I enjoy getting updates on my couples. Cat and Reese's 2nd book didn't disappoint. I was pretty pleased to see that it was more than an extended epilogue. This was a full story with a couple suspenseful storylines. The only difference is that the book starts out with the couple already together and married.
The fact that we don't have the angst of the building of the relationship doesn't mean we don't have a captivating story to follow. If you have read book one and you should before reading this one, you know that Reese is a defense attorney and Cat writes for her local newspaper as well as true crime novels following real live cases.
Since Reese and Cat have gotten together, she goes to every trial Reese has and reports on all his cases. In book two, Reese has just taken on a wealthy heiress accused of murdering her father for her inheritance. As a secondary storyline, Reese had a stalker several years back who has decided to show back up and cause problems right when he least expects it.
The author did such a great job of showing how strong Reese and Cat's relationship was when his stalker makes an appearance. Most couples would have crumbled over less. I loved these two!

Another wonderful read by Lisa Renee Jones. This author writes in such a way that you can really feel what the characters are feeling. Reese and Cat are just perfect together! Their chemistry is off-the-charts HOT and their relationship is filled with understanding, passion and so much love. One of the things that I love about this book and series is it reinforced that a relationship and the bond that you create with your partner should make you strive to be better, to never cease learning, and above all, to grow together. Fans of romance should look no further to quench their thirst for passion and matters of the heart. Overall rating: 4.5 stars!

Reese Summer is back!
Again he's the attorney trying to get a NOT GUILTY for his client in this huge case - a heiress who allegedly killed her father.
Then there's Cat.
She's still writing her crime column and she's in that courtroom with Reese every day.
And she also just found out that she's kinda pregnant. But she doesn't want Reese to know - she doesn't want him to worry about her. He needs to concentrate on his job.
And then we have a weird stalker ex of Reese's sniffing around the courthouse ...

Cat and Reese. We already loved them in their first book and now they're back for an encore - and it's not a little happily ever after novella, like I expected! It's a sexy & exciting & mysterious & adorable full-length courtroom/murder/stalker/pregnant drama!
There's so much story in here!
We have Cat, who just found out she's pregnant - I'm not spoiling much in saying that - she finds out around the 2% mark - and there is also an early cover with a pregnant Cat on it!☺
She's so worried that Reese will lose his trial if he knows and worries about the baby.
And then we have the whole murder case. Who did it? Is Dana really innocent?
And what the effing hell does this stalker person Debbie want and why?
Very exciting and mysterious and unputdownable. You just have to keep on reading. We want Reese to do his sexy lawyer thing in court and win this thing. And we want Debbie out of the way and we want the baby to be ok and for Reese to not be mad when he finds out.
And we have all the people from the other books in here too helping and Cat's brothers and the Walker people!
Ugh, so much in one book!
I loved it! It might have been my favorite in the series!!! ♥
It could've been a little bit shorter - there's a lot of repeating and unnecessary stuff - but that's just Lisa's writing style. And I love reading her stories!
And the end ... I was expecting so much more drama and excitement - and then we just ended the trial and the stalker situation way too easily. BUT - that's also totally acceptable - I didn't want anyone to get hurt or killed either! ☺

I loved getting this deeper look into Reese and Cat’s life after two years of marriage. As with all of the books in this series, this is more than just a romance. There is lots of drama for this couple but not necessarily from within.
Just as Reese is beginning a new trial that promises lots of trouble, Cat has some unexpected news to share and finds the timing all wrong. Add in the arrival of someone from Reese’s past and suddenly they are swamped with trouble from every angle.
Reese is still just as swoony as previously with his totally protective possession of Cat. He’s man enough to give her the independence she needs but alpha enough to stand against her when needed. As for Cat, she knows she can stay strong against him if needed, but she also recognizes his own needs and meets him in the middle. They are perfect together and together is how they conquer the issues that surround them.
We have lots of characters from other books/series that assist the storyline and plenty of heat and chemistry between the hero and heroine as well. This is a slower paced book but I never skimmed as I was invested completely in every thought this couple have. The ending was complete sweetness and left me with a sigh of contentment.

Reese & Cat was the perfect couple. Reid is a great Criminal defense attorney and Cat is the columnist writer defending cases and giving her readers her thoughts about each day of the trial in her column and a book writer.
Reese is dealing with the 2nd hardest trial of his career. When his past comes calling right as he is starting the trial now he has to deal with someone blackmailing him and he is now needing to protect Cat his wife because the stalker shows they have been following Cat for months. Not wanting to get distracted from the murder trial because his client deserve excellence but his wife deserve his protection. So guess who he hires to help... yes, Walker Security.
Now Cat's brothers Reid & Gabe Maxwell are being the brothers Cat never thought they could be because of the strained relationship they had. Cat never thought they cared enough about her. Now she learning to trust them and to patch up their relationship. They are just as protective as Reese and Reid shows Cat just how much by dealing with the threat and helping to eliminate it.
Now Reese wants this trial over and to win the victory while he deals with threats to him & Cat.

I loved getting back together with Cat and Reese again. It was like hanging out with friends I hadn't seen in a while, and it was good to see that they were still going strong. Still being 'them'.
The romance and hotness were as scorching as ever, as were their strong personalities. I loved that Cat had opened up enough to have several good friends - even if she was still a little guarded.
Of course, everything was not nice and easy for our protagonists - a former stalker came back out of the woodwork to bug Reese, and was not shy about going after Cat to get what she wanted.
Overall the story was really good, but I found the ending to be a little 'too neat'.

I have to say, Reese and Cat are my favourite couple in the dirty series.
We are again on a big legal case, Reese doesn't like to lose, and Cat is writing her column.
I loved seeing our lovelies 2 years down the track, and fell more for Reese than I did before.
However, Miss Jones, give our guys a break! More drama, more people trying to ruin their relationship - I just want them to have the happy for a little while!
It was great seeing more of the other guys and gals from the Dirty series, and I look forward to seeing where the next story takes us.

I loved this second visit to Cat and Reese’s original story, Dirty Rich One Night Stand. It’s aptly named Two Years Later and gives us a peek into how their lives are now after two years together. This is a full length novel, not some extended little epilogue and it's freaking awesome, and a little bit wild, and has some mystery too
So, Cat and Reese are ecstatically happy, still madly in love and making whoopie wherever and whenever they can. These two put the proverbial bunnies to shame and who can blame them?
But, it's not all sunshine and sexcapdes, there's some serious business to deal with too. Reese has a new client, a wealthy woman accused of murdering her father to gain her inheritance and get away from the awful man that he was. Reese has his hands full preparing for this new trial and Cat is busy helping him, while writing her column that follows Reese in the courtroom and she’s excited for the coming days as she will document this new trial just like she always does.
But, on the eve of the trial, Cat makes a discovery that will forever change their lives and even though she desperately wants to share the news with Reese, she holds back because she doesn’t want to distract him from his job. This is coupled with another troublesome episode, in the shape of a woman who stalked Reese several years earlier. She’s back and hellbent in causing trouble in the happy couple’s life, leaving Cat feeling stressed. Reese wants to protect her from any and all harm and will do whatever it costs to do so.
This second book wasn’t quite as intense or emotionally wrought as book 1 was. Reese is still drop dead gorgeous, he’s one hell of an attorney and one heck of a lover. He can turn Cat on with just one look or word. But, it was still suspenseful and sexy, and filled with all the secondary characters we’ve all come to know and love. Will Gage or Savage ever get their stories told. I, for one, sure hope so.

If you haven’t read Dirty Rich One Night Stand, you need to fix that now. This isn’t a standalone, although, I suppose you could, theoretically, be read it by itself, but you’d be missing so, so much.
I loved how Lisa gave us the inside scoop on this amazing marriage, their strengths and weaknesses, although being devoted to your spouse can hardly be categorized as such. Nothing can or will break these two apart. Ever. I hope we get another look further on down the line. I hate saying goodbye to my favorite couple. But for now, in the words of Cat herself.

I so love the relationship that Cat and Reese have and how they know right off the bat when something is wrong with each other. I love getting to see more of them two years later and to see how much in love they are. Reese is this awesome attorney and Cat, with her article, always grounds him during his trials. So what happens when something happens to Cat and she can’t tell Reese about it, because he is in the middle of this huge trial. With their connection, he senses that something isn’t right with Cat and she feels bad not telling him what’s going on. Then add to that the stress from trial that Reese is dealing with and then add some other outside situations to all of the stress and they start feeling that their relationship is off-balance. What will happen with Cat and how will Reese feel when he finds out Cat has been keeping things from him?
This is another must read book by Lisa Renee Jones and more of Cat and Reese.

Oh boy!! This book had me tearing through the pages. Well, that’s not really different from the rest of Jones’ books but this one just felt a little different. She added a different kind of drama for me that had my chest constricting and desperate to find out how it would play out.
I loved Cat and Reese’s original book and every appearance they’ve made since. I was so excited to see that Jones was giving them another book. I fell even more in love with these two. Their commitment to one another is inspiring. And don’t get me started on the steam!! They are just as hot now as they were before.
I absolutely loved Two Years Later. The excitement of the trial, the drama, the passion, all of it!

Reese is preparing his defence with the usual suspects. It great to see characters from some Lisa’s other books. This is calm before the storm and everything comes at them at once.
It was great to catch up with Cat and Reese I loved them as a couple in the original book, but this a very sensual book as Cat and Reese still have explosive chemistry. That’s all for now I want you to enjoy the book as much as I did. This is a full book not a novella. This is real treat catching up with Cat and Reese. It felt like visiting old friends, and what a visit.

i will never complain about having more of cat and reese’s story. 2 years later, they are even more adorable together. reese is onto another case to prove his client’s innocent. between cat and reese, everything’s perfect except an intruder of their relationship might ruin cat’s secret surprise for reese.
throughout the book, reese and cat communicated about their love, their insecurities and their anxiousness to one another. except, cat has something of importance that she decided not to tell reese until the trial is over. despite not knowing anything about the secret, reese was still willing to trust cat that she wasn’t doing anything that would detriment their relationship. similarly, with an intruder in the scene, cat didn’t allow that to diminish her excitement of the secret and her love for reese. they worked together as a team and damn well at that.
i loved the secondary characters too, they were hilarious and awesome and supportive. i’d like to read about savage’s story, i want to know what kind of woman is going to shock him into loving her because she’s gotta be real special to handle that man. gabe too, he needs his story.

I really enjoyed the first book, but this one was definitely not my favorite and the author's continued use of the phrase 'drugging kiss' was so unbelievably annoying that I rolled my eyes every time I read it. In the earlier series she used that phrase even more and to me that just spells lazy writing.
Also, this book needed an editor! She ends up calling Reese, Reid, at one point and there were other mistakes in writing and punctuation. I also found Cat to be particularly annoying in this one. Yes, I get that she is pregnant and hormonal, but her constant back and forth got old really fast.
Feels like this series should have just ended on the last book. I was so disconnected and disinterested in the couple in this one that I didn't even care about their intimate scenes, I actually skipped through them - and that's a very telling sign, as well as skimming other parts just so I could see 'who dunnit'.
Won't be reading the next one.

I loved Cat and Reese in Dirty Rich One Night Stand and was intrigued as to where they were individually and as a couple two years after the end of their first book. However, I was also a little wary as you can’t have a full-length story without some conflict – OH NO would my heart be able to take it.
Cat and Reese are as much in love as ever, they complete each other like no other couple I have ever witnessed. Although I think they would be permanently tired with the number of times they are intimate, lol. Reese has preserved his winning streak in court and Cat has become established as a best-selling true crime novelist while still maintaining her Cat Does Crime column. However, the new case Reese has taken on might just be the one to break Reese’s perfect record.
On top of the trail, Cat makes a surprising discovery she is unable to share with Reese in case it distracts him from his client. Although, due to their closeness, Reese is acutely aware of Cat keeping something from him. Promising Reese all will be revealed on his birthday when hopefully all the other events in their lives will have settled down. Cat does what she does best and writes about all of her experiences she is undergoing while unable to share her discovery with Reese.
Unfortunately, there is another spanner thrown into the works when a blast from Reese’s past comes back into the picture with lots of crazy.
I loved how Cat and Reese handled every situation thrown at them; they really do epitomise the saying ‘stronger together’. I would like to thank Lisa for delivering a story that while it does have conflict, that conflict does not detract from the relationship between the protagonists.
I also loved the inclusion of Cat’s brothers, Reid and Gabe, and the way in which they are developing their relationship with their sister 💕

Eek! Cat and Reese are back!!! I loved these two first time around and I fell even deeper this time around.
Cat and Reese's relationship is as strong as ever but about to be tested in so many ways. You just know though that no matter what comes their way, they will survive because they have each other.
Reese is working on his next high profile case when this book starts but someone is out to destroy him professionally and personally, at a time that should be special for them both.
There was so much going on here from all angles but because of Lisa Renee Jones' skill you were able to keep up and feel part of the story. This was Lisa Renee Jones at her absolute best as she weaved her magic in creating a story I couldn't put down with all its twists and turns and characters that feel like old friends and plenty of heat to go with it. Excellent read.

Absolutely captivating, page-turning, sexy, exciting read! I don't know how LRJ continues to outdo herself.
More Reese and Cat??? Yes please! I loved catching up with them but this isn't a sweet story. There are many aspects to this story: sexy scenes, murder, danger, mystery, intrigue, suspense and love! Reed and Cat's love will be tested. Is there love strong enough to withstand the storm? You'll have to read to find out. I loved the supporting characters as well. I am hoping that Cat's brothers get a story of their own. They are quite mysterious and intriguing!
This is well worth the read! I highly recommend reading it. Especially if you've read Dirty Rich One Night Stand. You will not be disappointed!

This continuing story of their love is so much more than a simple extended epilogue, instead we get a whole second adventure filled with danger, secrets, intriguing charters and still so much passion.... Loved it! Their journey is so full and engaging it took more than one whole book to tell it all and I for one loved every heart pounding emotional twist and turn.

Let me start by saying that where this is a sequel, you’ll want to read Reese & Cat’s first book, Dirty Rich One Night Stand, before hopping in here. And if you haven’t read any of the previous novels in the Dirty Rich series then there may be some mild spoilers about other couples if you read them out of sequence. That being said, Lisa Renee Jones did a fantastic job as always of grabbing my interest right away with this power couple’s romantic journey and throwing one obstacle after another their way. 4.5⭐️ this was far better than the first one! it was such a good way to wrap up their story and I loved the court case. I would’ve rounded up to 5 stars on here if the main characters weren’t named Royce, Reece, and Reid. I kept getting so confused.

"Dirty Rich One Night Stand: Two Years Later" is the perfect sequel to Lisa Renee Jones' novel "Dirty Rich One Night Stand", which now delves even deeper into the lives of Cat and Reese, revealing the complications and challenges of their married life two years later. Not only does this story offer the perfect blend of romance and crime thriller, it also confronts the reader with a personal dilemma that reveals a new side to Cat and Reese's relationship.
One of the most significant elements in the novel is Cat's unexpected pregnancy. Cat's decision to keep this news a secret from her husband for the time being adds another emotional layer to the story. Ooohhh.... We are back to the delicious courtroom dramas and a couple who're madly in love and get to see and experience that bliss first hand along with them with loads of 𝗌𝖾𝗑𝗒 times as bonus.
After reading the first book, I was oh so overjoyed for this follow up book where we continue life with Reese and Cat, two years later and now leading a happily married life.
But there's another huge case that Reese has taken on and once again we find ourselves smack dab in what might be the second biggest trial case for Reese Summers.
Reese is under a lot of pressure right now as he finds himself a twister when the night before the case starts, an exposure comes to light which might force Reese to change his entire game strategy.
And if this wasn't enough, Cat now has to grapple with keeping a secret of her own from Reese lest he gets distracted from his high profile case and she doesn't want anything to take away from her husband's focus now.
Add to this pile, comes a blast from Reese's past that might test the strength of the bond that Reese and Cat share.
We have a lot going on in this one but I feel everything that happens just keeps you engrossed and intrigued to know what will happen next.
Once again, seeing this master Attorney in action was amazing and I just loved the magic that Reese and Cat create through their mutual knowledge of the legal matters which shows in their work and also the way they expertly twist the current happenings to bring forth the truth no matter what.
The gang of friends were amazing in their support of Reese and Cat. We have the besties of Cat - Lauren and Lori and also their respective husbands Royce and Cole being there for Cat and Reese both in the trial and helping find evidence and also emotionally.
My most favourite was getting loads and loads of Reese and Cat times together.
Ahh... Watching them and getting to witness the kind of love and bond they share has my entire heart.
That's how a husband and wife should be who are madly in love with one another and also stand by each other no matter what.

Ooohhh.... We are back to the delicious courtroom dramas and a couple who're madly in love and get to see and experience that bliss first hand along with them with loads of 𝗌𝖾𝗑𝗒 times as bonus.
After reading the first book, I was oh so overjoyed for this follow up book where we continue life with Reese and Cat, two years later and now leading a happily married life.
But there's another huge case that Reese has taken on and once again we find ourselves smack dab in what might be the second biggest trial case for Reese Summers.
Reese is under a lot of pressure right now as he finds himself a twister when the night before the case starts, an exposure comes to light which might force Reese to change his entire game strategy.
And if this wasn't enough, Cat now has to grapple with keeping a secret of her own from Reese lest he gets distracted from his high profile case and she doesn't want anything to take away from her husband's focus now.
Add to this pile, comes a blast from Reese's past that might test the strength of the bond that Reese and Cat share.
We have a lot going on in this one but I feel everything that happens just keeps you engrossed and intrigued to know what will happen next.
Once again, seeing this master Attorney in action was amazing and I just loved the magic that Reese and Cat create through their mutual knowledge of the legal matters which shows in their work and also the way they expertly twist the current happenings to bring forth the truth no matter what.
The gang of friends were amazing in their support of Reese and Cat. We have the besties of Cat - Lauren and Lori and also their respective husbands Royce and Cole being there for Cat and Reese both in the trial and helping find evidence and also emotionally.
My most favourite was getting loads and loads of Reese and Cat times together.
Ahh... Watching them and getting to witness the kind of love and bond they share has my entire heart.
That's how a husband and wife should be who are madly in love with one another and also stand by each other no matter what.

DIRTY RICH ONE NIGHT STAND, TWO YEARS LATER is the seventh book in the Dirty Rich series – or is it the sixth. Each stands on their own, but with crossover characters.
First, I’m going to discuss the numbering in this series. I hate when authors change the order or decide to move things around after everything is out and organized. THE BASTARD was supposed to be number six. Then it became part one of a duet. So, now everything else is supposed to shift – maybe? I hope what I did below helps to clear that up. I included the duet within this series.
Second point of irritation: On the other hand, should this be book seven? Through most of this story, which happens two years after Cat and Reese met and fell in love, Cat’s brothers are single with no intentions of changing. BUT, if you’ve been keeping up with the series, then you’ve already read book three – where Reid meets Carrie.
Setting those irritations aside now, let me dish about this story… or not. I hate to say too much and spoil the fun of discovery, but I don’t want to say too little and not entice you to join the journey.
I will tell you that, again, this is not an extended epilogue. Lisa Renee Jones knows how to bring characters forward and develop the next chapter in their life.
I loved Cat and Reese falling in love. After two years of marriage, they are still in love, devoted, and best friends in a way that most couples can only dream of being. I love their strength and resiliency. I love their belief in one another. I love the way they protect one another and are each a cheerleader for the other.
I loved spending more time with so many favorite characters, especially Savage from Walker Security. I think it’s time for book four in that series – just saying.
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to the next Dirty Rich man and the girl who will steal his heart.

I love Reese and Cat, the way that their relationship started carries through to where they are now. It's clear that they have a strong relationship that was based on attraction first but intense mutual respect as a secondary. There's no question that they are a match well made and the challenges that they face in their second book together reminds us that it's never easy even when you feel like you are solid.
In addition to the case that Reese is working, and we know that he never defends someone who is guilty, there's so much more going on. Cat has a secret of her own that she's afraid to tell Reese because it's something that they hadn't talked about and something that's being taken away as a result of a stalker reappearing in Reese's life. threatening all that they have together and putting questions in everyone's mind about what's real.
One of the really wonderful things about this series - and these attorney's cases specifically is that we all know that they won't represent someone who's guilty. so it's partially about proving the prosecution wrong, but it's also about putting to the forefront who actually committed each crime. this story does exactly that - gives us an opportunity to find out who killed this heiresses father - when we know it wasn't her.
this stalker actually has really big role in the story - there are threats against Reese sure, but she comes after Cat and tries to break everything that they built up together, and the way that our author writes this makes us feel the stability in the relationship but also makes us wonder what the breaking point is for everyone.
The thread that's always pulled through though is the heat and romance, the trust and love that's shared between them and Lisa Renee Jones manages to give us a story with so much depth and intrigue that you find yourself reading it faster than imagined. I'm not going to lie, i hope this isn't the last installment in the Cat and Reese saga.
