Humorous doodle-answers to life's most common questions, such as why umbrellas are unreliable, why rats have to get their hair done, or why children refuse to eat big burgers.
There’s probably no other book quite like “Creatures Give Advice.” Members of the Twitterverse were asked to submit a question and Ms. Greenberg responded not only with a witty and sublime answer, but a unique doodle that captured the essence of the question and response. Little did I know initially, the questions, responses, and doodles were to be gathered up into the “Creatures Give Advice” book I now have in my Kindle. I highly recommend this book to readers of all ages. It’s something we desperately need in the age we now find ourselves. Not so much a distraction, but rather an affirmation for each of our souls. We all ask these questions, but too often we don’t receive the answers we need. (Full disclosure: my question and Ms. Greenberg’s response are included in the book.)
Just gave this short book another read. Greensburg was a part of our writing community and always came up with these fun, philosophical, and slightly whimsical doodle creature wisdoms which offered interaction with the community. The book is fantastic for kids or adults -- a reminder to not take yourself too seriously and that imagination and freedom or equally as important to life as intellectualism and scientific thought.
