When it comes to keeping her, these billionaires mean business . . .
Ivy
It’s funny how one little pill can change your entire life. Or, more accurately, the forgetting of one tiny pill. Just when everything was going right . . . fate threw a major ‘f*ck you’ my way in the form of a bun in the oven. So what did I do? Ran. Ran from the two men I adored, because they didn’t want kids. There was no place for them in their world. They’d told me that a dozen times. I had no intention of ever coming back—but desperation makes a woman do crazy things. So now, here I stand, begging for a job and eating crow by the bucket load. It doesn’t help that they look better than ever. Ripped muscles pressing against their suits with that utterly alpha look in their eyes. The look that promises to fulfill your every desire. And my body hasn’t forgotten for a second the way they made me scream in pleasure night after night. But I’ve got no plans to repeat the past. My life is different now, I’m different now. It's just business this time . . . right?
Logan/Tyler
She’s back. The one woman we’ve ever loved. The same woman who abandoned us a year ago with not so much as a god-damn post it note . . . She says she wants a job. No, not wants—demands—it. Who the hell does she think she is? Barking orders like we’re the ones who screwed her over. And how dare she? How dare she show up with all her attitude and hot little body, teasing us like she didn’t smash our hearts into oblivion? Just the sound of her voice makes us harder than steel, but we’re not giving in, dammit. She’s been keeping secrets . . . and we want answers. And we’re going to get them out of her, one good spanking at a time. This naughty girl needs to be punished. And before we give her the pleasure we know she can’t resist, she’ll have to beg for forgiveness . . . on her hands and knees . . . naked.

This is the second book in this series. I have not read the first though I do have it in my kindle it was free on Bookfunnel. But that is beside the point that I really want to make here. This is really a very, very good story. Yes, there are very descriptive sexual scenes in it, sex sell. However I you like you the read to do as I have done and look past that, and look at the story itself; that is were the true art of the writer is and Harper did a wonderful job of bring some things up that we either need to look at or the consider in not only our lives but others as well.
Ivy was once in a lover’s tirade with these two men. Logan being the dominate of the group always in control of himself and in control of the situations around him. Tyler was the fun loving one; together the equaled each other out. Ivy loved them both; and then she discovered that she was pregnant. While she was so excited about the news when she went to join them for lunch before she was able to share it Tyler announced that his sister was once again pregnant and expecting their third child. It was then that both men disclosed how they never wanted to have children. Each had their own reason but they both made it clear. Ivy thinking to herself that if the didn’t want her child then they would not want her. So to save everyone the discomfort of having to deal with it she left them without a word.
Both Logan and Tyler did not take her disappearing well. Tyler went to being a playboy and going out with every girl he ran into to try and forget about Ivy whereas Logan went into himself. Then one day while looking for a replacement receptionist Ivy shows up and begs for the job. Not telling them about her failed company or anything that had happened in the last eighteen months. Logan hired her. It was on a fluke that Tyler found out where she was living now, and about someone named Oliver. The men didn’t know who this person was and Ivy didn’t want to be forth coming.
Ivy had made her first million at thirty years of age. But things happened with her pregnancy. She had a difficult time almost losing her life in the process. Then there was the post postpartum depression resulting from everything that she had been through and the lack of support.
This story really circles around truth and honesty not only to those that love you, but to yourself. In this story there are really two people that are lost in the events of their past. However with the help of each other they found the help that they needed. The honesty to make their relationship work not only for them but for their now family. I am sorry if I am making this sound deeper than what it appears but if you really read the story maybe you just might find something in it that could help you as well. It is a fantastic book please take a chance are read it and see where it takes you.
Good read though there are some issues with grammar and the story
It’s a great read if you can look over the missing words that will stop you in your tracks as you try to figure out what word should be there. Then there is the repeat of not only a sentence, but the preview of another book is the same book you just finished reading. Then the story line jumps from her never telling them why she left and then suddenly knowing why. Seriously one moment they don’t have a clue why and the next sentence they already know. Let’s take a look at an issue that should of had more to it. First she promotes her assistant to run her company? Not ever going to happen. The person who takes over will always have experience in the duties of the boss because they’re trained right alongside the boss. An assistant isn’t going to be able to do that. They don’t know all the ends and out of the company and the deals that need to be made. Plus, who in their right mind would risk making a deal without first discussing it with the owner? Third she has two billionaires who would do anything for her including righting some wrongs. That would include looking up the person who bankrupt her business and making sure that any potential employers know what she did. Regardless if it is write or wrong. Especially when Ivy tells them about said assistant was at the conference and what was said to her. They have connections that they can reach out to. Do some more research, the business world is cut throat and this is missing that aspect of it.
So, I really enjoyed this read / listen for a multitude of reasons. First - I really loved these characters - they came across both real and vulnerable but with so much strength too. I loved the differences between Logan and Tyler (I would love to have known more of their back story. Ivy - I get it - scared and ran but really, lets not make excuses which is what I felt like she did - but again those characteristics are SO REAL, which makes me love this writing. I love that it's not just an erotic read of sex, sex, sex - although I do enjoy those too - this one had more and I just really appreciated the story line. I also loved the nuggets of wisdom thru this read and that Ivy seems to mature thru the read. Narration was great, story line wonderful - again, I loved the characters and the chemistry between ivy and Logan and Ivy and Tyler are so unique and fun to listen to! West is becoming a fast favorite and I can't wait for more!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read
I grabbed this book with Kindle Unlimited as the blurb looked really good. The book was ok. I understood why Ivy ran but having her lose her fortune and and live in a very bad neighborhood in one year's time was a little overboard. She has been away from Tyler and Logan for a year but it doesn't take long before they are intimate again (I'm talking days). The story seems really rushed and I felt like I was dumped into the middle of a story. I did't feel a connection between the characters and it was kind of slow.
What would you do when you find out your pregnant but the father or should I say fathers, don’t want kids. You up and leave with no explanation right? Maybe not such a great idea but that is what she did. In the process she broke not only her heart but that of the guys she loved.
Move forward 18 months and she is back. Not all is smooth sailing, which I’m glad about because that’s not life. This one had all the right feels and the right amount of conflict to drag you in until you had finished.
This book highlights the struggles women face trying to be “everything” - mother, wife, career professional, cook, cleaner, and more. As women, we should be supporting and backing up each other because we have enough problems without tearing down other women. Anyway, great story. My only complaint is the number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
Definitely different. The first I've read where the three are all intimate at once. The characters are well thought out and really mesh well together. Overall quality of writing was good but the proofreading has a few glitches. No cheating or cliffhanger, some steamy intimacy scenes and you get a happy ever after. Enjoy
Yet another good read from Harper west! This time two young billionaires find their formal girlfriend asks for a job with them! Still dealing with her sudden departure they find out she only left them because she became pregnant with their son! That's where it starts!
predictable but good...All main characters stood out in their own way. They face many twists and turns along the way. Why have one lover when you can have more? Why have one soul mate when you can have multi? This book is sweet while being hot at the same time.
This book was absolutely hot. The characters were remarkable and the bond they shared was strong. The emotional rollercoaster they went through was unbelievable. It was an excellent read you won't be disappointed.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that everything worked out for them in the end and they made it work for them.
Audiobook -- I liked the narrator. The book itself was good and moved along at a decent pace. The dynamics between Ivy, Logan, and Tyler kept things interesting. I liked that they owned up to their mistakes and shortcomings and pushed each other to be better.
Enjoyed reading this book. It was surprising to find out what Ivy went through because of a dinner conversation. It was interesting how they all ended up bringing their lifestyle because to normal. The actually worked well together. :)
That I actually bought this book rather than pick something else makes me furious with myself. Sometimes an author is just not your cup of tea and one more try did not do it for me.
