The things I knew about her, the way I watched. It was all to protect her, all to know her.
She liked her tea with milk and sugar, extra sweet just like I knew her lips would be if I were to kiss her. I was desperate for her.
She chewed on her pencil when she was concentrating, her little tongue coming out and moving along her bottom lip.
I was hungry for her.
She played with the ends of her hair when she was nervous, her fingers delicate, long, like she played piano, her nails painted pink.
The things I thought about her doing with those tiny hands.
And she bit her bottom lip when she was worried, those straight white teeth sinking into the red flesh, like an apple being broken into, the crack of it consuming.
I didn’t deny I wanted her. I didn’t even try and hide it. Innocent. That’s what she was. I stalked her, knew her every like and dislike … obsessed over her. I wanted her as I’d never wanted anything in my life. And I told myself that watching her, following her, was to keep her safe. To keep her mine. I was her professor. She was my student. It was wrong to need her the way I did. But she consumed me like I was gasping to breathe and she was oxygen.
I was a selfish bastard, and when it came to Grace, I wanted her all to myself.

❤ LOVED THIS BOOK ❤
Damn, this book was awesome. Possessive, obsessed H totally gone for the h? Um, yes please. Here's just a bit of his inner dialogue.
Lucian-
"I remember the first time I saw her like it was yesterday. The first day she’d put her spell on me. The first day I’d fallen in love with her. The first day I’d become obsessed."
Phew...it just gets better after that.

Pretty much insta everything but it wasn't boring.
Professor is basically about two people who claim the other is just theirs. There's Professor Lucian Goode who just can't do anything right when it's comes to one of his students, Grace. Every time he has her class he can't help but just focus on her. It also doesn't help that she is one of the many students who wants to bang him. She's also a virgin but once they get together they only really care about each other. Consequences be damned!
The romance between these two was cute. It was hot and spicy just when it needed to be. I, of course, knew that they were bound to be caught. I don't know why people never lock doors but hey, what do I know? Lucian ends up losing his teaching job but it does't phase him. Nope, because he already has everything he wants. Family money and the girl of his dreams, Grace.
Towards the end of this book, they are still happily together. They actually live with one another but there's no marriage (just talk) and no surprise baby. I don't know how that girl isn't pregnant because they weren't using protection and there was no mention of her on the pill. Maybe she has a magical vagina..
Overall, it was cute and predictable. I liked how there was zero bullshit drama as well. Oh, and a super quick read!

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the second book that I have read from Jenika Snow. The first book was an audiobook from the Read Me Romance podcast and I knew that I wanted to experience more of her work. There are no words to describe this book. I loved it. Lucian and Grace were a great couple. They are teacher and student and that is forbidden. She knew when she first walked into his class, that he was the one for her. Their attraction was slow burning because of the situation. I loved that. You were able to watch it all unfold and you could feel the emotion between the characters. The decisions that they had to make to be happy. Did they get their HEA? You will have to read it to find out but let me say you won't be disappointed. I was pulled into the story from page 1 and I didn't want it to end. I can't wait to see what she has coming up next. I will be reading more of her work.

Jenika Snow is my go to author when I want a fast insta love read. With this one it’s a little Taboo but in the best way.
Grace is pure of heart and may come across as a little fragile for a Jenika Snow heroine but you still can’t help but love her. She has a few hang ups mainly caused by the way that her father just abandoned her and her mother for a woman not too much older than her and has never shown any interest in men. That was until she set eyes on Professor Lucien Goode and here heart has belonged to him ever since. Never believing he would look twice at a student she agrees to a night out clubbing with her friend when some guy gets a little forward and she is rescued by Professor Goode from that moment on he makes his intentions clear. But how can they be together when she is his student?
Professor Lucian Goode has wanted Grace since she walked into his classroom, he has watched her from afar for months and knows no other man will ever have her. When he follows her to a club and sees a man with hands on his woman he decided that the time has come for him to claim what is his and he doesn’t care who knows it. The only thing that matters is Grace and her knowing that she will always be his priority.
Lucian is a great alpha male, possessive with the right amount of stalker tendancies and Grace was sweet and shy very enjoyable read.

Achieving his goal meant other things were cast aside, including a social life, and that's fine by him since he tends to be a loner anyway, his personality more gruff than friendly. Then he sees an angel in a white dress, pure innocence radiating from her and he can't wait to make her his.
Grace lives up to her name, her heart loyal to those she allows in. She's known pain in her short years, the essential abandonment of her dad - complete with a much younger woman despite still being married to his high school sweetheart - is something she still struggles with, but she's determined to not let it rule her life. When she enters Professor Goode's classroom, feelings she's never experienced hit and she's unsure how to react, but does her best to act natural.
What neither knows is the attraction is mutual, a bond growing despite the fact they have very little contact aside from class. However, Lucian does make it a point to visit Grace's job, and that's when he overhears their plans for the night...ones he has no intention of letting her do without him to watch over her.
Grace is thankful when Professor Goode intervenes during an uncomfortable situation, and is a little embarrassed that he saw her that way, but when they talk about it, she never expected to discover that not only does he feel the same about her, but he wants everything with her.

I did enjoy the story line, but I could not connect with the characters. It seemed as if Grace and Lucien were not in touch with each other, other than physically. This was a bit of a slow burn.

2.5-3 stars depending on how I feel at the moment.
I usually really like Jenkins Snow’s stories.
This one kinda follows her A Real Man series book Kilt Me, which I really liked.
This one not so much.... I don’t know if I was real cranky when I read this, but I felt like the story repeated itself.
Here is what I kept hearing:
Him- I want you
Her- Take me
Him- You’re mine
Her- I’m yours
Him- I’m never letting you go
Her- Don’t
Him- Tell me you’re mine
Her- Always
Him-I’m going to have you
Her- Yes please
Each time a new set of the same dialog came up, I would just groan. 🤦🏽♀️ We have the older Professor who the moment he sees the Heroine he knows that she is his. He stalks her for a bit and try’s to fight acting on his attraction because it is against policy. But he decides after an incident that he isn’t going to fight anymore. He is going to do all that he can to convince the Heroine that she is his. All the while, the Heroine has wanted him since the moment she has seen him.
We do have some delicious pressed against the wall sexual exploring. The must Professor office fooling around. The oh so tempting kitchen table fun. And the powerful screw the system, this girl is MINE.

Warning: panties will melt!!
Phenomenal story! Loved almost every bit of it (the only exception being the skanky trashy “friend” who has no self-respect, but it was a minor irritant and easily overlooked.)
The characterization of the hero: Strong, disciplined, stern was swoon-worthy, especially when mixed with his OTT love for the heroine.
The heroine was deliciously sweet and innocent, completely virginal which only made the love between them more powerful and binding. She was realistically nervous and shy trying to deal with the power of her love for the hero, as well as his love for her.
This author can be hit or miss with her books and so I was a bit wary reading this one as I’ve been very disappointed with other titles, such as describing a heroine as “innocent” and then learning oh no, she’s spread her legs for another man other than the hero and I personally hate when authors let you down like that. HOWEVER, in *THIS* title she outdid herself and hit the bullseye. Other than the normalization of her friend’s trashy behavior as something acceptable and ideal, on every point she scores a 10.

Jenika Snow is the author I go to when I want something that is instant love between the characters. I know others don't like that, and that's fine, but I happen to love them. Lucian is a professor at the college and Grace is his student. Right there, you know it's gonna go a little taboo! He wants her as soon as she walks into his room and she feels the same way but the feelings are kept to themselves. When Grace and her friend go out for an evening of fun, he follows them. Being that he's in love with her, he wants to keep an eye on her. It's almost like a stalker kind of thing but I didn't get the creepy vibe of a stalker. When something almost happens, he's right there to help her and the feelings start to come out. He doesn't care who knows about them while she is more reserved and shy about it. Will they be able to stay together after being caught or will this tear them apart. I really loved it and I loved that there wasn't any OW drama involved. Cute little story and I'm sure I'll read over and over.

fun take, i was going to make a funny .. hope it comes off that way?? i never had a sexy teacher .. i love each and every one of them ... in the right i mean ... but point being where the heck are all these sexy teachers authors write about?? i never seen them. the ones i knew of ... coffee breath (not a bad smell but u see what they point up with to take care of the kids and teach them right and wrong ... how high and low, all things u did learn. thank you teachers for all u do and will do, thank you!!) but to the ones who have the chance to have a sexy teacher ... or maybe to the ones who can write the sexy teacher reads ... thanks. great style. it's been a while since i read one from Jenika. i gotta figure out how to say her name ... Loved this story. I love Teacher/Student books a little taboo. Grace was sweet and shy. Lucian was anything but shy. He fell in love at first sight. But so did she. I loved that he kept an eye on her to protect her. She was wary of their relationship not wanting him to get in trouble. Lucian could care less he only wanted her. So what happens next?? Read this book and find out. You will not be disappointed.

Unnecessarily Long
I’m usually all for a quick read but this book literally dragged on for me. Something about the way these two characters interacted was so insufferable to me. Their communication was so tedious. I finished the book but I did not enjoy it!
