Every single character—barring Abriana—was a piece of garbage.

Ugly Beast (yeah, that’s what he is referred to as 90% of the time, and it does not get any less ridiculous) tells Abriana that she doesn’t need to be perfect and meek anymore, that she is no longer under the control of her father.

And then he would get mad when she exercised any of that “freedom”. He consistently referred to her as his property, controlling her in every single way. Abriana is in the same exact situation as she was before except now she’s around people who have sex around her and is allowed to cook & clean. I just felt bad for her.

The way that women were talked about in this…I have not seen that much disrespect in a long time, and this genre is no stranger to sexism, so it was a lot. I understand that it’s the environment of the club, but for Ugly Beast to refer to them as “whores,” “sluts,” “cum dumps,” and “holes” yet was regularly having sex with them reeks of dangerous misogyny. I did not like that man at all.

The premise was interesting, and I love an ugly duckling story, but I could not look past the actions of some of the characters to enjoy it. That being said, aside from a few inconsistencies, the writing is strong, the characters are consistent, and the scenes are compelling. I was never bored and I will be reading the next one, sooooo I suppose I didn’t hate it.

This book was good. Few things bothered me, such as, when Ugly Beast left Abriana and told her he will bring her food and disappeared. The hero was neglectful towards the heroine almost the first half of the book. He changed later but I just didn't like it.

I understand the heroine is plain looking, but almost in every chapter, it's mentioned she is ugly, plain-looking, worthless. It's like throwing this stuff to the reader. It's very insulting. Personally I think no one is ugly and everyone is beautiful in their own different, unique ways. So, I didn't like how the author emphasized the heroine's unattractiveness. It made me wonder how we perceive someone through how they look.

Another thing that bothered me, was the tradition of showing bloody sheets after the wedding night. I read the same kind of stuff from the author Cora Reilly and trust me it's disturbing. It's a serious issue, and I am just surprised by how these authors are using this disgusting tradition to emphasize the heroine's purity.

Other than that, I enjoyed it. It wasn't lengthy. The pace was okay, I never felt bored. The plot wasn't vague, rather prominent and clear.

This was a fast pace.. Mixed feelings book for me.. sams books sometimes their a hit or a miss for me.. i was very hyped about it. But was disappointed..

Ugly beast was well a dick.. he was sorta nice to his wife.. but he treated her like she wasn't there.. he avoid her which i hated.. i wanted to smack him and be like really asshole.. but when he finds out she went out with a girl club member dancing he gets pissed... you have woman ginding on you them flirting with you.. but she can't go dancing.. i did like he was protective of her.. thats about it really..but he was wayyy to hot cold for me.. i honestly didn't believe he deserved a 2nd chance.. he should have worked harder.. as for Abriana..i felt so sorry for her.. she grew up in a cruel world mafia world with her family abusing her, treating her badly i just wanted to save her myself.. and with everyone calling her plain ugly.. even ugly beast said she wasn't beautiful at one point.. well he wasn't a looker also.. when she thought she got some freedom with this forced marriage to ugly beast.. i wish she told off ugly...she lost so much.. and i wished she would made that jackass beg more..

Now for the positives i enjoyed the friendship between raven and Abr.. Rav always had her back was a nice friend, glad he didn't cheat or was shown getting his dick sucked before meeting Abr (i would have DNF if it happened) and the sex was hawt..

Idk if ill read more of this series if there is one..if i do only person i do wanna read is Raven only Female biker member she's cool..

I don't really know how to rate this one because I didn't like it at all but I understand it's a peculiar genre and maybe it's not my cuppa.
-the title. And the name of the hero. Who refuses to be called by any other name. oh, and he has three. one is his real name, he rejects his because of his father. The second is his chosen name and it's the one in his document. The third is the title, and it's the one he uses. The heroine calling him ugly all the book was depressing. No, it was embarassing. And it was because he was a fighter, and afterwards because he is scarred. Meh.
-The heroine. Plain, and not only in her looks, which is the minor of her faults. She's unable to do anything by herself and is a passive woman. She's a mafia princess, who's not a looker and everyone has always told her she's ugly and plain and fat and she's bumb and useless. And the thing goes on for all the book. It was tiresome. Diana Palmer's heroines are most of the time plain girls but, apart from the first pages and their first description where it's told that they are not pretty, this thing is not repeated for all the book as in this one, where it seems that all women in the world are beautiful, except her. Tiresome. And the overweight thing, this author seems to favor girls who are overweight. So I'm ok with not perfect heroes or heroine, read Elizabeth Hoyt for some very imperfect heros and plain heroines so you can learn how not to stress it too much. And how they can be wonderful and hot couples without always repeating how not beautiful and how not physically perfect they are.
And as heroines can be plain and imperfect so can heroes. Maybe an overwight heroine and a balding, bespectacled, not too tall hero would be a fair match.
- I didn't feel other than lust here, and it's mostly because the heroine was a virgin and not one of the club hos... How romantic. He's ready to kill her if the club will ask him. Veeeery romantic. Only in the last pages he tells her he's in love with her but he's not been for the most part of the book.
- The plot can be interesting if you like this kind of story, half mafia half MC mob. I don't think it's my kind of book. There are rivalry, revenge, deception, and beatings and blood and torture. That I didn't appreciate.
So, even if I didn't like the story and the characters, I think some readers could, and I won't rate this one.

I wanted a biker book, the cover looked gorgeous and the MC was scarred and imperfect - so I grabbed it.
And boy, was it a mistake!

No, no, no! No more MF biker books - I love me a possessive Alpha Male but this read reminded me exhaustively why I don't do MF books any more!!!

There was no chemistry between the MCs. The heroine was a totally meh, TSTL doormat.
The "mafia vs MC" conflict wasn't handled very well and the whole final confrontation was almost a fade-to-black one - how easy and convenient! I didn't get it. At all.

I liked Ugly Beast. He was scarred, damaged and messed up. And the kind of possessive and sensual lover I like. But for me, a possessive and growly Alpha works better in MM books.

Getting back to "my turf", so to speak, and now I have a craving for an MM biker book - Axel's Pup, here I come!

This brings us Ugly Beast and Abriana’s story. Ugly Beast is well… ugly and the Sergent at Arms of the Hell’s Bastards MC and Abriana is the mousy unattractive daughter of a Capo… and we’re reminded that these two are nothing to write home about. A LOT. The book opens with an arranged marriage set up to solidify the partnership of the MC and mafia.

This wasn't good… especially with the 4.99 price tag. The writing was clunky and wordy… and very simplistic. Ugly Beast did this, Ugly Beast did that, Ugly Beast said … and quite confusing at times.

She was the oldest of five. She had two brothers that were older than she was and already made men. She was the oldest girl. Her sister Chantel was the beauty of the family, but she was only fifteen…

Ugly Beast didn’t want her…

“She’s been taken, Ugly Beast.

It was so awkward…

Writing aside the characters were blah. Abriana was wimpy and boring. Her main personality trait was that she was unattractive. I was over it. Ugly Beast was slightly better. He was at least kind of an asshole, but it wasn’t enough.

Bottom Line- I couldn’t move past the writing and would’ve DNF’ed had I not purchased it. BUT I’m writing this after reading the next book (Smokey) and can say its writing is much better.

This is an MC romance Ugly beast is the sergeant at arms for the Hells Bastards MC, and Abriana is the daughter of a mafia capo when Abriana is thrown to the wolves in the form of an arranged marriage to solidify ties between them her whole world changes. Now married she will need to decide where her loyalties lie but both available options place her directly in the firing line putting her life in danger whatever her final choice.

My first experience with this author and the writing itself was good. This is an MC romance so all of the coarseness and behaviour was expected so didn’t phase me as It actually added to the whole realism. I mostly enjoyed this I did have a few issues with certain aspects it wasn’t the gritty dark storyline but rather the characters themselves.

Ugly Beast wasn’t the most endearing of characters that’s for sure. He initially came across as quite inconsiderate I mean he forgot to feed his new wife more bothered with partying than her comfort. He also initially was quite derogatory in his thoughts labelling Abriana weak for her behaviour rather than realising that it was ingrained by her previous abuse and actually a survival mechanism. He constantly blew hot and cold giving me bloody whiplash and with the age gap heroine(19) Hero(35) you’d think Ugly would also be more compassionate as she’s literally a baby compared to him but he is quite blunt and impatient with her on numerous occasions.

Abriana was a timid girl beaten down by life with her father used as his verbal and physical punching bag. I understood why she was this way but still wanted her to show some backbone. I then didn’t appreciate how often she is referred to as ugly plain and fat, beauty comes in many different forms and just because our girl was on the larger side and not a traditional raving beauty it didn’t need hammering home over and over, I get the point Abriana wasn’t conventionally attractive a lot of people aren’t and that’s ok.

If you like your romance all hearts and flowers this probably isn’t going to be for you, but if you like dark gritty and real this one definitely has you covered. I did like the writing style here I just wasn’t a fan of Ugly beast and Abriana as characters. I found Ugly insensitive and thoughtless whilst Abriana was a complete pushover. I mean he never even really apologised for how dismissive he was with her after all of his running hot and cold he just informed her he was keeping her and she was like well ok I’m so grateful you now love me at least that’s what I took away from this that Abriana was just happy that someone loved her rather than this being some forever love match. fortunately, these two did have plenty of chemistry together to offset this impression they just didn’t seem to have much in common otherwise.

So yeah positives and negatives for sure but this was well written with a gritty raw realism and due to that, I would definitely read this author again. This one’s really going to boil down to personal taste and what you like in your fiction and be aware this does have some triggers.

Forced together in a marriage, life is still horrible for Abriana. She's the daughter of a mafia man and has been told all her life she is nothing. Ugly Beast is a member of Hells Bastards MC and while he didn't want to marry her, he did for his club. The story was so good and kept me turning the pages. I really like Raven, the only female MC member. She befriends Abriana and tries to help her adjust to the way of life she has married into. At times, I wanted to smack Abriana and tell her to grow a backbone and stand up to Ugly because he was a jerk for most of the book BUT, you could tell he was developing feelings for her, even if he didn't want to. So what will it take for him to open his eyes and realize he loves her? All I will say is get the book and while you might be tempted to thrown your kindle, don't. Love the book and now I totally want Raven's story and Smoky's story.

Abriana and Ugly Beast

This one was rocky. Ugly Beast married Abriana as loyalty to the club. Goodness the woman you have to feel bad she was tortured her whole like. This Mafia is really bad. Beating there women and killing.

Even ugly Beast was mean to her. Always something has to happen before they get their head out of their bottoms.

"Ugly Beast" is the story of Abriana and Ugly Beast.

Wow this was different. Not sure, if in the best way.

So I think at this point I must have read over 50 SC books easily, and quarter of those are her MC series. However, this is the FIRST time the MCs are kind of unlikable, and the storyline is so brutal.

Our h is a poor 19 year old girl- beaten, ridiculed, tortured, body and ugly shamed by her family since birth, and married off as a pawn to the MC Hell's Bastards bad boy called Ugly Beast in a power struggle. She is so docile and broken that it does not take much to scare her off- the repeated physical violence she endures at the hand of her family certainly doesnt help- and to top it off, she marries a heartless bastard. After marriage, she's forced to have this ancient consummation ceremony where her hymen blood has to be shown to her mafia family- and guess what- the hero totally dry humps and hurts her, later taking the blood and cum soaked sheets to her fam.

Does she eventually find sexual satisfaction? Yes. But she is also treated like garbage by every single person except Raven, the bisexual (?) MC member of the H's club.

Let's count why I did not like the hero at all-
- He abandons the h after every sexual encounter
- After marriage, he leaves her alone many times- at one instance forgetting to feed the h and partying with OW and his club
- He frequently allows OW to grind and proposition him- but when the h tries to enjoy with Raven, has a hissy fit
- He definitely is loyal to his MC way more than the h, and has no qualms about killing her and easily admits to using her
- He verbally rejects h down every time she begs for affection, pushing her away
- He always abandons the h unless he wants to bang her
His heartless boss realizes he's being an asshole before the H does?! Really dude!

Ok, so the heroine was plain looking. Was it necessary to emphasize the point on EVERY SINGLE PAGE? It was so weird to read, and all it did was further push her already extremely low confidence.
Then there's the extreme physical violence. My heart broke at the end and she begs to die.

There are scenes where the H shows tenderness, but the next page he becomes an asshole again.

I did not believe his 180 degree change of attitude after the climax.

Also the name "Ugly" for the hero, especially when the heroine was referred to same on every other page was jarring and confusing.

Disappointed.

Ugly Beast is 35 years old and the Sergeant At Arms for the Hell’s Bastards MC. His club and Nico Garofalo, the local mob boss are forming an alliance so Nico suggests they seal their deal with a marriage. Vigo is one of Nico’s Capos and he has a 19 year old virgin daughter named Abriana. Smokey is the President of the MC and he volunteers Ugly Beast to marry Abriana. In her world the men have all the power and women are commodities to be sold or passed around for their use. Abriana was a disappointment to her family especially her father who was verbally and physically abusive to her. The other women felt sorry for her, for the life she was about to have as an old lady to an MC member. But she was actually excited and a little scared about what the future had in store for her.

A Five Starred Novel by Sam Crescent. Ugly Beast is a full length MC Novel. Delicious and Yummy in its own way, @authorsamcrescent once again releases a jaw dropping love story. A foceful marriage between Abriana and Ugly comprises of emotional turbulence from audience. At times, I wanted to just smack my Kindle in order to hurt Ugly. Damn his fine ass! 🌟

Addiction and Obsession are two of the most common aspects for Sam's fans whenever reading her books. This book will make sure you surpass that. It's a story which will make you sexually frustrated but at the same time extremely wet, panty melting wet, I repeat. I enjoy this woman's writing technicality. It made me fall into the love hole, deeply. Truly. Congratulations on a fanstastic release, once again hun.

A page turner in itself, it'll be hard to put this book down. What happens when the man who doesn't want a wife or wishes to fall in love goes through the phase of both? With forbidden vibes, he manages to jump through the loopholes only to end up without her. It's now or never. How will he fight for her? How will he save her from the evil lurking just right around the corner? Read #uglybeast to know more.

Hero cheats the night after they get married and he takes her virginity. He sticks the heroine in his room in the clubhouse and then goes downstairs to get a naked lap dance from the club whores.

That’s cheating and he did it with her right upstairs. She comes downstairs looking for food and sees him.

I've read the second book in this series, Smokey, several times. It was finally time I read the first book.

Ugly Beast (biker, jerk) is forced to marry Abriana (virgin, unloved mafia daughter) by MC Prez, Smokey. Smokey is a complete and utter d*ck in this book. Completely different from how he was in book 2. Anyway, it's the typical Sam Crescent book where the FMC believes she's fat, ugly, and useless. Ugly Beast doesn't do much to convince her otherwise. He tells her that she's not those things, while also saying she's not beautiful and not much to look at. It made me pretty sad for her. So they get married and he goes about wanting to live his life and keeping her separate. She becomes friends with Raven. There's a mafia war going on between her father and the MC. Pretty standard story for SC. Ugly Beast pushes her away after she falls for him and it was pretty painful. He is such a bastard. So she gets kidnapped and hurt and he barely confesses he loves her. You literally just told her you want nothing to do with her and couldn't wait to get rid of her, now you love her. Ok.

There was some decent sex. I thought all the comments on how ugly Abriana is was a little too much. You don't really need this book to understand Smokey's book, but it is interesting.

I will seen read the others. Was this 5 star? No. But let’s not forget that 3 stars is an average read. So I liked this book enough to read the rest in the series and also check out her connecting MC series. It’s good. I’m content and like the characters.

Defn a lot of ups downs and sideways. Lots of draw dropping stuff where I can’t believe she forgives etc

But. The grovel. I always like me a grovel. So here I am. Lol

The couple: Ugly Beast and Abriana

Romance trope: MC/Mafia/arranged marriage
Series: Hell's Bastards MC
Length: 231 pages

Plot: Ugly Beast's MC is trying to close a deal with the mafia, and in order to do that, have to marry one of the mafia daughters. Abriana is thrust at a reluctant Ugly Beast, who never had any intention of getting married. Abriana deserves better but doesn't realize it and the two alternately clash and support each other, knowing that they are the best chance for the MC to flourish and Abriana to survive.

Commentary: I get it - they were all bad guys. But I hated how Ugly Beast kept saying that he'd kill Abriana if he had to. Also, how many times do we need to hear that she's ugly? Everyone was just awful to her. I can't believe she was so hideous that her family was okay with just throwing her away. That's usually how this author's stories go though; the heroine is ugly and fat and nobody loves her. The only thing that saves this for me is having read the next book, I know that Ugly Beast is desperately in love with Abriana.

This time, he cupped her face with both hands. “In a world dominated by men, you are still walking. Still talking. You’re strong. Vigo didn’t break you. This world has not broken you.”

Grammar/formatting: needed another pass with the proofreader

Next book in the series: Smokey

Truely Terrible! Badly Written Rubbish!!!!!

The wording used was so simple and basic I cringed with embarrassment that anyone would publish this rubbish. There's huge plot problems and inconsistencies, like the club prez wants to use Abriana to get information about the mafia but the author also states that women mean nothing to the mob, are told nothing, and are just used as pawns, so obviously then Anriana wouldn't know any information. The author forgets what she has written from one page to the next so many times I lost count, like his prez orders Ugly Beast (stupid name) to charm her but he doesn't, he leaves her at his house for days, never seeing her, completely ignoring her. Then Abriana's sister, she's really sweet to Abriana the morning of her wedding, telling Abriana that sex can be nice, not to believe the horror stories the other women are telling her and not to worry etc, but the very next morning she's a vicious bitch to Abriana, laughing that her first time hurt, calling her ugly and plain etc.. she's a completely different character from the first time. Ugly Beast says after he took her virginity he couldn't sleep all night it was such a disaster yet later he says he took her virginity then fell straight asleep?

There are so many times like these that this author completely forgets what's she's already written before, changing it in the space of just a few pages. It's so unprofessional. I guess that's what happens when you churn out three books a month like this author does, which I noticed while checking out the books reviews after I had read it, which I did because I was that shocked at how poor and unprofessional this was I wanted to see what other readers said. Clearly this so called author has no standard of excellence, no standards at all actually, and doesn't care to put in even the bare minimum of attention to her books.

The author also makes her character's morons, like when her father goes to the trouble of sending men to keep the club busy so they don't know he's been to see her but he beats her, leaving bruises as evidence that he had been to visit her!? Then her trying to cook chicken and mash potatoes but can't get it right any of the ten times she tries?! TEN?! Despite having recipe books and the cooking channel?! Just awful rubbish! There are also missing words, letters missing from words, wrong words and wrong plurals used etc.The author even forgets to capitalize her own characters name. There's been no editing done. There's just nothing good about this book! It's disgraceful and shocking how bad this is and disgraceful its6been published.Really not happy that I was charged almost £4 for this complete rubbish! I'll be demanding my money back!

This book sucked donkey balls. Anyone who rated this well has either never read a good MC book, can’t recognize good writing - period, or is so high on Sons of Anarchy that they’ll read any old MC tripe. I put it away to DNF, when someone in a Dark Romance FB group mentioned it in a thread and said the second book in the series, “Smokey,” was a 5⭐️ read for them. Soooo, I picked it back up and powered through.

It only got worse.

It started out with terrible writing. That didn’t change. What got worse was that suddenly, clumsy mistakes were made in the writing and plot. Characters were introduced that we knew nothing about. Characters made absolutely ridiculously stupid decisions. And while I really love *some* MC series, I just can’t buy into the idea that an MC could take on the mafia.

If your MC has just discovered THREE undercover rat mafia prospects, why would you let the FMC leave the clubhouse with a prospect you’ve never seen before? Just because he says he’s been there two months already? At a critically dangerous point? And what map was he holding? What the fuck was going on? Was something rewritten in a hurry and mistakes left in?

I did like that the MMC was an unrepentant asshole through most of the book. But the fact that at 83% he was thinking this:

“She meant nothing to him. They were not going to be in a relationship for long, and once they took care of her father, she would be free to live her own life. She wouldn’t be forced to live with him or to be married to him. He didn’t need a woman anyway. He never had.”

And then at 93% he’s saying this:

“‘I’m in love with you. I want to be with you. I want you as my old lady, by my side, wearing my ring, and my patch.’”

…well, it makes one wonder when he fell in love. Because during that 10% she was kidnapped, nearly beaten to death, in the hospital, and then had almost no contact with the MMC.

Then they fuck and he knocks her up immediately, of course, and the epilogue is her having a beautiful baby girl exactly nine months later. 🙄

There was so much going on. The underage girls, the other MC that’s not really fleshed out or dealt with, the ending battle that is skipped over entirely because the FMC is told to close her eyes (what an author cop out!!!), the dead sister that the FMC doesn’t appear to deal with, and who the fuck is Drago? If he will “find someone else to take over the mafia,” then why isn’t he in charge? This whole book was a badly written shitshow.

“Smokey” better be good or I’m gonna cut a bitch.

I couldn’t stand the male lead.

I gave a low rating to this book because I didn’t like the characters. The storyline itself was interesting and kept me reading it straight through. It was also a full story so it wasn’t over nearly as soon as I started it, like most of Sam Crescent’s books. Or leave me looking for another story two hours after I began reading it.

Having said what I did like, I want to stress again that I disliked the male lead. He was either bipolar or just a chauvinistic jerk who was not worthy of a romance story. He would sweet talk the female lead and show her how kind he was and then when he got “moody” he would say how much he didn’t want her. Usually in a very mean way. Or he would constantly tell her how he was going to kill her if she gave him cause.

I’m sorry but that’s just abusive behavior and not something I want to read in a male love interest. Really, how was he different from her father. Two styles of abuse, but STILL abuse!

The author kept stressing that the female lead was ugly or so plain that she was “unworthy”. I didn’t care for this demeaning character description. Her and the male leads looks were the central character description of this book. I didn’t find that it was over come either. The story ended with the implications of two uglies make a beauty. Smdh. Okay then...

Besides that, the female lead was so beat down that I couldn’t relate to her. When the author started to get her growing the male lead would step in and interrupt her growth and development. I also didn’t care for the fact that she forgave the male lead so easily at the end either. That part should have been dragged out way longer than it was. A super traumatic event happened to her and it was brushed off with a simple and short timeline jump. That was when I was just over this book.

I’m sure this retarded story is someone’s cup of tea. With all the continuity issues and the less then worthy characters I can assure you it’s not mine. I’ve stated my peace, enjoy if you can.

A match meant to be

This book is a bit dark and features an MC and the mob, all those things we love from this author. I love how an unexpected match ends up being what both of them need to find the HEA they both so richly deserve. I can’t wait to read what this author comes up with next.

I wanted to love this... or to maybe like if not love, but it was just ok. The ending was abrupt and I did not felt the connection between the hero and the heroine. Maybe next time!

I want to say this is just an easy read and in some ways it is but in others it’s not. The writer is hyper focused on certain aspects of the story, explaining them in great detail and then completely glossing over other aspects that would build a clearer picture for the reader. With a little additional world building this would be a pretty good book. There are aspects of the book I don’t understand either. Such as why his name is Ugly Beast. From the MC books I’ve read before, members’ names are usually chosen or given when they are patched in and yet Ugly Beast is only ugly because of things he’s done while protecting the club. If he was handsome when he patched in, which is kind of what the story suggests, then why the name? Okay, so that might be a minor issue but it was one that really stood out and – possibly unjustifiably – annoyed me.

I also didn’t like how conflicted Ugly seemed to be when it came to Abrianna, as he’d say and do one thing and then completely contradicted himself. While some of it could have been an act on his part, it came across to me as the writer creating conflict for conflicts sake, as I truly believed he liked her. So either he had no idea how he actually felt, or it was just poorly written. I tend to think it was more of the latter if I’m honest. To sum up, an interesting story, I just think a few small re-writes could improve it.

Trigger warning: Physical and sexual abuse.

1.5 satrs this made me want to punch someone
the two main lead get married not by choice
- the F lead look i understand she got it really bad with a father like the shit she had there is no way you can go unaffected by him but the " i'm useless thing " did go for to long it was mentioned like in every page she kept saying that shit till the end !. i wanted her to bloom and get confident in herself i'm not saying she should turn into a bad ass female lead and start kicking ass but there was almost a zero progress in her personality , maybe because of the time line but still 99.99% of the story she was chanting the same words she barelly did a thing to improve herself if we count her trying to learn cooking, making coffee and starting the washing machine, also when the M lead or her freind tried to teach her things she was so nervous and scared she wanted to stop just so to get rid of her feelings girl ok i get it if you want to take your time in learning but the things is she kind of didn't want to learn don't you want to get some freedom ? get independent in some ways?! this is your chance! . that a side she let the M lead off the hook way to easy with what he said at the end .
- the M lead was a mix in between but one thing for sure he did not take it in a good way when someone hurted the F lead physically or mentally , he'd bit them or let them hear his opinion . also he didn't let her say bad things about herself and he was open to help her learning any thing ifff she wanted. what i didn't like in him that he was some time hot and the next time cold , one time he cares the next he say some thing make you belive he don't . the same thing up till the end he stayed like that .
- i didn't see them grow to fall in love with each other there was no indice about it i didn't feel emotional reading this apart for wanting to hit the father and some time the leads , the love for me was simply not there

Ugh.

I wanted a great book to hit my 100th reading challenge book. Instead I got this.
Contradictory writing, like the author forgot she had written one on her characters doing or saying something, then having them do or say the complete opposite, only chapters later. The MCH was a bit of a dick all in all,and the writing style drove me nuts. This was a whole novel filled with statements, not sentences.
And the H's name! Give me a break.

I doubt I'll be reading any more by this author.
