Omegas of Pandora #4

Alpha's Temptation

Rate this book
She had never heard the word Omega.

When Aura crash lands on an alien planet, she finds herself surrounded by feral Alphas males. She doesn’t understand what has made them this way, but her only option is to run. They look like men, but act like animals and are consumed by the desire to take her in the most depraved ways. Ways that would literally tear her apart.

All except one.

Castor is so much more than he seems. But right now, he is the only thing standing between this strange girl and the dangerous Alpha prowling the Forbidden Zone. He has maintained his sanity while trapped in the wasteland but at great cost. The urge to claim her for his own overwhelms his fragile hold on control. He will protect the confused Omega from the Alphas intent on doing her harm, but he will also claim her for his own.

Alpha’s Temptation is the fourth book in the Omega’s of Pandora series, but is the first in Castor and Aura’s story. It may be enjoyed without having read previous installments. This is dark, Omegaverse romance with a cliffhanger.

Aura was brought up in a dystopian society being taken advantage of by others with greater technology in space. Circumstances bring her to Castor's side at the very shit hole of the world. There so no other moment than the present for them and their basic needs.

Saved By The Alpha🐺🔪🔫

Citadel Station is a testament to a dystopian culture. After a millennium and several wars and civil wars, the inhabitants are starving to death and the station is dying.

A small ship🚀 docks with a space suited crew. They call themselves Sotiri👺, or saviors! They start handing out food to the long lines of humans on the derelict station.
Aura💃 is dressed as a boy to keep from being ravaged. The Sotiri👺 give her rations for herself and her siblings. The rations she eats trigger her Omega and they capture her to take to another planet.

Their ship🚀 is Shot down over the forbidden zone of Pandora🌍, and she is snatched up by Castor🐺🔪🔫, a true Alpha male, who also crash landed there.. Their fight against feral alphas, weird beasts, and their attraction to each other fill their time while awaiting rescue.

ARC Received from Booksprout🌱
I also got the book with KU.

This book ends in a cliffhanger, but is still worth reading if you are an Omegaverse fan. This is an adults only violent and feral romance.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON ALPHA'S TEMPATION TO ALPHA'S REDEMPTION.

I DEFINITELY ENJOYED THIS 100% COMPARED TO IANTHE & LEGION'S STORY, ALTHOUGH I ENJOYED THE FIRST 3 BOOKS TOO. THIS SERIES HELD MANY OF MY FAVOURITE ELEMENTS - STRANDED SURVIVORS, PASSION, OMEGA HEAT AND MATING, YOU'LL HAVE EM ALL.

CASTOR we've heard a lot from Legion's story and now we get to see what actually happened to him. Castor crashed into the Forbidden Zone when he had to bail ship to save his own life. Weeks surviving in the feral territory of base Alphas, he never expected to meet an Omega who brought out the very instincts he never wanted. Castor was a reformer. He didn't like his own dynamic, believing that an Alpha should be able to control his own baser urges and genetic make-up. After seeing what his father had done to his Omega mother, Castor vows never to take an Omega for mate. Who knew that he would inadvertently claim Aura for his own in the midst of passion. As a Prince who is on the verge of his own coronation, Castor has been fighting for Omega rights ever since. To publicly announce that he has claimed an Omega mate would be detrimental to his political career. The first book focuses on Castor and Aura in wild captivity, building their attraction and boy was it the hottest part of the story yet. The second book shifts to civil setting but it changes the dynamics of C & A's relationship because now that everything is back to normal, Castor has responsibilities to fulfill. I won't agree with his decision to hide Aura like a dirty little secret and YES THERE IS ANGST aplenty when the daft Alpha plans his own wedding to the Vigil Princess. I absolutely loved the heart wrenching moments from here on, especially when Aura finally up and leaves him. Compared to Legion, Castor isn't as commanding despite his royal status. Legion strikes me as the more conniving and dangerous one, while Castor worked in a more clean manner.

AURA was only a normal human female without an identity afloat a space station she has always known as home. Unbeknownst to her, the people on that space station were guinea pigs for the Vigilians to create more Omegas for flesh peddling. When Aura tested positive as an Omega, she was deported from the station but luckily for her, the ship crashed and she's now stranded in the Forbidden Zone. Here's where she meets Castor, the strapping alpha who protects her from others and incidentally mates with her. In the dangerous wilderness of the Forbidden Zone, they were just a male and female coming together even if Aura was confused about her new dynamic disposition. But when they were rescued and returned to the arms of civilization, Aura doesn't know how to proceed, being hidden by Castor like an unwanted burden and the fact that he's going to marry a foreign Princess only brings her heartache. When her life is threatened by a Vigil advisor, and her relationship with Castor has become strained, she turns to Legion and Ianthe for an escape plan. You can imagine how Castor would react and from then on the action begins.

OVERALL it was a page turner for sure, I devoured the entire three books within hours. I simply enjoyed the flow of the story not to mention the character development that happens in stages as the book goes by. I think Lillian Sable is my other favourite author after Z.E and I'll be sure to come back fore more.

I need some answers!
A strong start to the story definitely has me wanting more.
This was the first in a possible duet?
I know I probably should have checked but the blurb seemed like a standalone or 'first in' and it also sounded really good.
Either way, I had no problem following what was going on. Did I have a bunch of questions, well yes I did, but that is just my very active curiosity streak.
The author fills in most of the blanks and turns up the suspense (and the heat) with ease. I think I was on edge from the rations line.
Castor truly comes across as one of the good guys. Oh, he is all Alpha plus a bit more do not doubt that. But he has a draw(?) to his persona that balances the caveman and the man.
Aura has absolutely no clue ~ at any time what the he ll is going on.
Seriously! One minute she is acquiring rations for her family the next she is violently ill then ... well, that would give away spoilers if I told you.
I will give her props...I would have been a blubbering mess and I doubt my psyche ever would have shown itself again.

There were a few parts that left me a bit confused.
Before I pass judgment it could be because I didn't read the earlier books ~
Or, and this is quite popular with series, my questions will be answered in the next episode.
I connected to Aura pretty quickly, maybe because the author provided a bit more of her character's thoughts
Castor, I felt I didn't know a whole lot about and we are only given but small glimpses his inner thoughts and a few breadcrumbs of the why of his circumstances.

I did appreciate this was not a love at first sniff read -
They both knew it was purely a physically driven need that brought them together.

Now I need the next book please so I can get my answers!

I really liked Castor and Aura's story in this book. It took the dystopian world in a slightly different direction, showing a MMC who feels most like an Alpha in a natural semi-feral setting than in his more formal role as a Prince. It was a great way to highlight Castor as a character, normally an idealist and reformer, and to show how he would act in extreme survival situations. This differed so much from Legion and Iolanthe's story, which is more typical of a mob boss and his obsessively controlled captive.

Because Castor and Aura were unable to communicate due to a language barrier, their relationship had to be completely based on what they read and felt from each other, and they were highly dependent on each other in a survival situation, which created an acute sense of how they interacted with each other completely removed from society. I was a bit skeptical, however, because the way Aura appeared to be in the first chapters made her seem simple, but then she seemed more capable of complex and sophisticated thinking as the series went along. I thought that was odd.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this first book exploring Aura and Castor's relationship, showing the circumstances where they fell in love and bonded. And also how Castor was rescued. I'm looking forward to book #5.

Alpha's Temptation is one of my favorite books by Renee Rose & Lee Savino. This great first book to the Bad Boy Alphas series.

Jackson King is a self-made billionaire who owns SeCure, one of the best online security network in the world. Hot and sexy, he's an lone Alpha Wolf banish from his pack and never intended to take a mate.

Kylie is an hacker who's interviewing for a position at SeCure, only thing is, she hacked their network 9 years ago.

I loved this book from the get go. Kylie is a sassy nerdy hacker with an awesome fashion style. Jackson is your hot sexy male alpha wolf. The attraction between the two is instantaneous and Jackson wolf's want Kylie. This book is definitely one roller coaster of a ride. Full of laughs, action, intrigue, betrayal and steamy actions. I was enthralled from the get go and definitely recommend this book. It's a definite must read and this series is absolutely fantastic!

★ The master plan ★

—>>> When the massive, strangely suited and silent Sotiri slowly offer sustenance, the surviving individuals did not question their appearance amongst them, taking what was offered without a fight or questioning their purposes. Taking care of her family what the most important task of her measly existence. Until she becomes sick and is taken prisoner off planet, only to crash and land in the Forbidden Zone, which is overrun by feral beings from anyone’s worst nightmare. She is saved from definitely death and worse by Castor, who is awaiting rescue himself. But he recognizes exactly what she is, while it is clear she has no idea, he facing inner struggle as he fights his attraction to her all the meanwhile.

Good premise to the beginning of their story, and looking forward to learning more doubt Pandora, his plans for Aura, and investigation into his own spacecraft crash.

This isn't my first Lilian Sable read, but it is my first in the "Omegas Of Pandora" universe. It ends on a cliffhanger, as advertised, so if I wanted to complain about that, I'd be a fool, as it did advertise that upfront.

It's apparently the first in the series for your (now) mated duo, Castor & Aura. I enjoyed this read, but I think I would have gotten more out of it knowing a bit more about the background of Castor within the Pandora world. For the character of Aura, there's enjoy intro'ed to her and her background that I'm curious to see where the story goes for her from here.

There is some dark here, so be forewarned if you're sensitive to that, but the relationship between Castor & Aura is more on the side of sensitive, and their burgeoning relationship and the evolving story line is more a focus than the carnal possibilities of alpha/omega dynamics.

Good read

This book would have had 5 stars as I was so trapped in the pages/screen that couldn't put it down. I bought it on a whim even though some of comments warned against it. The main complaint being it leaves you on a cliff and you must buy the second part to continue. This doesn't really bother me. I'll buy the second and third to continue the story. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because some places in the book the sentences, words, names and pronouns are missing, messed up or in a jumble mess. There wasn't a lot of it, just enough to be annoying. It did not how ever stop me from enjoying the book. The way it is composed is different then a lot of other authors I read, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. So pick up a copy but I promise be ready to buy the other two books in their story as I wish I'd just bought all three to start with.

All around good book. Very entertaining. Lots of action, adventure and steam. Problem is that Aura had no idea she was an omega. Now she carted away by the men in white suits without and explanation and they end up crashing in the Forbidden Zone. Run, Run, where is she suppose to go? She runs into a giant of a man, Castor, who ends up taking her to his cabin and ravishing her. He happens to be an Alpha. She can't understand why she hates what he does to her, but loves it too. Now after being rescued Aura and Castor have to wait for their happy ending with the next book. I hate having to buy another book to find out what happens.

An omegaverse romance. She may live on a space station but nothing about it is advanced. If anything the whole station is apoplectic. People starve and will kill for one bite of food. The oxygen has been filtered for forever. No one has stepped off of the station in Aura’s lifetime. Now some spacemen come and feed the just enough but leave them still starving. This is just the beginning of Aura’s story. Things only get worse for her. Omega will be something she learns about the hard way. Expect plenty of violence and fighting but one Alpha will protect her and possess her. Ends in a cliffhanger so don’t expect any happy ending in this one.

This book was just much too predictable. Especially considering the way things ended in the last novel, you knew what would happen from the beginning to the end of this book. And that made it almost unbearably boring.

I would argue that this installment should have been the first in this series to avoid readers already knowing so much about Castor and the events that would take place here.

On top of that, I didn't like Castor or Aura near as much as Legion and Ianthe in the previous installments. I'm gonna take a break from this series and perhaps pick it up again in a few months. 2.5 stars.

I love the Pandora series and was so sad when it ended. . . That is until this next story of Castor and Aura came out. This new story still has the same intensity, the same steamy hot chemistry between the Alpha and Omega that was in the first 3 books. I love the the dynamic and the plot of Aura from a wayward space station crash lands and is saved by an equally crash landed Castor. Can't wait for book 2 (or book 5).

This is the 4th book in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. The space station is dying before it is taken over by the Sotiri where Aura lives. Aura ends up on a ship that crashes and because she is an omega, all the men want her. Castor saves her but plans to take her for his own, she is confused as she doesn’t speak the language, will they find a way to communicate? I liked this omega verse read, loads of drama and suspense. Great world building and an entertaining story. I liked it.

This is the second book I have read by this author and I am happy to say I really enjoyed reading this book. There are some scenes that could be triggers for some people but not that much. This is shaping up to be a great story of about the relationship between Aura and Castor and I’m looking forward to the next installment. There is lots going on in this plot and the storyline moves along at a steady pace.

Really liking this plot!

I enjoyed Ianthe and Legion's story in the prior books, but this one might top it. Aura is so form between every new emotion, person, and change that she tends to coward away from it. That is a bit frustrating, but given the circumstances and just going through her first heat, it's A LOT. I really enjoyed Castor's POV and his inner turmoil. The only thing that bugged me a bit in this book is in the beginning it shifts between their povs without warning. It got a bit confusing, but evened out as the book progressed.

Loved the book, the story was well written. The characters Castur ( alpha )And and then you have Aura ( omega ) When Aura crash her plane and Ĺands where there is a lot to learn, all the Alphas are like animals except for one Castor. The story was hot and steamy WOW, for not reading the other series the book was still great.
Thank you for allowing me to review this book it was great.

Gut Wrenching

The highs, the lows, twists and turns, suspense and thrilling drama, action, passion and violence the dual sided dub-con raw and tender emotions wrenched from the characters as well as myself. Their story had me curious, empathetic, anxious, tensed, angry, supportive, excited and aroused seeing her face looking to her neck through the furs to furiously frantic and breathless!!! I need the next installment and it can't come fast enough!

This one started out okay for me. The space station in squalor was an interesting angle. Unfortunately once Aura crash landed on the planet, it just got kind of boring. It's a loooooot of sex without much else happening. Not saying that's a good or bad thing, because sometimes a girl's in the mood for some smut. But if you're looking for an intriguing story to go with that smut, it's not really here.

I'm a bit fearful. This book was actually very good! But I said that about the first book in this series too and then it went all down- hard.

So this was a bit better story. h has no idea who are Alphas, Betas and Omegas. As she is from a space and barely surviving, nobody talks about any dynamics.

This book was so enjoyable, especially when they were on that Forbidden Zone. Holy hell was that intense.

Much Better

This book was a lot better than the previous book in the series. It cleared up what happened to Prince Castor after his ship went down in the forbidden zone and his rescue. The interactions between Castor and Aura were much better and made sense considering the circumstances. The way it ended was bogus; to add another book before clearing things up with Prince Castor wasn’t a good stopping point. These books are mostly novellas and could be made into one book.

This was a great read, i loved it. It is on a dark side of things and there are scenes that make you cringe but the intensity between Aura and Castor was amazing. Lillian Sable does a great job of painting the picture in your head. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves dark Omegaverse stories.

An exciting paranormal read with plenty of secrets and suspense. I liked the way the author revealed information to Aura who is the main character in this book as it was revealed to the reader. The writing was fast paced and filled with action. It was a quick read which I wish was longer. Great storytelling.

So hot

It took me a bit to understand where this was going to tie together with the other books. I liked this take and introduction of these characters. I'm glad they will have another book since it seems they are just getting started. Looking forward to reading the next book.
