This book was given to me courtesy of the author in exchange for a honest review. The storyline started off a bit slow, but once I started getting into it, I wasn’t able to put it down. Tisha and Chase’s love story started on a bad note but with obstacles in their path and a mutual love for Chase’s son, it was eventually something neither of them expected to experience. I can’t wait for the second book to come out to continue with this story.
This Read was outstanding. However there were some spelling and error issues throughout the book but it sure didn’t stop the good quality action and romance that transpired through this book to alter at all. Trisha I feel like is in a way an ultra ego of mine especially when it comes to her love for children and teaching which is something I have done myself for over a decade and I feel as though she has inspired me to do what I was born to do but in a different way. There is also Chase who is the father of one of Trisha’s second grade students; Thomas who is such a caring sweetheart and just reading his character truly touched my heart. I absolutely love Chase and how is heart and mind matured so nicely for not just for Thomas but for Trisha as well. This book had a really good family dynamics in it as well as lessons to be taught and learned when it comes to matters of the heart. I cannot wait to check out the sequel and see how Trisha, Chase, Thomas and Trisha’s siblings turned out. I will be reading a lot more books from this author at any given time. This was such a heart felt, inspired, family dynamic love story type of read.
Chase Alton was not a very likable hero at the start, and I had a hard time believing Tisha Jameson would ever be attracted to him. But when everything came crashing down around her, Chase stepped up and earn the name of hero. Whatever May Come, was an enjoyable read, the ending was intense and had me on the edge of my seat. If you like books with good family dynamics this is the book for you.
Although some parts of the story seemed to drag a bit, I enjoyed reading the story. There were several spelling errors and words missing, but I was able to understand what was meant. The teacher's aide was such a horrible person, I pray I never come in contact with someone who acts the way she did in this story. Overall a good read.
Whatever May Come (The Jameson Family Series Book 1) was hard for me to read, but in the best way. It challenged me to consider the viewpoint of someone from a completely different background, which at times can be uncomfortable when it forces us to face the harshness that can be someone else’s reality. Tracee offers us the perspective of Tisha, a Black female professional with aesthetic considerations from an old injury. But for everything that may have been a notable aspect of a life-journey completely different from mine, she gives us moments and situations that any person can connect with. The importance of family, forgiveness, patience, acceptance, success, kindness, and, of course, love...the cornerstone of any romance. It is in these moments that people can acknowledge our differences and embrace those things we have in common. If you like a story that highlights a perspective which may be different from yours and explores love in a sweet, faith-grounded delivery, you’ll enjoy Whatever May Come as much as I did.

I love this cover and the catch phrase on cover had me really. Intrigued. This book did not grab me or hold my interest at all. I struggled to finish this book. This is not to say that you might not enjoy it. I recommend that you read it and judge for yourself.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

A very good read! The Jameson’s are a tight knit, protecting each other type of family. Family members may get a little space, but they gotta know that there will be family check-ins. This family experiences many fires and tribulations, but yet they come thru ahead with burns and scars. They are not the quitting kind. Ms. Tisha Jameson certainly has enough drama to just throw in the towel-but yet she pushes ahead. With her easy to like and easy to love self, former NFL player Chase Alton is hooked. Oh boy is hooked bad. But the Jameson Clan seems to have that affect. Chase goes from being ready to hash it out with Ms. Tisha Jameson to bring instantly smitten. The story has a good plot and set of bad actors to keep you flipping the pages. Follow this family as they come together to make lemonade from the lemons that are rolled in their direction .
Wow! The colorism was literally less than two Kindle swipes into this book.
The description of Tish LITERALLY started with “she had to be so thing other than African American” because of the color of eyes, then segued immediately into it being “silly” for a Black man to prefer Black woman.
The author LITERALLY created an acronym—BWOB (Black women only brotha 🙄)—then proceeded to knock Black women’s features by describing Tish as being somehow superior to unambiguously Black women.
I refused to finish the book and won’t be reading this author again.
I like when a new author and series starts in a good way. Honesty, I only had minimal cause to get in my feelings about the story. The writing was fluid and the storyline was good. Even though the leading lady had some issues from a bad experience, she was still bad as f... I really enjoyed her chutzpah. The leading man was no slough as well. With the exception for his foot in his mouth comment early on, he was a solid dude. I am ready to delve into this series.
I had some major issues with this book. The biggest was probably that besides Thomas, Chases child, I did not like the main characters. Chase's judging people by their skin tone is off-putting. The story isn't really believable and the writing is mediocre at best - and this is a revised rewritten version of a book the author wrote 19 years ago ...
Sometimes life gets worse before it gets better. Trish had seemed to be facing the worst most of her life but God still blessed her with a loving heart towards children. Teaching gave her a satisfaction that helped her push beyond understanding and brought her the love of her life. Don't give up on life. I enjoyed all the turns and exciting moments in this book
Turns is a recovering burn victim with a big heart and hand with children. The story reads easy and is interesting. There were several instances that pointed to Jester as an accomplice to Andreas crimes that didn't follow the storyline. I liked the strategy of the plot for the most part.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s the first one I’ve read by this author but I’m already downloading my next one. The characters and storyline were well developed. Looking forward to the next installment.
Chase seemed more concerned about Tisha being hurt instead of his son being hit by a teacher. Even when it came down to protection, he kept saying it was for Tisha instead of his son and Tisha.
