Life sure knows how to knock you off your feet with curveballs you never see coming.

She’s one of those curveballs. Lizzie—the girl with the big, blue eyes who captivated me from the first moment I saw her.

I knew it was risky and irresponsible, allowing her to get so close when my life can change in an instant with one simple phone call. But I wasn’t strong enough to fight it. I couldn’t. Not when being with her made me realize that we found the kind of love most people search a lifetime for.

But my past has the potential to tear us apart, and to break her in the process. How do I protect her from the consequences of decisions?

I can’t let her slip through my fingers. She’s the most beautiful part of my life now. Precious, delicate, and worth fighting for…

Until the very end.

This could have been a good read I guess but Hero has way too many ex loves for me to care or be invested in the romance between him & heroine, so DNF for me.

NOAH, by Fiona Keane, is a warm, heartfelt, sexy romance, that’s written so beautifully that it kept me hooked from page one. I snuck-read this book at work, hiding my phone under a pile of papers because (a) I fell in love with Noah and wanted more, and (b) I needed to see Noah and Lizzie get to their HEA. Note: Although it’s Book 2 of the More Than Friends series, it can be read as a standalone.

Noah, an EMT, meets Lizzie at the hospital, during one of the most traumatic experiences of her life. They have an instantaneous connection as he consoles her, and their conversation gets a bit flirty. At first, he’s reluctant to move forward with her, because he’s been burned and he’s hurting. But once he realizes that Lizzie is too good to let slide through his fingers, they get together and start to learn each other. With Lizzie, though, Noah doesn’t only have to win her heart, he has to win the heart of her fiercely loyal friends.

One of the best things about the More Than Friends series (try Book One, SEAN, if you’d like to catch up), is the friendships. Sean and Avery, Ella and Jesse, Lizzie, and now Noah, have the kind of friendship that we all hope for, where your group of friends becomes closer than your family. Those post-college, pre-thirties years are a time of soul-searching, and Ms. Keane writes this cast of characters perfectly. They’re young and fun, but also old enough to know that life isn’t all about getting drunk and hooking up. They have serious life issues and lean on each other for support, and they’re looking for their happily ever afters. Adding Noah to the mix of friends made the group’s relationships stronger.

My favorite thing about NOAH, though, is that it lets the reader inside of Noah’s head and heart. Although he’s a muscled, tattooed hero-hottie (with a cute, old pup named Muffin!) on the outside, on the inside, Noah’s devoted, enamored and completely smitten with Lizzie. I loved being in Noah’s head. He’s a male who is a teddy bear inside, who feels mature things, and has thoughts that don’t center solely around his sexuality, but moreso his emotional state of being. When he’s hit with some curveballs in the form of his job and his ex, my heart cracked for him, he was written so well. He never tries to control Lizzie or dominate her—he only wants to cherish her, which is refreshing in a male romance POV. NOAH made me believe in love, hope, and dreams, and that it was able to do that through the male POV is a true testament to Ms. Keane’s writing ability.

I love Ms. Keane’s stories because they give me all the feels and make my heart explode, just to put it all back together again and leave me emotionally wrecked in the best way, ready for more. NOAH is no exception. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy a thoughtful, character-driven romance, high on emotion and beautifully written.

Noah is an EMT who is just as sexy on the outside as he is a sweetheart on the inside. He feels deeply and is always there to help anyone who needs it. The last call he went on hit him deeply, so he goes to the hospital to check on the man they brought in and meets Lizzie.

Lizzie is devastated by the traumatic events of the evening and she needs to support her friend and Noah is there to support her. Noah is still healing from his last relationship and doesn’t feel ready to go down that path quite yet but there is something about Lizzie that he can’t walk away from.

This is an emotional story about love, family and the pain and joy that goes with it, Lizzie and Noah have a deep connection and chemistry but their road to each other is far from smooth. I am enjoying this series and the wonderful group of friends it is about.

A beautiful book about love and friendship. It had everything. Betrayal, love, swoon worthy moments, humor, I could not put it down.

Noah thought he had it all, a job he loves, and his girlfriend, but fate had different plans for him. See, he was knocked off his feet when he's on a job, and in the aftermath, he meets Lizzie. They have a strong attraction for each other, and a very beautiful journey takes place. It's not necessarily one that is quick, nor slow either, but somehow perfect the way it is. They aren't perfect, but they are perfect for each other. And the secondaries are from previous stories add more depth to the story, not to mention the geriatric four legged fur baby who belongs to Noah. There's humor in spades, but also angst for all the drama queens out there. And for me?! Well there's those twists that try to derail everything, which allow me to drop loud f-bombs, and that's my favorite part. Oh, and I can't forget that the heat level is steamy, so sexy times light the sheets on fire! Fiona Keane penned a great story that I loved, and what's more, I loved seeing what everyone was up to in a different POV. So, all that's left for me to do is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the second book in this phenomenal series, and is Lizzie and Noah’s story. Noah is an EMT, and when he meets Lizzie at the hospital, he consoles her, and there is an instant attraction between them. This is a beautifully written flawless story, which is an emotional roller coaster ride, and with witty banter throughout. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all. In my opinion, this story is worth so much more that the 5 star rating allowed!

This author does not just write a story, she creates a world that immerses her readers into the pages. I fell in love with Noah in Sean's book, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this story, I can happily say I wasn't disappointed by it in the slightest. Noah is at first glance your macho man with the big build, and tattoos but in reality he is a giant teddy bear (which is my favorite type of male in a book) Phenomenal writing, that was descriptive but didn't give you the unneeded fillers. This is my favorite story from this author to date.

Beautiful and heart wrenching

Beautiful and heart wrenching. When I read her stories my emotions go into overdrive between the tears and smiles. Noah and Lizzie absolutely gutted me with their dedication and compassion to one another. Everything does happen for a reason because life isn’t perfect. Everyone needs to take things as they come and grasp what they want because a second chance never come. Brilliant and a must read for anyone who loves second chances at life and romance.

Be still my beating heart!!!

Sean was my first book by this author, Noah my second. I don’t know who I’m in love with more.
This expanding group of friends grab you by the throat and heart. You read with a smirk, a smile, a tear or ten, and a laugh. You’re there in the moment with them.
Whether you’re sitting in the garden, on a beach or reading in bed you have to give this author and her books a try. I for one will very be back for more

I love Fiona Keane. Noah is an amazing story. I fell in love with these characters in the previous book (don’t worry they are stand-alone). After reading Sean, I had to go and read Noah. They are both amazing books and I get all the feels when I read them.

Noah and Lizzie are amazing together. Reading about them makes me jump in the book and meet them I person. Noah is an EMT whom saves Lizzie’s friend. They fall in love instantly.

This is a must read.

the hero been too needy for my taste. And for me it felt like he sometimes was feeling waaaaay too much at the same time, and it wasn't clearly defined why he was feeling nervous or afflicted, like he was feeling nervous for his past love/meeting the friends/for being horny...i was like omg let it breath between emotions. And I get it he is a sensible guy but come ooon.

I did finish the book... For me what I didn't like was that it was way too emotional drama for the guy, that wasn't clearly defined or spaced out, nor was there a moment where he was like relax, just being. It was from one extreme from the other no in between.

I'm not saying it's a bad book just didn't do it for me.

Noah was a slow paced romance. It started slow, too slow for my taste actually, but interestingly being twisted in the middle. The story was more about how love can be nurtured. It showed how sweet and warm a H's romancing could be. Love didnt necessarily be rough lusting one, but it could be also about warm nurtured and growing over time; a sweet sweet kinda love. And those type of love stood still against challenges and tribulations; it showed us what's the most important of love: each other.

Noah

Gah, I got to meet Noah in Sean’s book, but getting to know him more intricately was such an awesome experience. I loved the plot, and enjoyed this group of friends. Lizzie is so adorably fierce, and Noah was perfect. My only complaint was the ending. The epilogue was so abrupt, it left me going “wtf, I missed so much!”

Had H not sought to redeem himself and get the help he needed, this would have been a 2 star book. He did; and he re-established his relationship with his friends, he became a decent human being.

Same shit, different book.
Not memorable in the least.

Still messy writing and I won't continue this series; these two were enough to make me rage quit. Nuff said!
