Small-town romance, set in magical Norway!

One Indian beauty, one pregnancy, and two women in love with the same man!

The exotic Divya pays Tony and the idyllic town of Solvik an unexpected visit. As it happens, Tony has moved on with his life. He can't imagine a future with someone he no longer loves, regardless of her being pregnant with his child and without a possibility of returning home to India.

Annabel works with Tony in the spa department at Sea Breeze Hotel & Spa. Trying to support them both, she ends up having strong feelings for Tony, which doesn't help the difficult situation at all.

Will they succeed in solving their challenges to everyone's satisfaction, and will they find happiness?

Time for Challenges is the sixth book in the Solvik series - contemporary small-town love stories with a dash of suspense. It's a stand-alone novel.

Very interesting love triangle.
The romance was sweet and very practical all through.
The story has Divya, Tony and Annabel in the love triangle. The thing I liked most about the story was that there were no melodramatic or cringeworthy moments in the love triangle. Beautifully brought out romance.
Enjoyed it.

An excellent return to idyllic Solvik. It's a story of hopes and dreams, of finding happiness in unexpected places. Like every book in the series, it's truly believable and easy to relate to. There's also a much-needed reminder of how withholding or altering the truth can profoundly affect others.

Barfelt superbly masters intertwining new characters with by now familiar figures. She introduces us to exotic cultures and traditions, skillfully explaining how the consequences of choices made can differ in various countries.

As always with series, I recommend starting with book 1, although they are all concluding stories. Enjoy!

After the last book in the series, I was interested to see what subject the author would tackle this time. I never thought it would be an unplanned pregnancy! Set in the beautiful fictional town of Solvik, this story follows the trials and tribulations of Tony, Divya and Annabel. Other characters pop in from previous books, adding a touch of familiarity, and new ones are introduced.
Once again Barfelt has created a touching story, taking the reader on an emotional journey as Tony, Annabel and Divya try to work through their problems and find a solution. There are highs and lows, and a bitter-sweet ending that will tug at your heartstrings.
I love this series and can't wait for the next one, even though it will be the last. I'll be sorry to say goodbye to all the characters I've come to know over time! Highly recommend.

Lovely Story

Love triangle between Annabelle, Tony, and Divya. Divya, turning up out of the blue --- pregnant, caused a lot of trouble in Tony's life. Tony, who is Annabelle's boss --- although she does most of his work --- turned to her for guidance. Annabelle and Tony soon begin to realise they were falling in love. How can they deal with this situation? Annabelle likes Divya and she tells Tony to sort things out between himself and Divya. He admits he doesn't love Divya, but he wants to be there for the baby.
I don't want to put any spoilers, but if like 'love triangles', you won't be disappointed. It's worth the read.

Not your usual romance.

A great taste of Norway with well honed characters . The love triangle was sweet with no ridiculous misunderstandings. A plot that was very thought provoking and easy to relate to. This was a fun read and kept me up till way past bed time.

Back to Solvik

I loved getting back to what I expected in the Solvik series. Annabelle and Tony’s story was a roller coaster of emotions on their way to their HEA. I recommend reading Time for Challenges.
