Sophia is aroused by Hunt way too soon in the plot. Put yourself in her place, you don't know your kidnaper, he's wearing a mask of Jason, but you feel aroused when you don't know if he's gonna rape and/or kill you?? Peuh-lease. I see this a lot in romance stories where the female is abducted/auctioned/sold/kidnaped. And the authors almost always use this sentence to justifie this inexplicable attraction: "What's wrong with me?" See yourself (19%): "One of his hands slid up her arm, the tips of his fingers tracing gentle patterns on the skin. A curl of desire grew in the pit of her stomach and she hated herself for her body’s uncontrollable reactions. What was wrong with her? She had no idea what he looked like under the mask or even how old he was."

Another thing that bothered me was the fact that

Every Single One Of Us Has The Devil👹 Inside

There Will Be Blood💀🔪🔫
Crazed DNA altered mercenaries turn into wolf🐺 like raging monsters👹 when they hunt!
Hunt🐺🔪🔫, Savage, Chase, are all brothers in arms from the war in Afghanistan. The men were created and manipulated into angry, raging mutants by a top secret military program called Project Alpha.
When the project is exposed, but no one is charged in the deaths and disappearances of soldiers, the men vow to get even. They also find out the project is still going on!

Their current target is Senator Reynolds, a man very much involved with Project Alpha, and who is expected to run for President! Security is too tight around Reynolds for the three mercenaries to get to him, but Savage has found out they can get to his daughter, Sophia💃, a college freshman.

Hunt🐺 begins going to The coffee shop where Sophia💃 works part-time. Sophia💃 is entranced by his physique and good looks, but neither acts on their impulses.

The three ex soldiers kidnap her and send a scary tape to her father, clearly showing Sophia chained up and bring molested by two masked men. No Response from her father!

Now what?

ARC Received from Booksprout🌱
I also got the book with KU.

This is a well written and thought out, but violent book, with much of the violence being psychological terror perpetrated by the enraged mutant men. The threat of dismemberment🔪 is a favored tactic.

Who are the real monsters👹? Is it The government officials who are perpetrating these horrendous experiments on soldiers, or are they the violent mutants the government produces?
There are also obviously adult s*x scenes throughout.

Somehow I know this book has a ☺happy ending!

These alpha characters are disturbing and creepy and not in a good way but in a weirdo way. The girl was kidnapped by three guys wearing a Jason, Freddy and Michael Meyers mask. They threaten to kill her by cutting her up or at gun point in point zero range but she still feels attracted to them. There is no romantic or even animalistic attraction between the characters, more like fear and hate. I did not enjoy.

Not as romantic or heroic as you’d think

For those of you who want a quick read, something with a male hero and a stubborn female lead this is the book, though it’s not very well developed.

I kept reading thinking the story would develop more, that something big would be revealed, or Hunt and his squad would go crazy and show off their power. But nothing happened. It’s just subpar sex scenes and a girl being so stubborn and useless that she gets her father killed.

I don't know...I didn't really feel any passion between the two. I actually found it a tiny bit boring so I'm glad it wasn't too long. Not sure if I will read on or not.

PussnBooks.net Reviewing the darkest most erotic books we can find.

I really enjoyed this book. I just love a paranormal twist to my erotic romances and this one had a nice wee kick of primal lust and violence with a beefy, bad-tempered alpha male.

It’s not quite the typical shifter story. More of a secret government fuck-up situation.

There are three extremely hunky and violent men here looking for revenge and justice and although there is only one book in the series so far, I suspect they will all be getting their own book.

HUNTER - So this guy is da boss. And for good reason. Although he has severe anger issues he is usually able to reign in his violent urges...most of the time.

He kidnaps the daughter of one of the guilty parties in the experiment and has no problem with the violence needed to ensure that he and his team get what they need to uncover everything that happened.

He is constantly battling with his dark side, and he doesn’t always win.

He is quite literally two completely different personalities and they are fighting each other in his head when it comes to his current prisoner.

He ignored the slathering beast that remained just on the edges of his control. It wanted the blood and the violence. It wanted to feast while swimming in a pool of her blood. And it laughed in delight as he strode from the room, both of them in agreement of what had to be done.

SOPHIA - Sophia is an extremely sheltered girl. She has been obeying her daddy her entire life.

But the thing is...she is bored with her life. Bored with obeying and being everything her father needs her to be in order for him to further his career.

She ignored the desire to commit mayhem just for the fun of it with more effort than should be strictly necessary

Sophia is no innocent though. Oh no. Although sh is a virgin she has quite the fasination with porn...and is extremely interested in anal. She has a bit of a naughty streak but just doesn’t quite have the balls to act out the way she wants to, lol.

Although terrified by Hunter and the other two extremely large men, just oozing testosterone, she is also more than a little turned on.

She tries to manipulate Hunt a time or two but,...yeah that doesn’t go too well.

She has quite a bit of fight in her though and that’s when things get interesting!

Because she couldn’t stop the wicked thoughts from creeping through her mind. Fantasies so dark and twisted that she didn’t even want to describe them for fear that words would turn the fantasy into reality.

SEX SCENES - There were not a ton of sex scenes in this book (unfortunately) but the ones that were there, were good.

Yeah, they were enjoyable but not enough in my opinion (just me being a horny girl).

Her walls clenched tight around his finger as he worked it gently in and out, and she gasped when he added a second. She was small, his beast noted with satisfaction—it would be too easy to tear her apart. With each stroke, he felt the slight barrier inside of her that impeded his progress. He’d known she was a virgin, but somehow that fact still floored him a little.

Overall this was a good book. When the next in series comes out, I’ll be giving it a go. Can’t wait for Savage to be brought to his knees!

A beast raced through the trees in pursuit of the prey running in fear. The beast used to be a man, but all traces of humanity were gone. Razor sharp claws at the end of his fingers would destroy the prey. He wanted the taste of blood on his tongue. Men with tranquilizers ran behind trying to track him before serious damage was done. When they finally reached him, he had killed a deer and disemboweled it. With the need to hunt and kill now satisfied, the beast allowed the men to capture him, knowing they could not hold him when he was ready to kill again.

Savage told Hunt that he had to see the TV news program talking about Project Alpha. The reporter said an investigation into a military training facility in the Nevada desert resulted in its closure with no charges filed against anyone. He also reported that multiple deaths and disappearances were attributed to this facility over the years with accusations of misconduct by several government officials. Yet the House Intelligence Committee said nothing was wrong. Savage said to the other squad members that it was up to them now or these guilty officials would never face justice – or vengeance that was rightfully due them. A new plan was set in motion. They would kidnap the Senator’s daughter, Sophia, and make him suffer – but everyone has secrets and this may not turn out as expected.

The book’s Prologue pulls the reader in right from the start. Not knowing the origin of the beast who is disturbingly human yet not completely, the reader isn’t sure what is going on. The story line action is continuous and fast-paced as things are revealed to the reader, but it can still be confusing. This is definitely not light reading. It’s dark and may be outside of the reader’s comfort level. It was not what I had been expecting. Excessive force and violence were a way of life for the characters. The reader can decide how justified those actions might be.

A brilliant read

Heed warnings, this is not a light fluffy romance but definitely something you should add this your reading list.

This is an offshoot from another series, and the start of a new series
I have not read the previous series and based on this book I need to catch-up with the back catalogue before the next in this series is released

This is a well written book. I read this as a stand-alone and it did feel like I was playing catch up in the first few chapters while a lot of background was pumped into the book, but after the initial chapters the story unfolded much easier.

The blurb is pretty good so the only spoiler/hint I will add is that not everything is good or bad and this is true of all the characters

Sophie's father is a senator and keeps her on a very tight leash. He sent her to a religious school. She had to be at all of his press conferences to present the perfect family. What she's doesn't know is just what her father is involved in. Hunt is a soldier who has been tortured and made into a super soldier. When he and two of his friends kidnap Sophia to be held at ransom to get information from her father, things don't go as expected. This book had such potential but actually drove me crazy. The way it kept changing from he to I, her to I, all the tenses were wrong. This book needs a darned good editing. This reflects on the number of stars I can honestly give this book. It also appears there may be another book as it ended on a cliffhanger.

Talk about different type of writing by Lillian Sable compared to her Omega's of Pandora series!
I found this to be a good book. I loved the 3 experiments that we meet. Hunt, Chase, and Savage. I fell in love with all of them for their damaged sweet and funny personalities. Especially Chase. 😉 (Though I am biased lol)
I am not a fan of Sophia to be honest, only because I felt like she was quite selfish at times. (Not naming due to possible spoilers).
But I am awaiting for Lillian Sable to come out with the next book in this series to see what awaits for Sophia, Hunt, Chase, and Savage.

This started out good, with dark undertones, but then just fizzed out into boring at the halfway point. Little progression in the plot in which the ferals moved toward redemption and little action. Very slow love interest progression post shower. There were perhaps only three underwhelming love scenes and a story that didn’t really come to full fruition. Sad waste of time.

This is a great read. A Thriller, The truth of the story is a horror But it is mostly a book about except the truth. Excepting love
Sophia had a sheltered life growing up. Controlled by her father Which school she went to No social life She wasn't even meant to be working but she had managed to keep it under the radar so far. She wanted a future but she didnt think it was the same version as the one her father had in store for her.
Sophia is kidnapped from her home and is used to get some information that her kidnappers wanted, but it didnt go as planned. Her father didnt even react to the sight of his daughter scared for her life? what could he be hiding?
Hunter Savage and Chase where looking for evidence to project Alpha and Sophia's father was the key but when Hunter starts seeing Sophia as a person and not a bargaining chip things start to get out of control
This is a brilliant read and I cant wait to read more if there story.
FABULOUS!

Horrifically beautiful

This was like a five-star dinner, slow roasted over an open flame. The Story begins out building agonizingly slow-paced 👀 and continues to build until it is straight 🔥FIRE🔥 You have the ever so boring Sophia (* not anymore *) who I like to refer to as Goldilocks, you have the fearsome three-some Alpha's Hunt, Chase & Savage who of course I refer to as the Three Bears and not the kind you would want your baby to cuddle up with for a nap. One analytical & concise, level headed  yet dangerous the other insubordinate terribly hot-headed a straight psycho  and extremely dangerous the last extremely focused in your face and never backing down hella dangerous and hot enough to melt your panties he will be heard or felt (*your choice*) If you don't think fast enough you won't have a choice. You'll take both and learn to like it. Buckle up for this roller coaster cuz it's definitely going to take you on a ride.

Experiments gone wrong - a group of former special forces breaks out of the facility they had been experimented on and are looking for revenge.
The blood lust that was created as part of the experimentation fuels them to target the senator who is responsible for the experiments. To get to him they need his weak point and guess that this would be his daughter.
An interesting storyline, but sadly only one member of the group is described in detail - one of the two main characters. The book mostly describes the dynamics between Hunt and the Senator's daughter.
All in all an unhappy book with people who have to live in pain to survive, who cannot break out of the prison that was made for them, despite it not being a physical prison.
Not an easy read, and not always entertaining.

First in the series and what a great start!

Three brothers in arms from the Afghanistan war... three men who's DNA was altered into raging fierce men in a top secret military men. Three men who wants revenge for what was done to them and their target is the Senator Reynolds. Savage, Chase and Hunt kidnaps the senator daughter Sophia, who will pay for the Senator's transgression.

This book is definitely for those who have a squeamish. This is a dark book with plenty of sexual scenes, bondage, and psychological tactics to terrorize their victims. I was enthralled from the very get go! So much depth, so much emotions and of course the hot scenes. If you like Alpha men, this is definitely the book for you! I can't wait to read the second book!

What an awesome read!
This is dark romance alright, so if you like happy, 100% consent and safe romance please don't read that book.
It was a great dark and intense story, I loved it from start to finish and I need MORE please!
The only downside was that I didn't feel like there was "closure" between both characters in the end, regarding their feelins to each others
I know it's a dark romance but I'd like to have a little more rainbow at the end to feel closure about the story and the couple. Like...is it a standalone and we will have a new guy in the next book? Or will we have a second book with the same main characters?
Either way, I'm in!

Its seems to be a common thing among writers to write an omegaverse type book and never actually concluded the beginning plot line. These romance stories always end once the female lead meets the guy(s) and the female protagonist accepts her lot and stays with him. But I have noticed that a lot of these stories this one included does not finish the plot line that started the story. This type of writing it is very frustrating as reader to start out with this epic story line and girl meets guy and her plans are just done. When a writer goes along this story line it seems the plot was never actually completed and there should have been more to the story.
This is a basic omegaverse story line nothing truly amazing you can find similar writing and plots throughout kindle books.

I really enjoy Ms. Sable's Pandora series, so was excited about this book. There's some good world-building, but the plot wanders a bit, leaving questions. Did these Alpha renegades not know where they escaped from that they couldn't go back? Why put in that she is a hacker if Hunt isn't going to use it for his benefit somewhere in the book, maybe somewhere in the series? Sophia seemed so internally rebellious against her dad and life, but at the first opportunity to prove it she remains a Stepford. It's just little things that maybe resolved if this is a series book, which I'm assuming it will be will the way the end left off.

Sophia college student kept under tight conto of her fathet. Christian college, pure not allowed to date, trotted out for social and political events for her dad's career.
Hunt a soldier who was used by his government and he and others are paying the price. To force cooperation from the Senator evolved they kidnap his daughter Sophia.
This is the story of what went down, who is culpable and where it all goes.
Twists and turns, action, and much more. I enjoyed this book, a bit dark, but as in life evil is balanced by good.

This is a very, very well-written book. I have to be honest: I'm more a fetish romance reader, and "Hunted by the Feral Alpha" does feature an alpha hero (as advertised) but it's more centered around the drama, adventure, and actual story line than sex, particularly of a bdsm variety (though there's dubcon here, for sure).

The story is definitely of the darker variety, but rings very real given the plot line. There is a HEA...for now. I'm assuming this will be a trilogy, with one confirmed couple going forward, but with the ongoing story line yet to play out. I'm interested to see how it plays out.

A fine, and hot read, and definitely recommended.

More than dark romance

This one has a lot of suspense. I love government intrigue and coverups. This series has it all. Doesn’t end as you would expect and although it is a series it does not leave you with cliffhanger angst. You know there will be more, and you are very interested in where it will go, but you are ok where it ends.
The government has been involved in dark ops using decorated soldiers for experiments trying to make super soldiers. Three kidnap the daughter of a senator who has involvement in an effort to get him to release information.
This books moves fast and smoother, no lulls. Very important to me, it is beautifully edited.

Sophia has always acted the dutiful christian daughter - but while her father doesnt know, she works at a coffee shop and as a hacker. Her father has a dark past, and secrets that she knows nothing about. But when some of his victims kidnap her to force him to reveal the information he has, she finds out about her dark side too. Will she survive being held by Hunt and his friends? Will her father rescue her in time, or will he sacrifice his daughter to his ambition? A dark story -

Very dark

This is not a romance more a very dark action story that end on a cliff hanger . From start to finish it screams of Stockholm syndrome with the victim left unsure what or who to trust and so many unanswered questions If you are looking for a hea romance this is not for you but if you like action stories that are on the dark or very dark side then this is the perfect start of a new series

GREAT READ!
I really like this story it was my first by this author. The dialogue was a little confusing at times however all the drama and chaos kept me intrigued to the very end that ended like a cliffhanger that I was not expecting but was well aware that it is the first book in this series so have a lot of unanswered questions! The chemistry is without a doubt intense quick and hot. Slight bursts of adrenaline, plenty of action and adventure with engrossing twists and suspense. A highly enjoyable must read

Jason/Hunt is a soldier turned into a ‘monster’ through experimentation but despite of it, he tried to retain his humanity. He may be cruel, but he may also be kind. He was the alpha of their group but even he has a strenuous hold on his teammates. They were out looking for answers and in their bid to do so kidnap the senator’s daughter who turned out to be the person who can tame his monster. But the mystery is still unsolved, what is Project Alpha and who has the answer they seek.

The start was immediately interesting followed by a bit of internal thinking by Sophia. Once she was kidnapped, the action started and kept going till the end. The world-building will keep your interest. The majority of the players in the conflict are not fully revealed in this book. I think the succeeding books would give more insight. Sophia and Hunt’s relationship, while there are steamy sex scenes, is not an HEA. It’s a very good read though with a very interesting plot. This is an exciting book to read and I am hoping the rest of the series is going to be just as enjoyable. The main characters are well described and I’m hoping we see more of them and follow their development throughout the series. It’s an excellent plot and the author has done a great job in her story-telling skills that drew me in to the book very quickly with all the drama, action, adventure, emotion and romance. A wonderful read if you enjoy this genre and I certainly do!

Plenty of action in this fast paced book with a clueless young woman and some elite military men. The suspense is platable as the story progresses. The reader isn't quite sure if the men who've kidnapped her are the good guys or not. Some of their actions are a bit questionable as the pages flash by. The reason they kidnapped her is identified but there is so much more to the story, nothing is written in stone. The book doesn't end completely as it leaves questions and cliffhanger-isk style on the last page. I liked the book. Good story.

This book is different than any I have read. The heroes were men who had been tortured and experimented on. The heroine was a sheltered senators daughter. It has a somewhat HEA with an "it can all blow up in their face" in the end kind of way. I did like the characters even though one of the men was a bit more feral than the others. The story was interesting and the book ends with a way to continue the story in a series as all of the questions have not been answered.

First time reading this author, the synopsis was very interesting. I found the story to be interesting, fast paced, and steamy. I will admit I wasnt sure about Hunt til about 50% through. But he surprisingly grew on me quickly. Wonder if there will be more books about the others. Short and Steamy, and suspenseful!
