Maintains a private practice in his office by the Atatürk Cultural Center at the Taksim Square and delivering babies and performing gynecological operations at Istanbul’s main private hospitals.
Gynecologic Oncology Fellow at the Baylor University. After passing the American Ob. – Gyn Board Examination, he returned to his native Istanbul to practice, teach and to write.
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the -Cerrahpasa Medical School, University of Istanbul.
His collected works have been published in thirteen volumes one of which has been translated to Greek.
Present and past memberships and positions include :
President of the Administrative Board of the Turkish Planned Parenthood Association (Türkiye Aile Sağlığı ve Planlaması Vakfı).
Member of the Board of the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Southeast Europe (Krispou 9, Ano Poli 54634 Thessaloniki, Greece).
He has acted as the cultural advisor to the Mayor of Istanbul .
Member of the Association of History of Medicine of Turkey.
A founding member of the Aybay Foundation for Legal Studies.
Past member of the Ethics Committee of the Chamber of Medicine of Istanbul.
