It's definitely an OTT story with an OTT hero a d likable heroine. Short, sexy and fun to read. Just what I love to read.
It's about Luke and Zoe.
He owns a real estate empire. He's a very rich and powerful man. And when he saw her across from his building, he can't look away. He buys the company she's working for, Crowns and Piper Furniture.
She's just out of school and it took her forever to find the job. She's in the business development department and she's worried she'll lose the job now that it's sold. But when she sees the new boss, will she let him own her? Will she want him too?
It's not the first time I've read a book like it but I still loved it. I liked that he knew what he wanted and will stop at nothing to have her. I also liked her.
It has a cute epilogue.

I got this free from signing up on the email.. this is a super quick super fast pace book.. now remember if your not into super OTT alpahs just pass.. i enjoy this since their short and fluffy..

I like my heroes to want their heroine so much, they want the best for her, always, so this book clearly wasn’t for me. He was obsessed, which I love, but he was so ready to force her if she wasn't on the same page as him. I didn’t like that, and this kind of novellas are so personal that either they are or they aren’t your type; there’s no in-between.
Just a couple of quotes that didn’t rub well on me:

I always say don’t yuck my yum, and I understand some people won’t find a problem in those quotes, so, if you like that kind of hero, go and read it; it is really fast-paced and hot, even though it could be hotter (but it is a really short novella), plus it's free when you sign up for the newsletter :)

It’s a bastard thing to do, but I’ll always treat her well. That I promise her.

Caveman looses his mind and grabs his junk. He demands his assistant go buy the company just so he can “own” the woman. Mind you, he doesn’t even know the name of the company. Now you know he has too much money if he can just throw millions at an owner just to gain access to a woman, instead of maybe walking over there and introducing himself like a normal man.
Seriously, dude was a psycho. He sees her and wants her - end of story. He has the audacity to have his manhood out when she comes to his office after he summons her. Talking about her new boss needs to be serviced. The expression he makes internally about if it was 400 years ago I would have bought her, really grated on my last nerve! Dude even went as far as to stalk the woman. He actually tracked her down and slept outside her house all night to prevent another man from looking at her. Who does that?
In the end she gives herself and, of course, her virginity, to him. You know the saying if she likes it, I love it? Well half of that applies here. She liked it but... 2.5 stars for this one.

This was a free book that came with signing up for Turner's email list, and the book sounded okay enough- so I hoped right in. I do like obsessive and possessive in Turners hot romance books, but this one takes it too far. The main guy character takes his thought process of ruining her life if she tries to leave him and even going as far as forcing her to live on the streets lie about her to other businesses if she tired to work anywhere else. Just so that she would pick and stay with him, this is all after a few hours of them meeting (and only a few minutes talking together). I'm really not okay with any of this (plus the guy also stalks her too), it's just pushing past the line way too much for me to get into this book.

Look, Ive got no problem with smutty, insta-love, grumbly broody alphas. Im a little tired of the whole virgin trope and the need for every H to plant his seed in his h but thats minor so whatever at this point the mass audience for these types of novels enjoy it and it doesn’t bother me much. Just a personal preference that i hold against no novel.
But when they start off a job interview with “how many men have you slept with” and “ come sit on my desk so i can make sure you’re a virgin” EUW
Workplace sexual harassment is totally a thing; and i know everything is presented as consensual( and trust me i appreciate that fact because nothing turns me off more than dubious consent) but after the H tells the h she can walk out the door if she wants he literally thinks “if she tries it im just going to have to chain her to my desk and do what i want with her anyway” I cant say EUW enough.
Then theres the fact that he basically thinks to himself that if she tries to find another job he will lie to everywhere she applies so she wont be able to work for anyone but him. AND he contemplates buying any apartment building she tries to rent and evicting her so she has to live with him or be homeless. All this after 1 conversation with her where all he does is use the fact that he’s her boss to confirm her virginity. ( im not getting over that interaction it was icky)
And lets not even forget the worst line of the book:
“I’m starting to think that I was born in the wrong century. If I was born four hundred years ago, I could buy her and she would become my legal property. I could own her.”
Thinking of the woman you ‘love’ as your property is disgusting and degrading and honestly just misogynistic its not sexy and it’s not endearing.

why can't rich guys do something normal like just ask the girl out? instead of buying the company she's working for 26 million. i guess it has to be over the top.
luke made me queasy all throughout this novella. he was a dick boss who kept yelling and snapping at his assistant, what a real jerk. he was also inappropriate with zoe (prolly has to be expected) he was all about her physical assets (it's always about her rack!) and owning her like a property. well zoe was no different anyway, she wanted to be owned and she likes the idea of luke having her.
idk, but this made me uncomfortable. over the top? yes, but not swoon worthy. all i can think about was the power imbalance of their position (boss & employee). and how scary he was, for buying the building where she's living and threatening to buy all other building until she has nowhere to live but with him. also, the fact that he's willing to lie and ruin her credibility so that no one would hire her. i mean if that's not scary enough, idk what is.

This book is about Luke and Zoe's instant love story which then concluded with their son David and another on the way. He saw her doing a presentation and immediately wanted her so he bought the company she worked at for 26 million dollars, four times the initial price for her. She had the same intense attraction and from their their love got even higher for each other it was unbeleivable but also promising.
Story- 4/5 I wish there was more of Luke and Zoe

Not sure if I'd say obsessed or stalker! Luke is adamant that he wants Zoe to be his and he'll do everything to make sure that happens.
This is a short story which I couldn't put down and received for free, after signing up to the author's newsletter. There's also a sneak peak of the next book at the end of this one.
I hadn't read books from this author before, but I've now read two and I wasn't disappointed. Enjoyable read which I recommend.

An aptly titled novelette. You know what they say, go big or go home. That’s certainly appropriate for Olivia’s stories. Her men are possessive, downright dirty alphas and make no apologies for claiming what they want, which nine times out of ten is the gorgeous, curvy women they simply can’t get enough of. Steamy is too mild a word to describe what this couple gets up to. Zoe may be a virgin, but her mind is in the gutter. A flirty-dirty, quick fun read!

Don’t go into these stories expecting realism. You won’t get that 😂 but as for smut…these are all that and some. This dude is the definition of obsessed 😂
I rate this a 3.5 because for a v*rg*n, she really knows everything about how to take care of this man she just met and was way too eager to just let him have his way with her. Still a very good read if you need something to get you…well, you know 🤭

2 stars, bought this book on the same day as the author’s other book... thought it would be an Alexa Riley kinda style book. But again, ott .... it was just cringeworthy.....
But I finished book cause I paid for it... and I wanted to know if this one would be better than her other book... unfortunately not

OMG! This story gives a whole new meaning to the phrase: "I liked the company so much I bought it." The story was really OTT, but you know what, I loved it. Caveman mentality Luke who has more money than sense. Zoe - virginal, naive, and oh boy, is she gonna get educated!!! I have to have more stories from Olivia. I love her "devil-may-care attitude" and couldn't put this book down.

If you like over the top Alpha bossy hot men this book is for you . ! Mr Lukas Gray takes obsession to a whole new level. ! One look at Zoe from his office window and his cold heart started beating again. She had no idea what she was in for and Mr Gray wasn't going to give her time to think about it either.

I received a copy of this book for free
This is my least favourite book from this author so far, I think it's probably because the ML was so over the top and obsessed with the FL everything screamed sexual harassment in the workplace, not that she was concerned about that.
ML sees the FL from across the way and so buys the business she works for so he can have her.

Olha, pra ler esse livro tem que ignorar o fator a$$édio no trabalho, porque é exatamente isso que o mocinho faz com a mocinha desde a primeira vez que a vê. Passou do ponto pra mim e não consegui relevar, nem abstrair. Achei estranho e desconfortável, por isso não curti tanto a leitura.

Este es un libro para leerse una tarde que estás aburrido y sin nada que hacer por lo corto y sin complicaciones que es.
No hay una trama real y los protagonistas se enamoran ridículamente rápido, sin mencionar el desenlace tan predecible que tiene. Pero bueno, es entretenido y realmente es exactamente lo que promete.

This book was OTT right from when I opened the book. Everything was so over the top, just like i was expecting from Ms. Turner. A good short filthy but delicious imaginary romance. Crazy H equals to crazy h. Loved it.
