Vampire hunter Saki Fujimiya is the epitome of poise and finesse—that is, when she's not around Miyoko Kujou! Why does Miyoko get such a rise out of her? Well, to begin with, Miyoko's a campire—Saki's natural enemy—but that's not the only reason Miyoko gets under Saki's skin. Despite Saki's best efforts to kill Miyoko, something keeps stopping her from biting the bullet and ending it all for good. It's hard to tell who's really the prey in this love comedy packed with bite!

Though the plot was a little repetitive I really loved the last few chapters and the bonus one...I'm so sad this got cancelled, it could have been so great it was really promising!

So much potential, but this was just extremely repetitive. It honestly felt like pages were missing, but this was the full story from my library, so I don't understand. Maybe this worked better in a weekly manga magazine or something.

The art is pretty cute, but I wouldn't recommend this.

No! This was so good why is it cancelled! :( It’s such a cute little sapphic vampire slice of life story.

It's like "Spy vs. Spy" with (slightly) more romance as a vampire hunter tries again and again to kill her flirty vampire classmate. I'm a little unclear as to whether they are in high school or middle school or what, and it might be a good thing the series was discontinued before Vol. 2 as an age gap was introduced at the last second, and I always have problems with those.

A fun bit of mindless fluff otherwise.

This was a cute and quick read.

It's about a vampire hunter and the vampire she's trying to hunt, but things never turn out the way she plans. As the story goes on she slowly starts to fall for the vampire and no longer wants to kill her. It's a very light hearted read.

Killing Me! is a 'kiss me, kill me' GL comedy about a vampire (Miyoko) and vampire hunter (Saki). The fan service is shameless (much like Miyoko, the vampire) and everything is very silly and over-the-top. The art is excessively feminine, detailed, shiny and sparkly... which is totally a weakness of mine. I laughed at the outrageous situations and action scenes, the dialogue, and appreciated Miyoko's Carmilla reference.

I know Killing Me! is a goofy book, but I couldn't help but take Saki's conflicted feelings extra seriously. There are some parts where she feels left out, confused, or jealous and my concern for this fictional baby gay character pulled me out of the silliness of the manga sometimes. I'm pretty sure I'd like this story better as an anime, where pacing and voice acting accentuate tone and keep things light. I'm sure this concern comes from reading way too much melancholy manga and pre-emptively worrying that every character I ever get attached to is going to get hurt, because I enjoyed Killing Me! much more during the second read-through.

Listen is cute and the characters are chaotic. However, the story is very bare bones and has little substance. There is biting and such and one kiss, which isn’t a bad thing but none of it feels earned or really thought out or planned.

Guys, when I say that this volume was repetitive as FUCK, I mean you could skim the chapters, still know what's going on, and get smacked with deja vu because ALL BUT ONE CHAPTER IS EXACTLY THE SAME. The main couple are annoying as fuck, the artwork is average at best, and the story is not engaging. The idea of someone being forced to kill someone else, but ends up falling for them has been done numerous times and no, having the main leads be girls DOES NOT MAKE IT BETTER/MORE INTERESTING. Did I mention that the two main characters have, maybe, two core personality traits and that there interactions are boiled down to, "one tries to kill the other, but doesn't succeed/can't bring herself to," and "one jumps on the other and is constantly flirting/teasing her"? Congratulations, I've effectively summed up this manga and YOU ARE FUCKING WELCOME, PLEASE DON'T READ THIS, YOU'LL NEVER GET THAT TIME BACK.

P.S. Okay, I just checked online and it looks like this series was discontinued after this volume. Gee, I WONDER WHY THAT IS?!

This is so stinking adorable, I actually read it twice. The world building is almost entirely non-existent, but the main characters are so insanely cute that I don't even mind. Being that Miyoko is an immortal vampire (a hundred or so years old, to boot), she has the potential to be creepy based on her relationship with another high school girl. However, she is so very clearly a teenager with her childish behavior that I believe she is mentally stuck in the age she appears. The only other vampire story I can think of that does this, funnily enough, is Let The Right One In, which is one of the most horrifying vampire stories I've read.

One final note: Despite this being part of a cancelled series, I think it ends well enough to stand in its own without feeling unfinished, so don't let that scare you off if you think it sounds like a cute read (which it totally is).

For anyone who has ever enjoyed light hearted slice of live yuri romance.

Some people have called it "repetitive," I think they missed the point of the manga. It is named "killing me!" So she tries to kill her. That's it. If anything else happened, for example, her succeeding in killing her, then there wouldn't be a story.

It's just all fluff. I don't know why anyone would come into this manga expecting some heavy drama or something. It's supposed to be silly. In fact, I think that its actually pretty well paced. With the main character pretty much realizing her feelings by the end of the book. You can only do so much in 6 chapters, people. If it were to be given a few more volumes, perhaps some backstory and a plot, I bet this could have developed into a spectacular Yuri manga.

Sadly, it won't be given the chance to develop. I really did enjoy it, it was good, dumb fun.

I've been waiting to read this since I found it on Amazon a few months ago.

While I thought it was a little repetitive with the plot, I thought it was cute.

Looks like Saki may not hate Miyoko after all. I do want to see how their relationships and what others around them to say about it. Saki's Mom will not be too happy about her not killing the vampire in the area. I wonder what others things that will affect.

I read some review where they say that Saki sucks as a vampire hunter. I feel like she knows what shes doing but for some reason Miyoko is a vampire she can't kill. Probably because she sees her a normal girl sometimes and is starting to like her.

I hope we get another volume soon.

Bleh. There's a point where something is just made to be so cute that it's not cute at all, and Miyoko is way too saccharine and substanceless. There's basically no reason to care about the relationship between the two main characters (except that they're both cute looking). It was never funny either, even though the back says love comedy. I really wanted to love this, but I don't love it at all.

It would probably appeal to fans of Jashin-chan Dropkick or perhaps Machikado Mazoku, neither of which I enjoyed, even though I hoped I would.

Didn't really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I'm not sure what I was hoping for. I guess it did have a bit of a comical aspect to it but all in all... shrug... Also the vampire, Miyoko, used the phrase "I love you" so much that to me it ended up feeling more like a phrase used to manipulate the vampire hunter, Saki. I hate to say it but I've been in situations where a person has said I love you as a way to get me to forgive/forget something they've done and the interaction between Miyoko and Saki kind of felt like that.

I had thought there was only one volumes of this, but apparently the whole series got cancelled, but it was really cute and it was going strong. I have no clue why it got cancelled after just one volume. I did enjoy it, I don't really read vampire stories cuz alot are over played or used all the time. I also don't read a whole bunch of yuri manga either, but this was cute and fun, just wish there was more of it.

This manga was a super cute and fun read! Definitely a manga to pick up if you just want to sit back and enjoy a gay rom-com! I would place this under the category of a guilty pleasure read. Was disappointed to find out that it was canceled and there will never be a second one but still a nice light/ fun read!

Decent Yuri vampire manga. Its story when thought back on is not that deep but light-hearted enough to be a fun read.
Not lots to say about it as the story is so thin. It tries for a quick romance but 1 volume is not enough for the proper build up to one.

Very enjoyable story. I want more!

I bought this on a whim. I really liked it. I hope the author continues this tale. I would very much like to read more about these two. Quick, easy read, and a very cute storyline. If you like yuri or you like vampires, you will enjoy it.

I appreciate the story and the art of this manga; both are done well. It is not a story that I find compelling, so I'll stop at volume 1 (I don't have the later volumes and won't attempt to get them).

Man que fofo, teria um potencial enorme se não tivesse sido cancelado.
É horripilante a quantidade de gl's bons que não são continuados ou só são one-shots.

This manga has a cute art style, but the chapters are incredibly repetitive and predictable. I also found it weird how casually it was brushed off when the vampire drank the main character’s blood (while she was literally unconscious.) It lowk felt like assault… or maybe I’m just dramatic idk guys
