Marianne was a girl with big dreams. Her and her friend Jack wanted to leave Willow Creek when they grew up. Marianne after college married Kyle and moved to DC. the week of their wedding Marianne went back to her hometown and met up with her friend Jack. They let their passion get the best of them. she went back to Dc anyway and married Kyle, and had a daughter together. 9 years later Kyle was killed so Marianne and Laura moved back to Willow Creek. Jack thinks Laura is his child since they had a one night stand. Marianne and Jack try to rekindle their friendship and possibly end up falling in love or do they? and is jack Laura's father or is Kyle? have to read Child of Dreams to find out lol

This was yet another enjoyable Romance. The story of youthful love, without trust; causing shattering upsets within the lives of both youths (but in different ways). One marries a man she does not love, after feeling rejected by her heart's desire (who unbeknownst to her, did so only out of his own insecurities and wounded pride). A cute and delightful read.

My first ever venture into the Romance genre. A beautifully written book which I return to from time to time. The copy I have actually belonged to one of my aunts which she passed on to me. It's a lovely story! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
