Explains the physiological basis of acne, details a comprehensive treatment that includes information on which over-the-counter products to use and how to use them, and offers advice on rebuilding self-esteem
Ok, this book only gets three stars because it is a self-help book. I love self-help books, so I've read quite a few all the way through, but this is one of the few that I've read several times. It is without question THE BEST book I've ever read for clearing acne (and I've read quite a few). I decided when I was about fifteen that I felt serious about fixing this problem that I had and I absolutely devoured this book. It's kind of old, but the guy knows what he's talking about! You have to read the WHOLE thing, though. You can't just skip parts because he talks about alot of things that you really need to understand in order to solve the problem. Whenever I've gone off of any of his advice, I start having problems again. I'm telling you now, if you have this problem and you are serious about fixing it, READ THIS BOOK THROUGH and follow it!
