People always say that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That was exactly the case for me when I was offered a free place to stay in the tiny, eerie town of Willow Tree. That house, as it turned out, was occupied by six of the Seven Deadly Sins. What about the seventh? Oh, you know, she just crawled out of a chained coffin beneath the church and back into the hearts of the Sins that I had come to claim as my own. The guys don’t see it, but I know that Lillith is up to no good, especially since I’m sure that she’s behind my recent kidnapping. Something isn't right with her and I know it's going to end up getting the men I love killed. Now it’s up to me and my two new, unexpected allies to reveal the truth about the Sin of Lust and get my Sins back for good. Right after I kill my father and my ex-fiancé.
Sweet baby lanta. If anyone could come help me pick my jaw up off of the floor I’d greatly appreciate it. Not only were we being blindsided by revelation after revelation, but Jenica couldn’t break tradition and had to rip our hearts out at the last very second. The masochist in me was screaming “ Yas Queen”, while the heart broken side of me wants to get stabby with a pitchfork.
When your nightmares have been brought into reality, how do you move forward? Ria isn’t the same woman she was when she left home, when she left Lex. She refuses to ever sit still and accept the abuse she was subjected to in her past. Her options are to escape or die trying, but never will she let anyone have power over her again. The sins have given her a glimpse of what real love is, and dammit she deserves nothing less than that. Ria is strong, she is patient, and she is a fighter. She’s willing to do whatever is necessary to get back to her sins, she’s not giving up on them yet.
I swear each book has me falling for the sins all over again. This book Beck, Gatlin, and Eliam stole the show for me. It’s interesting to see how they’ve grown since book one. Not only as a family, but individually. You can tell they want to grow not only for themselves but for each other and Ria. The love and care they have found with Ria has helped make them a family together. Sometimes it’s hard to see that until that person is pulled from the equation. They all still have plenty to learn and overcome before they can truly become an unbreakable unit.
Not so honorable mentions. Cardboard Douche, I haven’t wanted to strangle a character this badly in a long time. I can’t mention LILLITH without my phone autocorrecting it to all caps, it’s because my phone knows my hatred for her deserves capitalization.
This book was quite the emotional rollercoaster and has brought forth some shocking realizations. I don’t care how emotional that ride was, I’m ready to ride again. With the new revelations I feel like Jenica has a few cards up her sleeves for lovely sins, and she’s only just getting started. Waiting for the next book is going to test my patience. Sweet lanta my body is ready.
I have read and bought book 1 to this series and somehow I missed book 2 but now I’m onto book 3 so I’m a little bit confused with a few things but that is my own fault not this authors I say that because it’s true, I have missed so much by jumping onto book 3 but I will get book 2 and start all over again. Lilith is back in the picture and the other sins don’t see what Rita does she believes that the sin of lust is out to cause trouble, Rita has been kidnapped and she believes that Lilith has something to do with that and her sins are lost without her. This is an amazing story/ series and I will make sure that I get my hands on book 4 I don’t want to miss out on the next exciting story in this series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I am enjoying this series quite a bit. I love the growth all characters have shown in this one. I love to hate a well-written bad guy and the bad guy in this one is well freaking done. I just want to watch the b burn.
This is only because I’ve been reading the books back-to-back, but I do recall in a previous book that she mentioned waking up and having the phone numbers to all of the guys written down on a piece of paper by her phone, and then she calls one of them. In this book she claims she only had her friends number and had no idea that the guys even had phones. So that mix up threw me off and it took me a bit to get back into the action momentum I was in. Other than that, a good read.
We've all heard of the 7 sins and how we should always avoid functioning from these vices.
Well people this is a whole new take on the concept of the 7 sins. In this series they are embodied as immortals to help maintain the balance of good and bad. What a book!!! The plot, writing, characters everything seems flawless. No word, no sequence, no character is placed where they should not be.
Sadly this is the 1st book in the series that I've read and I'm sad that I missed the other books in the series.

Ria is pretty fantastic at least that is my opinion anyway. The 6 deadly sins made me mad at the end of the last book especially Pride. They kind of redeemed themselves slightly in this one. Rory what can I say about him, all I can say is he is pretty awesome and I think he needs included in Ria's harem, just saying lol. Although the end almost stopped my heart with him and now I need the next book. I need to know what is going to happen with that situation. Lilith that conniving witch, I hope she gets what is coming to her. I definitely need more now book 4 can't come soon enough!
I have been waiting to catch back up with Ria and the Sins since the last book ended. We pick up with her being kept as a prisoner though no one really knows it. At the same time the guys are adjusting to having Lilith back with whether they want her or not. We get quite a bit of emotional stuff and dealing with the past this go around as each different part has to deal with issues before moving on. Of course the still hidden secrets do not make anything better and it is rush to find answers before it is too late. The next book is going to be fantastic!! I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
OHMYGODS! Damn cliffhangers. I can't wait until June for the next book.
The last book ended with Ria being abducted by her crazy ex, but where he took her was a huge surprise. Ria now has to face old demons as well as new ones.
This book had me almost biting my nails, which I don't do. It really had me going.
I highly recommend this series as well as the authors other books. You won't regret it.
The twist! Ria & co! The new big bad! WHAT?! Book 4 can't come soon enough. No spoilers here, just read The Deadly Omen series, it won't disappoint. I believe it picks up a couple of weeks later from that cliffhanger left in book 2. Ria seems to weigh the solution & seems to find a way to get out of a pickle even if it's not the most conventional way, but sometimes, she makes rash decisions. Ria completes the 6 Sins even if they don't want to admit it.
I absolutely love this series. However I had to deduct a few points because of a few inconsistencies between the books, like the author didn't keep notes from her previous novels. The main one, was how the Sins couldn't have children, but in book 2 there was a full chapter from Gray's POV where he talked about the wife he had and the daughter they birthed. Other than an handful of inconsistencies like that I loved the book.
Seriously, can we be friends? I mean Ria’s personality is bomb. And she actually shows the boys in this book she can ha duke herself. No need to have them taking care of her demons, she’s got that handled. I loved the crazy twist and my heart hurt for a certain character! You’re just gonna have to read it to know what I’m talking about.
So Ria is a kick butt heroine that doesn’t need no man... no she has six orrrr is it seven? Yeah let’s go with seven because in this book we finally see Rory showing his good side (literally) I love this book as much as I loved the first two and can’t wait for Rita’s story to continue.
I've been a big fan of the series so far, but book 3 took so long coming out that I had to go back and read book 2 again just so I could remember what happened leading up to book 3. This one seemed too short. Not sure if I'm going to continue the series now or not.
Sinister by Jenica Saren is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number three in this wonderful series that I have so enjoyed reading.I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dark and paranormal romances in their stories.

Lilith is a nuts absolutely nuts . Thank the goddess for Rory & Drea because Ria would be lost without them. Those six deadly sins need to wake the fu(k up and realized what going on around them. Can’t wait for the next book.
Good follow up story after Ria was kidnapped. Finally figured out who Lilith is/isn’t. The book was mostly about Ria, her family and who/what she is and not a lot of connection with her and the Sins. Will read the next.
I loved book 3 of the Deadly Omen series. The book really reminded me why I picked up the first in the series, these characters are really awesome. Ria is one of my favorite FMCs, she's just so sassy. I also loved the role Rory played in this part of the story. I cannot wait for the next book!
Rhea and the sins are back! This book jumped back in where the last book left off and Rhea has a mess to deal with, plus Lillith in the mix. The development of the story has been great and I love the supporting characters in this book. This series has me hooked and I'm anxious for the next one.
This series keeps getting better and better. This book starts where the last one left off . It is non-stop from page one. It is a short read. I can't wait for the next book because that cliffhanger😮
Excellent read, this is a book that stands out as something special. Great story, well plotted and unmissable. If I had a hard copy, it would probably be dog-eared by now.

Everyone who loves broody men, a loving friend, a hottie manager who is not who he makes out to be and more questions than answers, this is THE book for you, well after you read the other 2 offcourse
My heart hurt for Ria, when the guys didn´t come for her. And didn´t even think of checking how her clothes could have disappeard without they knowing it for example. I really like how the author make their own version of the 7th sins, i am so invested in this story
Holy sin!! This book was amazing!! The TWIST!! I DIDNT EVEN SEE IT COMING!! Like, WHAT!! And Rory!! He needs to be in the Harem!! And holy sh!t THAT ENDING!!!
This was a great read! I couldn't stop reading! I love the relationship she has with the guys. This book did have more heartache but totally worth the read!
I was so upset with the cliff hanger and I couldn’t wait for the next book and I’m so happy to have it. Was amazing and made my soul sad at that ending. Can’t wait for more!
Very 1-dimensional annoying evil characters in this book, and the plot was rather unfulfilling. The way that characters were killed off was very blase, and I didn't feel very emotional about their deaths.
The huge plot hole that kept bothering me was that Ria claimed that she didn't have any of the Sin's numbers... yet in the second book, I distinctly remember her calling Beck to come back to the house after Kellan left a list of numbers under her charging phone. Additionally, she acts like she never knew they had phones... Ria had seen them pull out phones in the previous books before... like to take a selfie in book 2??? *face palm*
A little disappointed that the series hasn't held up well compared to the first book, but I will continue to read the next novel just to find out what happens to poor supportive Rory. -------- Ratings - abandoned series: #1 Sinless: ★★★★☆ #2 Sinful: ★★★★☆ #3 Sinister (this book): ★★★☆☆ #4 Sinsyne: ★★☆☆☆
