I'm honestly kind of Disappointed in this book. I was at the library and I saw a book series I haven't read since I was 8 years old! I have super awesome memories of me reading the Geronimo Stilton series and this was one of the books I haven't read yet so I got it! However the book wasn't like how I expected. I understand the plot of the story: its Geronimo's birthday but things go terribly wrong however they didn't do a very good job writing the story. Well honestly the beginning was pretty good and matched with the plot but then they kept introducing so many new characters and some of them only showed up once. For example characters like madame no, who only shows up at the restaurant even though they described her as this super important character or Geronimo's brother who only shows up at the very end of the book. And then all of the sudden there's this character that's supposed to be Geronimo's best freind but he literally Never shows up in the other books but I Don't know personally I don't like this book but maybe it's ment for other people or little kids but I don't recommend it.

it was very funny book as one person gave Geronimo a rupee for looking for her nephews acting in circus . But the money was on toy land rupees as wherever he goes he gave money everyone were thinking how strange so everyone called him Dr FalseFur

In this adventure Geronimo has what I would classify as the worst birthday ever. Forced to drink a disgusting pop by his new neighbors, Geronimo discovers that his wallet has been switched with one full of counterfeit money, fake checks, a fake debit card, and a fake ID. An interesting mystery about a circus, a family, and rich people behaving badly.

This was fun. I'm amazed there are 74 of these! No wonder the world is so large to explore and enjoy. My kids loved the pictures, loved the funny sounds, and it was just enough of a mystery to entice them. She immediately asked for another one.

Read this as a read aloud to my 6 year old.

It was fun to see him try to figure out the mystery, laugh at the banana car and enjoy each of the characters.
