Perhaps one of the most gentle and yet powerful books on Christian spiritual warfare I have ever come across. Gail draws from her years of theological study and cultural understanding as she adds layer upon layer of Biblical truth, starting from the initial revelation that we ourselves are beloved, right through to our need to surrender to the Beloved, Jesus. And yet this is no dry textbook. Gail has included many personal testimonies and deeply private poetic thoughts which serve to soften the reader to the touch of the Holy Spirit, highlighting areas for change and realignment. The result? An intimate, tender encounter with the Beloved Warrior Himself.
