Yes, I'm the author, but this book was created with the wisdom of all the school leaders I've worked with. Too often we get caught up in either/or thinking. Either academics or whole child initiatives--when we need both. Either focus on students or on the adults--when we need to do both. Either create a compelling vision or concentrate on current realities--when we need both. Learn from stories of leaders who learned to use both/and instead of either/or thinking, and in the process created environments where adults and students are all thriving holistically as learners and as community.
