Living on the beach you meet all kinds. It's a lot like high school that way, we have everything from the homeless, the potheads, the chess players to the kooks and Barneys. But then when those hot punk surfers come along, you can't help but beg to be part of the territory they will claim.
Nights of bonfires and waves make it all the more alluring and so when I met Kai and his crew I found my equal. Unapproachable, a loner within a group, he seemed almost untouchable with something wicked boiling beneath the surface, but I was willing to dig no matter the cost.
Looking back there were warning signs I ignored and the cost was my heart. Some things you just can't break. Like Rough Waves
**Note - First I apologize to the author because my review is late, I went back and read the book for a second time after reading a two star review for this book** I quite enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, Sam is feisty and relateable and Kai was so charming and sweet, and they are perfect for each other. What I love most about this story is how both the hero and heroine have something the other needs. This book has strong chemistry, passion, deceit, and love that made it a real page turner. This book is absolutely fantastic and a definite must read.
I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
An incredibly humbling story of somone who's account on life has been hard and emotionally challenging that had made his look on relationships and love somewhat scared. But Kai sees something different perhaps in Sam? This story is an Incredible read thats is HOT and you'll need to definitely cool down afterwards but its full of lies, good & bad relationships, love & passion. An amazing book xx
