mountains of Colorado. Lyndon and Tristan are a couple who are the perfect complement to each other, and their bond is only strengthened when the occasional... hiccup... threatens to interfere. This is such a fun read, the family Buchanan is a force to be reckoned with and all the characters are spirited individuals - their 'take no prisoners' attitude making for lots of laughs. There are some poignant moments, but they are handled with sensitivity, and simply add another layer to an already well developed story. I really enjoyed catching up with the Buchanans... now I want the next one!
Lyndon is an easy 5 stars - highly recommnded

This is the 2nd book in this great series and is Lyndon and Tristan’s story. Lyndon has been in Paris for a culinary arts degree, and her dream was to come home and take over the restaurant at her families Ski Resort but being in Paris changed her life in so many ways. This is a well written tale which pulls at the heartstrings and is a sweet. Entertaining, humorous, and poignant and moving storyline, with secrets, and family dynamics. These talented authors are a fantastic collaboration, and I look forward to reading more of their work which I highly recommend for all.

We're back at Winter Haven to catch up with the Buchannan's once again and there are plenty of secrets to reveal and not everyone is happy about it!!
I love the collaboration of these 2 authors is spot on with the way the story flows flawlessly!
