Rate this book
In the mountains of western North Carolina, things aren’t always as they seem. When a college student is found dead, the incident is quickly ruled a suicide. The boy’s parents hire Breeze and Brody to investigate his death. At first, they are stonewalled by the entire community, but Breeze devises a devious and clever plan to get to the truth. They think they’ve broken the case wide open, but soon learn their mission is not complete.

Another terrific book!

I could not wait until this newest Ed Robinson book was released, downloading it the day it became available on Amazon. I had to pace myself, otherwise I would have read it all in one day. Do yourself a favor and read the whole series of "Breeze" books. You will be glad you did. Thank you, Ed Robinson!

Knees are a problem.

People who have not suffered with knee pain might take a light view of Breezes' pain. Having been there and been thru Bi-lateral knee replacement I fully understand. Think you've experienced pain with the old knees? Wait til you take your first few steps with the new knees. Brutal! I read somewhere that you can't recall the pain. POOP!. I sure remember that. A lot worse than a hip replacement. Also more painful than having my foot torn off in an ATV accident. Ranks right up there with a broken pelvis. Looking forward to the next adventure.
Keep em coming.

Like going home!

Had a summer home in beautiful blowing rock for 20 years. Been all these places, done all these things ( except killing or cooking meth😂) author captures the beauty superbly and gets the low life shit well too. The hollers below us were filled with random gunfire almost nightly. Holes in all the traffic signs. Black toothed acne ridden ashen faced meth heads interspersed with tourists was almost incongruous. Fishin fun, but fish harder to find. If it wasn’t so close to crappy Charlotte it would be almost heaven.

Another Ed Robinson winner.

I have read all of the Breeze books that Ed Robinson has written and released. I must say every book has been hard to put down for any reason from Breezes trawler series including the teaming up with Brody in the Caribbean and now in the mountains of North Carolina. He is truly a excellent word smith. Keep up the good work.

Breeze always

No matter where they are, Breeze and Brody get sucked into drama. The remote mountain cabin life with no tv or phones has now morphed into Creekside Investigations. They are helping the communities around them and Breeze is sensational.

The character "Breeze" is a very interesting person! When he was in Florida, he was a beach bum! Now that he is in North Carolina, he has become a mountain man! He fits into his surroundings and does what he can to rebuild his karma! This series is definitely worth reading!

Masterful writting

I continue to enjoy Mr Robinson's work. The twist and turns support a believable plot that is both entertaining and believable . I still miss the ocean backdrop though.

What a rush!

If you know what I mean. A great story written by a wonderful author. Amazingly book after book and they just get better. Great adventure, suspense, with a little love thrown in for laughs. Very thoughtful.
Rock on
