About the author

I am a self-published Canadian author who is studying to do my Master in Social Work in the UK. I started posting my poems following a serious car-crash in August 2016. My work centers around mental health, love, relationships and recovery. I am fascinated by the complexity and resilience of the human spirit and allow my experiences and the experiences of others around me to inspire my writing. I love reading poetry, mystery, fantasy and young-adult fiction. My favourite author is Haruki Murakami.

imma be real honest here and say all of the "she" and "her" poems should've been their own separate section instead sprinkled throughout the book. some of the poems are better than others, especially the ones with actual POV. the poems that show who the author is instead of just preaching to the reader

I am wondering, how this art is not known? Where is everyone?

This is beautiful, very beautiful, I never knew simple words can have such an impact; I didn’t know simple words can become this deep. Chris explained painful experiences in few lines, that's why I love this one so much. I saw my life in this one.

Some poems went straight to my heart. He is being open and honest throughout the whole book, like always, and this is what I like about Chris's writing. Such openness is pretty rare in this world.

This is my favourite book of his so far. I hope Chris releases another one soon, I would love to read it.

I don’t know much about poetry books, but this may be one of the best ones in this genre.

What a great book to end the month with.
