To quote my daughter and her high school friends, "Seriously? I can't even!"

This book begins with our intrepid heroine still on the Island of the Misfit Toy Boys (IMTB). Why she's still being held captive is anyone's guess, and my guess is that it's necessary to further the plot. The original plan was for Piper to ensure that the IMTB pack was safe for her little sister to return to as their future pack princess (don't ask me what that means because I've read all three books, and the author has only pretended to explain it) then for Piper to return to her pack and have Maddie delivered to them like a pizza or something.

She awaits the arrival of one of her original beloveds, henceforth known as The Luckless Dorks 1-4 (TLD), TLD 3 and her sister, Maddie, who have been rescued by IMTB 2 following an attack on TLD's pack house by a combination of witches lead by her formerly dead father (totally serious and now known as FDF) and his merry band of evil villains that consists of mercenaries (yup) and FDF's coven.

Now, if you were unfortunate enough to have read the second book in this trilogy, you know that TLD 3, the shifter formerly known as Kai, is hands-down the least emotionally secure of the TLD (and the only member of TLD that Piper hasn't screwed), and, therefore, was Piper's obvious choice to inform of her straying eye and, as was constantly mentioned by the author, "wandering heart" via The Secret Burner Phone of Destiny given to her by IMBT 4 because plot point. Thus, TLD 3 and Maddie aren't speaking to Piper because she's a big, sister-and-boyfriend-abandoning, wolf-butt-sniffing, other-guy-wanting poopy-head, so there!

It then comes to pass that the Shenandoah pack, who may have been mentioned in previous books, I really don't remember because my mind is quietly erasing everything I've read to spare what's left of my sanity, is also under attack by the FDF and his posse. Why would FDF attack them? Nobody knows, but "sure, come on over, there's plenty of room, and there's beer in the fridge!" So IMBT 1 sends shifters to help locate and ship the refugees back to the island. Unfortunately, for everybody involved especially the reader, FDF and his coven send their mercs and, and I'm dead serious when I write this, sea monsters after the boats loaded with shifters. Now, this turn of events as well as the fact that FDF is, well, FDF and not just DF, begs the question why, if they can create sea monsters and raise the fucking dead through magic, do they need ANYTHING from the shifters? Anybody?!

As luck would have it, the boat carrying, you guessed it, IMTB 2 AND the other members of TLD is attacked by a sea monster (I'm embarrassed just typing that). Piper and TLD 3 are, of course, the only witnesses to signs of life in the water after the boat goes down, thus forcing them to steal a boat AGAINST THE ALPHA'S ORDERS!!!, and race out to rescue the survivors from the clutches of *sighs* the sea monster *shakes head and rolls eyes heavenward.*

IMTB 2 is the first hauled up into the boat, and that's important because he is apparently a sharpshooting sniper-man, killing the creature (I can't do it again) with a single shot from a rifle. Remember this later because there might be a quiz... Anyway, they get the other members of TLD into the boat, but, sadly, the author, needing both a reason to explain CPR in great detail AND create a plot point that will come back to haunt us in ways that no mere mortal should suffer except for the joy of making fun of it later in bad review, TLD 2 is killed. OR IS HE? After what seems like the rest of our entire lives, IMTB 2 finally convinces Piper to try magically healing TLD 2, which she was refusing to attempt because of her modesty and humility. "What?
Me? Heavens, no, I'm not special! Just because IMBT 3 was cured and perfectly fine that one time after he was shot in the chest! It was a coincidence that my Magical Lips of Health Restoration were touching him when the bullet wound healed!" She wonders if she can really do it, and I wonder if he would really want her to knowing that he'll have to spend the rest of his life with her. So, guess what! She heals him through the blessed magic of bad writing, and the villagers rejoice!

Our stalwart heroes head back to land without further incident only to have more creatures as well as a whole mess of mercenaries attacking the village. Thank heavens that the island is safeguarded with a stockpile of weapons that, in any other situation, would have brought down the FBI in its entirety to arrest everyone and confiscate the whole damn island and possibly just nuke the site into orbit. I mean, the island is just right off the coast of Virginia... Just sayin'.

IMBT 2 mans a machine gun nest and basically spends the next 20 pages shooting at one of those darn tentacled residents of the sea, if you will. Now this scene is where your little pop quiz comes in. How did IMBT 2 take out the creature on the boat? Remember? Yeah. So why does he need a machine gun now? Oh, yeah, crappy writing! Score one for the reviewer!

Finally, creature dead, IMBT 2 stands alone gazing out across the battlefield. But, wait, what is that other pack's alpha doing?! He's raising a gun to shoot IMBT 2! Piper, as is necessary in all books written by questionable authors who have seen action movies and are in need of a plot point, throws herself in front of the bullet, mortally wounding herself! "What shall we do?! No one else has Magical Lips of Health Restoration! Our heroine lies dying! Should they try to get her to masterbate? How else can she heal?!" No, they didn't really discuss this, but at this point, I'm kind of amazed that they didn't.

And, "why," they wonder! Why did the other pack turn on them? Why, Charlie Brown? Why?

Aaaaaand enter FDF, who has kidnapped all the cubs from both packs, and is holding them hostage. "I can heal her! However, I'm only doing this to enslave her again! Take it or leave it, chumps! BWAH HAH HA HAAAA!" Then he proceeds to capture five of her eight man-fans along with her dying body and lock them up in prison cells conveniently provided by earlier generations of shifters before IMBT 1 took over as the new and improved alpha, who just makes naughty shifters stay in the comfort of their own homes.

Moving right along, FDF saves Piper while cruelly promising to re-enslave her, but kindly leaving her men alive and in her presence. Ain't he the sweetest psychotic, evil, zombie witch you ever did meet?

Piper, having been mostly dead all day (I apologize to both William Goldman and the memory of Andre' the Giant for employing that line, but it's for a good cause), somehow snuggles with IMBT 1, I think, through the shared bars of their cells. She ends up spilling her guts to what's his face causing a breakthrough in her repressed memories and allowing her to shift for the first time. It's a miracle! Or just a lame way to get them all out of the cells since FDF doesn't know that Piper can now shift and thus is in for quite a surprise when he comes back to beat up her men and taunt her about her future and that of her sister.

Meanwhile, everywhere else, Piper's other three fuck buddies are scattered to the wind. TLD 4 and IMBT 3 stumble upon each other and team up. While, IMBT 4 is in possession of Maddie and holes up in a secret cave that only he and IMBT 3 know about, except for when we find out in a few pages that actually pretty much everybody in the free world has also discovered said hidden cave.

We all find that out the hard way, when What's Her Face, aka Maddie's birth mother (MM), who has been promised Maddie's safe return to her by FDF if she helps locate Piper, which is extremely strange since he already has Piper and a bunch of her men held captive. But, hey, we can't expect an author to have a reason for everything she writes, can we? IMBT 4 and Maddie are quite chagrined to be discovered by MM, especially when she stabs IMBT 4 and throws him out of a window...in a cave... Maddie escapes through a giant hole in the plot...I mean, in the upper part of the cave, but is almost immediately recaptured by MM because the author wrote it that way.

FDF is, in fact, surprised by Piper's ability to shift, but not before he brutally beats and whips TLD 1 who is left severely injured. FDF makes his escape in IMBT 1's jeep and empty threats are made.

Piper and crew retreat to that secret cave that nobody knows about except for everybody on the planet, and Piper performs her first mouth to dick healing on TLD 1, giving a whole new meaning to "the jaws of life." She then promptly has sex with TLD 3 because he's mad at her and that's how broken people fix things in relationships. Besides, this helps to heal his wounded psyche, I guess, with her Glorious Vag of Many Healing Wonders.

The cave is, I think, the best character in the whole book. First, because it never says a fucking word. Second, it has all sorts of things you don't find in other caves like separate floors, rooms and more personality than any of the living characters. The rooms are especially convenient when Piper wants to fuc... heal one of the guys without the rest standing around watching and critiquing.

We segue over into what's happening with IMBT 3 & TLD 4. Actually we don't segue, we just turn the page, and there they are. Near the Cave of Worst Kept Secrets Ever, they discover IMBT 4, who, clings to life because this book avoids anything that might evoke feelings. This is especially apparent in the main reason I number TLD 4 as number 4. At no point throughout their separation does anyone wonder what happened to him. Everybody wonders about IMBT 3 and 4. Where could they be, are they alive, please let them be safe. Poor old TLD 4? Nothing? Not even an "I feel like I'm forgetting something." You, sir, are the most omega of the omegas. Not even your mother loved you! Actually, she might have, but she's not here, and they are and they've blatantly forgotten about him because he only exists because the author wanted an even number of shifters in both packs, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise. So there!

MM brings Maddie to FDF only to discover that he's been lying to her about letting her keep Maddie this whole time! GASP!!! J'ACCUSE!!! And Maddie, the only person in the disaster of a word blend, who evokes any sense of sympathy at all, is understandably upset with Monster Dearest.

BLAH BLAH BLAH, magic, BLAH BLAH BLAH, disapproval, BLAH BLAH BLAH, rescue cubs, BLAH BLAH BLAH, hiding their scent. Piper heals IMBT 4 with her Incredible Healing Mouth of Life-Giving Suckage at some point for which he is grateful. Then they go to confront FDF once and for all, and are immediately thwarted because they are all epically stupid.

Piper becomes trapped in a big smoke bubble with FDF, MM and Maddie, and through one of the most absurd plot contrivances I have ever had the misfortune to read, finally manages to kill and decapitate FDF.

This should have been the end of the book, but it's not because the author is malicious and cruel. We are then lead on an empty meaningless explanation of how the packs will work together because Piper something or other and this and that and MM will be punished but not harshly and Maddie is sympathetic. TLD 3 is still somehow miserable and sullen then Piper fixes it. Then I sigh and hang my head because I really had nothing better to do than read this disastrous excuse for printed word then make fun of it via a mean-spirited review. I love my life!

Well I'm glad its over. This was a pretty chaotic and what I felt was a disorganized ride. We are finally at the end of Piper's story here and I'm still left with a ton of plot holes. Like why is Piper special? Why does she seem to have so many mates? Why does she seem to have all these extra powers? There was mention that Maddie was something special? Where is the explanation for all that? How in the world have these packs let things get this far.. wtf is their problem. Why did the packs split up to begin with?

Honestly I felt like book 1 was a pretty good intro but things just went twighlight zone in book 2 and never really recovered for me. Really, Im not sure why I feel this way but I think keeping the father as the bad guy throughout the series was a bad idea.. I mean how many times we gotta beat the same guy over and over.. old dogs don't learn new tricks and all. I felt like the author made a mistake keeping him as the antagonist throughout. Also I felt like we should have had some reason why Piper was connected with both packs.. like a prophecy or.. heck idk something to explain why the book went that route.. like it was destiny..

Idk I'm left confused and just exhausted from this lol... I'm just glad its over..

The entire series was blooming brilliant!!!! A wonderfully captivating read with plenty of action and heat plus a very good story line. This is the third and final book in the series and May didn't disapoint with the large finale, there are some unexpected twists as the packs come together to fight a common enemy and a lot of the underlying questions are answered. Again once i started reading i couldn't put the book down until i had finished it and yes i was left with the feeling of what next - well that comes in the next set of books that follow Maddie a few years down the line of which book 1 was again brilliant and its the reason i discovered may Dawson and her amazing books.

Well damn. This book was just bad and truly disappointing. In my review of book one I mentioned that it felt like a complete story and you could stop there if you wanted to. Really wishing I took my own advice. Maybe an epilogue at the end here would have helped a bit but we didn’t get that and everything was rushed and brought to a close rather unsatisfactorily. The series takes place in a matter of a few months, maybe just two. She goes from meeting and loving her small pack of four wolves to then another pack and four more mates. Both sets of guys shes only known maybe a few weeks. It’s clear this book frustrated me, so much happens and yet so much doesn’t. Somehow she grows into her powers and learns to shift. What’s more is she learns she can heal her guys, goes from healing them by touch to near the end, having magical BJ skills that take up to much of the book. And still at the end as far as I can remember she didn’t even sleep with them all. (Belive logan was the only one left, I could be wrong though she went from one to the other so quick it all blurred.) the big threat here is her fake father who still hasn’t given up using her and her sister for their magical abilities. Somehow he’s able to convince more of the coven to follow him and uses a third wolf pack to invade the island her and her new mates are on. The final battle if you could even call it that was lame and disappointing. The guys would get beat up here and there, face life threatening injuries, she’d heal them and they’d be off to their next ridiculous dilemma. Even her sister Maddie didn’t have much of a role which was disappointing. Her mom was a straight dick and their story wasn’t even completed. Something was mentioned about the girls having power being together but nothing came of it. There were tidbits laid here and there through the story that never came to be or were just words littering the pages. I guess more than anything I’m let down by this series. The first book showed promise and though I didn’t find it to be a five star read it was enjoyable and I was looking forward to seeing the series progress. But honestly they got worse as they went on and I’m impressed I finished but also glad it’s done at three, I couldn’t do more. I still think I’d recommend the first book but I would say to stop there, even with some things left open it’d be a much more satisfactory read than the series as a whole provided.

A fantastic ending to this part of the series!

The last book is where the war with the covens takes place and it does not disappoint!

I loved how the packs came together to take down their mutual enemy. It was brilliant that they weren’t automatically on each other’s side though. There was a lot of mistrust and tension surrounding the guys because of their love/want for Piper. But how they managed to come up with a solution was brilliant.

The twists never ended and action was rife throughout. The end result was appropriate and stayed in keeping with the moods of the other books.

A fantastic series and one to read for RH fans of all things wolves!!

Perfect ending to this set, with the promise of more in a spin-off. I love how the story unfolded and the characters come together. The ending was perfect!

What a great series!! I read this series, Their Shifter Princess, out of order, and so I came into this series expecting greatness. It delivered. I have discovered that May is a very good writer who captures our attention with great characters, engaging plots and fast paced.

As I have come to expect from this author, this series was well written with a couple of my must haves for a good series, Action and Romance. The characters were fun to read about, they had lots of chemistry, and I do enjoy good banter.

So I feel that if you are looking for a good paranormal series to get lost in, start with this one. So I would recommend reading Their Shifter Princess and the Their Shifter Academy.

ohhhhhh

I’ve never been so happy there’s another series already written of her sister and that it has more of Piper in it! I’m hoping for her being pregnant or having a kid already! I neeeeeed more! But also I’m excited to see Maddie all grown up and her finding herself just like her sister and the packs and how they’ve come together since the end of this one! This felt a little rushed especially with her having 8 men but it came together well despite that. I just want more of them because I’m obsessed with May’s good character writing skills!

Wow

Well I got to say that ended rather abruptly. No future look or what her parents had actually named her but I enjoyed this series all the same.

I thoroughly enjoyed the close of Piper's conflict with the coven that kidnapped her as an infant and caused her so much trouble the first eighteen years of her life. I will say that there were a lot of little editing mistakes that drove me a bit crazy, but doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the book. I like how things work out and what the future seems to hold for the packs, but I still feel like there were loose ends. I think I need another book! I want to just how the packs work things out, maybe see something on what appeared to be a hint of a romance between a couple side characters, visit our lovely main characters after they bring cubs into their lives, and maybe a story for Maddie. I know that's a lot, and some of that might border on spoilers (though at least I didn't give a number of main characters in the future), but that's what ran through my head when I finished the book. I will let one spoiler slip: we never do learn any other name for Piper.

On another note, the love scenes in the last two books were pretty low key. There's weren't many and they were full of heat, but not exactly explicit. There are a lot more in this one (for a reason apparently, though I thought it a little odd), though still not particularly explicit. This fact jumped out at me as a big difference from the first two books.

The conclusion to this trilogy was pretty satisfying and brough together all my favorite people. This is supposed to be the end, but I sincerely hope that there's more to come!

2 & 1/2 stars rounded up.
This book (#3) lost it's mojo for me within the series. The unique plot held my attention in the first 2 books to keep going though. I felt the flow was very erratic, and it actually lost my interest a few times. I was actually glad the book ended so I could be done & move on. Some of the guys were getting on my nerves & that pulled me out of the story. Some of the stuff going on seemed like a stretch, leaving me with questions, or making me feel like the author was trying to be a magician -pulling things out of a hat randomly, just to make things work out in the story. I didn't feel a connection to all 8 guys & Piper let alone between the 8 guys in general, in the end. Part of that disconnect, I didn't learn the story behind some of the guys, they were glossed over (snippets but not enough to know them) like they weren't as important or the line of "it's his story to tell" was given, but was never mentioned again. They still felt like 2 separate packs mutually focused on Piper. It felt like just random hookups among the 8 guys & Piper for the most part. The sexy times when the guys were wounded -to heal them -was just awkward & less believable than if she had just kissed them well the way she originally did the first guy she healed. The third pack was sort of left in limbo, leaving things unfinished in my mind for all the packs & the mention of Piper as queen. There were a lot of things left unfinished that seemed pointless, like leaving her real name a secret, or why she didn't try to find out her parents' last-name to use instead of the bad-guys last-name since Callum knew her parents...The ending left me feeling like it really wasn't an ending, I had questions, like where were they all going to live, how were they going to handle the packs after insinuating that Piper is their queen, how did her little sister, Maddie, play into the whole queen power thing, that "Rippedthroat" insinuated something about in the plot to some others -that she was also important to being near Piper? The overall treatment of this installment into the series, left me not interested in reading more in the series, even though I suspect (no confirmation that I saw) there will be books about the little sister, Maddie.

The editing/proof-reading was worse in this book than the first 2, there were a lot of mistakes I had to backtrack to try to decipher the meaning of the sentence, like 'him' & 'her' being swapped out unintentionally in sentences sort of thing. I understand that no written book is totally mistake proof, but putting out the least amount of mistakes into a published book goes a long way for me. The bad editing alone could stop me from reading more from this author, as I don't enjoy the struggle trying to read stuff that has this many errors in it.

"I wish I could be special for you."
"Don't you worry about being special, just be mine." book 1 pg. 134

"I'll kill anyone that threatens us. So you have have peace." book 2 pg. 56

**Review is shared for entire series**

Overall, I loved this series. The plot was great, most of the characters were great, the love story was swoon worthy at times. I did give this series 4 stars overall because of this. But there were some things that were lacking.

If you are looking for a shifter romance, with MANY mates, insta-love, and a damaged yet strong FMC that brings her mates together, this book is perfect for you.

The biggest thing being that the series (the first book especially) seemed super rushed. I wished it had a little more depth. Despite that, the author does do a good job of not having any huge plot holes, making the relationships feel real, and the plot does feel complete.

***Spoilers Ahead***

I also found some aspects of the FMC's relationships annoying. Kai is an assh*le throughout the entire series and literally at the end she is still saying he hates her but loves her more. Like, talk about the bare minimum.... And Piper is suchhhh a pushover with all arguments but with Kai it is super annoying. Nick and Piper's relationship is pretty much non-existent. In the first book, he is barely there, in the second book of course the Northern pack is barely with Piper, and in the third they are literally apart the entire time. I loved him but he felt like an extra character. Logan is literally so confusing. He was a complete assh*le out of NOWHERE for like one scene in the second book, and then this strong man is completely insecure in the third book. It just felt like his changed what his personality was like every other scene. Arthur deserved to grovel, and it never happened which was just a huge disappointment.

That being said, Callum, Josh, Sebastian, and Finn are perfect book boyfriends, lovelyyy.

The other thing that just kind of made me shake my head and skim was the sex scenes. Especially in the third book. This is not the first series I've read where someone has been able to heal their mate using sex, but I feel like there should be another way when it's written like the third book was. I know it's a paranormal book, it's not supposed to be believable. But a girl getting down and dirty while her sister and some of her loves are possibly hurt or dead is just... too much. And pretty much all the sex scenes are during that time so it was just weird.

I was worried I was going to have a hung book hangover after finishing this book earlier today but because there is more from this world I wasn't uber upset haha. I can't wait to dive into Maddie's story 😍😍😍

We get so much in book 3 of this PNR RH trilogy but I definitely didn't want it to end. I will say the issues I saw in book 2 was better managed in book 3. There were some issues with flow/jerky transitions, but definitely not as many as book 2 had (which is why I could up it to a five stars instead of four). We had so much action, steam, and romance, all gamuts of the emotional rainbow. I fell for more of the guys in this one, I loved each of them in their own way. I loved that Piper pushed them and wouldn't let them own her. The pack politics and the battles were intriguing, but I loved the slivers of darkness we got as a result of the witches. The creatures the wolves have to battle, I could imagine them while listening, which is always a testament to fabulous writing.

I won't give anything away in this one, but know that if you enjoyed the previous books you won't be disappointed in book 3! Maddie is gonna be fierce (and loved her vulnerability and her connection with Kai). I also loved how the alphas re-bonded and seemed to be ok for the future. Also thought it was a good job with the groups had been split up, we got guys from both packs so they saw the other in a new light, working together to protect the loved ones they lost after the big confrontation. I also liked some of the other wolves, interested to see if they show up in other books. Enjoyed the shifter aspect and the magic aspect of the storyline. Really well done and I again, didnt want it to end ❤️

Same comments for the narration as the previous books, that the female narrator was superb at 1.4-1.5X speed, and the male narrator was good but his breathing again became a nuisance and I was dreading the POV changing too much. Will still give him another chance but the female narrator was already on my one-click narrator list and she will cleatly stay there!

I really, really enjoyed this series. The plot, execution and overall writing were great. Engaging and believable characters, great, organic banter – This series had it all and I am happy I read it.

The reason I can’t give it the 5 stars is the fact that, no matter how much I suspend my disbelief, there is something I find intrinsically ridiculous about Specifically, I couldn’t help but laugh at the part where she It was well written and I understand the author had a need for Piper to share at least one intimate moment with each one of her guys, which gets tricky when you have 8 of them and only three books. But still it felt out of place – an overly-cheesy aside in an otherwise solid and believable situation.

But as I said, it was well written. Or as well written as a can ever be. It affected my reading experience enough to affect my overall rating, but it’s as YMMV as anything can be.

Regarding the audiobook narrators, I found their performances to be competent and even enjoyable, thought nothing to write home about. In fact, chances are when/if I do a re-read, it will be in written form since I believe some of the banter will work better with my own ‘inner-narrator’’s voice.

A great story

Despite the errors I found in book one and the occasional one in book two, this book and series overall was great.

It's kind of crazy to think everything changed so much from book one. Piper was in high school when she met the guys and was a bit of a loner. She had an abusive dad and had plans to get her and her sister away from him. Things changed dramatically when she learned that he wasn't her real father and that she was a shifter.

In these books, other packs are involved, mercenaries, a war, etc. So much more action than the first book (though there was some action in it as well) that they feel like almost a totally different series. You COULD have finished book one and pretended it was a standalone. The last two books are definitely a whole different ball game.

I feel that a few things were somewhat forgotten or not touched on enough. Callum and Arthur called her a shifter queen (as others mentioned as well in conversation), but nothing came of it short of her being able to command a couple of wolves and "uniting two packs." Perhaps it'll be something more relevant in Maddie's books since she's also apparently a shifter queen?

Overall, looking past the spelling mistakes (which thankfully lessen more in each book) and such, it was a really neat story!

Piper knows her father will be coming for her, there would be war. He wants her back and her sister too. regardless of the fact they aren't really related.

As this book opens, Arthur returns to the island with Maddie and Kai. Seb is helping move the women and children to the cove for protection. There's an altercation between John and Seb that has Logan shaking his head at Seb's timing in stepping up.

There is still quite a bit of animosity between some pack members and Piper. They tend to show that every chance they get. Piper finds that there is a distance between her and Maddie much like the distance between her and Kai. It seems Maddie feels she keeps leaving her, just gone without a word, even if it's to protect her. This is really not the time for such internal conflict and chances are it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Piper doesn't always think before she acts but act she does. There is much that occurs in this book, so much planning. Some goes awry and some works. The goal is always the same free everyone from the control of James Sullivan.

Something it seems will take both Piper and Maddie.

This is a breathtaking story of battles, strength, love and determination.

I’m honestly not sure what to make of this series. It started off promising, but the second book felt imbalanced. This third installment was chaos. We were just dipping our toes in all these different stories, and there was an overuse of different POVs. I felt like none of the conflicts ever reached a peak and that made it so none of the resolutions were satisfying.

For example, she’s been dealing with Kai’s drama for two books now. They mope and whine at each other then have sex. Great. Fine. Then they mope at each other AGAIN at a later time and they exchange I love yous and it’s all better now. Like, it just felt so unearned.

The conflict between Arthur and Callum felt so mild. Like, I’d be big mad. And it was frustrating because how easy would it have been for Arthur to just say “hey man. I tried. I’m sorry my dad is such a dick.” Like this huge conflict between these two packs is just a misunderstanding and really everyone is perfect and good. Don’t get me wrong, I’m good with everyone being good and there being misunderstandings. It just felt incomplete.

Maybe it’s because I read Maddie’s series first, but this was disappointing.

In this fantasy world, the heroine, Piper, and her band of 8 boyfriends must work together to keep her sister safe and defeat her "father" who is apparently not dead and has hired/force others to fight for him. The power she provides him is just too valuable. Through the story, the magic her father repressed for years to his purpose is slowly unlocked which allows her to help in different situations. Everyone is worried about her, but she turns out to be very powerful and the one in charge - which is very different than the known male dominated Alpha structure. Of course, there is a happily ever after but it is not all tied up with a bow, which I liked.

The acceptance or not of each of them to the situation of her loving ALL of them and being her own person provides some of the tension, while the rest is provided by the battles. Additionally, this book is rated MA.

3.5 stars. Conclusion of the series where Piper and her guys get their HEA. The relationship between Piper and her "new" guys continues to grow. I am, admittedly a Josh and Callum fan. I felt like the author didn't give enough time and plot to the original guys who meant so much to Piper. I get that you have to keep folding in the new guys, but... maybe 8 is just too many.

The author could have explored Piper's power a bit more - why the Shenandoah pack decides to follow her, what it truly means to be a shifter queen. It's like once the bad guy was defeated the author was in a bit of a hurry to wrap up the story.

Overall a really good series and I do want to fast foward and find out how Maddie's life turns out.

I loved this series and was hooked from book 1 Piper and her two packs of men really came to life for me I find myself caring for all of them and gong through an array of emotions with them.

The series is full of action love and lust with many twists and turns that leave you turning page after page to find out what next.

Having Read Both Pipers and Maddie s story I would love to have a book or two in the middle about why piper and Maddie are so special, How Piper set up the Academy How she lost being head of the academy. I feel there are still stories left to be told ....
Hopefully May Dawson will revisit the sisters in the future.....?

Absolutely one series to read straight thru!!

Witches, werewolves, power struggles, good and evil. This books covers this and so much more!
Stolen as an infant from her pack, Piper has no idea who she is or that her life is on a collision course with fate. She finds herself in the middle of what's left of her pack and a larger pack that want her sister.

Pack wars and evil witches all trying to capture the pack princesses and just to keep things on the edge of your seat she is fated to wolves from both packs! Oh, and they really don't like each other!

Sassy, salty, kind and sprinkled with just enough crazy to make this series a definite must read!

Not worth the stars

I wish I could put 0 stars. First off, I did not read reviews; sometimes I read reviews, and sometimes I don't. This time, I wish I did. The story was jumping around; there were too many character sidelines, and there were spelling errors. The ending made no g****** sense. Honestly, I wish I could get refunded for all 3 books because this was not worth my money. You know, the ad for this on Facebook sounded great, which is why I bought it, and I've never had to make a s***** review before, but I guess there's a first time for everything. The story 0-10
The smut level not even there was no hardly any smut 🙃

Eh, it had an HEA but...

It barely lived up to the reverse harem promised. Right up until the end of the book she was dealing with their jealousy issues and there was only a single scene with more than one guy (and it only had 1 additional person). She has 8, gorgeous sexy men and most of the sex revolves around her healing someone. I, at least, read these to live vicariously through the protagonist characters but it felt this book did not live up to the tropes of the genre it is in.

Captivating

I read this book in one sitting. It captured me from start to finish. It was exciting and you’ll feel a rollercoaster of emotions as the plot starts, unravels and concludes. Assuming all of you read the first two books..

This conclusion to Pipers story is perfect. Nothing was rushed, the story was full of surprises and all questions answered. More character development (even for background characters) and all have a purpose in the book (no useless scenes or dialogue). HEA.

I will probably reread the series again.

An exceptional ending to Piper’s journey

Piper, a pack princess with issues, is dealing with the fact that the witches she thought were gone from her life are not so distant after all. As the story progresses danger strikes from multiple sources, a deadly game of hide and seek occurs, and uniting under one pack may be the secret to their victory. May Dawson’s Their Shifter Princess; Coven’s Revenge is an exceptional ending to Piper’s journey that lays the foundation to continue the series with Maddie.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Well, the whole series sort of dissolves into the 18-year old sleeping with every. single. male. from 20 to 50 years old once she realizes she can "heal" them with orgasms, I guess? That particular magic is just not really explained. Kind of gross, imo. Again there's none of the usual shifter-book majesty of running through the woods as a wolf. All we get is that they see better and can rip out throats. Meh. Not my fav shifter series by a long shot. There's just a lot of non-plot, plain vanilla sex with a bit of plot that doesn't make much sense in this book.

Ok, I finished the series. It sucked. It had potential but grammar errors, spelling mistakes, major deficit attention to detail... The author failed miserably for the final book. We didn't even get closer. Most authors would offer an epilogue so we could learn how things turned out but this ending was horrible.
What happened to the packs?
What about Joan and Maddie?
What about Piper's name?
Her pack's name?
Yeah, there should have been closure offered to the readers that suffered until the end.

Happy New year!

Omg

I have a question for May Dawson... what was the name she wrote in the sand at the end of the book? The book is incredible! Piper and her 8 men are just wonderful. I cant wait for the story of maddie and her men, does she have men or is is just 1 man? I hope I can see a future for piper and maddie and their men in your future books! Series was great definitely in my top 50 book series!
