In Nideea—on the edge of the Shining Sea—Alleak lives a peaceful life, unaware of the dangers that surround him.

Whimsical and carefree, and isolated from the greed of those who run the land, he knows little of the competitions for power that rage beyond his borders… but when an old friend brings a cargo to Nideea that sparks a war, Alleak’s life plunges into Chaos.

Placing his trust in the man whose actions caused for the destruction of his hometown, Alleak allies himself with a madman. Battling enemies that are not his own, he struggles every day to survive the horrors he has endured.

Torn between his need for justice and his desire to protect a woman he barely knows, Alleak discovers that both his fortune and hers are entwined with the doom of Dragonsclaw.

About the author

Stacey Logan

Stacey Logan was born and raised in Country Victoria, Australia.

She has written plays, poems, articles, reviews and far too many dinner orders as she made her living as a waitress until she ran out of excuses for not doing what her heart truly desired; writing books.

Despite being a qualified Editor and Proofreader, Stacey is guilty of accomplishing things in a non-linear fashion. Her debut novel BOOTCAMP: Daughter of the Lakota, was intended to be a stand-alone book, but she soon realized it was part of a trilogy. The prequel (Shadow of Hope) and a sequel (Heart of a Nation) followed within a year.

Her next project was of far greater scope. She began working on The Dragonbone Legacy as a teenager and again, true to her inability to begin at the beginning, she started writing the last book first, again with the foolish notion it would be a stand-alone. Going back to the beginning, she discovered the range of stories that needed to be told to make her “one” novel come to life and so the Legacy was born. Currently finishing off the Second series within the collection, she is looking forward to producing many more works in this world of magic, adventure and, oh yeah, dragons.
